Not really unlimited anything if they change the entire tool every two years and require you to purchase the new tool for continued support.
Not sure what you mean? The program as you bought it, is yours forever.
@@StefanMalloch You said "...unlimited future updates." to which I replied with the above as nothing is unlimited with Skylum. I have been using these tools since Luminar 3 and it is sometimes frustrating when they discontinue a tool in favor of a whole new tool. For one the older tools are no longer supported so no updates and the new tools require another purchase. And now they are moving to subscription models, though to be fair so are most developers, which is unfortunate. Yes I can buy a perpetual license but in order for the AI tools to work I have to subscribe. I wonder how that will work since at least some of them, the AI tools I mean, run locally.

Following your video I decided to buy it as my Capture one express for Sony is no longer available. It wasn’t a straight forward download as my details kept coming up as invalid. Contacted their customer support and within an hour all was sorted and installed. Great customer service👍👍😀
All I need now is time to get my head around it, although the interface looks good, it will take time to learn to navigate!

I had Nero on my PC for about a week and was beginning to enjoy it and then I started having issues with the mouse freezing and the last straw was the fact it would not upload images from my desktop! I contacted their support team and was advised to uninstall the program and then follow their instructions to re install. Over a 2 day period of doing this on 5 occasions I decided enough was enough and requested a full refund which as just arrived in my bank account this morning.
One has to admire their customer support. I’m very disappointed that it didn’t work for me especially considering my new computer is very fast with an I7 processor and 16G of ram!

From what I am seeing, and hearing, the focus stacking feature can do with some work...
It's a fun program and can produce stunning images, but they just switched to a subscription model. Their photo organizing is a pain point. Other programs have a more pleasant workflow IMO

Personally I felt you went overboard a lot with the edits, but I understand it since you want to demonstrate the features to us.
For example the last photo was not bland at all to begin with. It’s actually magical as it is. I wouldn’t have touched is beyond very basic color edits. The coolness in the original makes it mysterious.
The glows on the boats also felt unnatural to me, so I would have either only applied 20% of the strength you demonstrated or nothing at all.

Exactly, just showing the capabilities. Its a program to have fun with and easy for inexperienced people to push the envelope.
Why it's so hard to remove photos from catalouge? There is no option to do that, the only option is to remove them to trash and if you empty this trash then your photos are erased from disk.
Mt. Bromo is so gorgeous, I used AI in the Bromo more dramatic awesome
