My lessons are FREE, but I would appreciate a small donation from those who use them regularly -- $5 to $10. That's a one-time payment that will help cover the costs of my spending time on this instead of giving regular lessons - that would cost you a LOT more. I cannot continue doing these free lessons without it paying off a little. Thanks!

Thanks to all of you who have donated so far! - เพลง
Thanks for the video.
Great lesson friend. I'll be duck walking soon.
Thank you very much! The 2nd lick sounds a little like the "I m a little mixed up" lick. I ve always liked all your great videos and now I ve found this (hidden) lick. Thanks!!!
Nice lesson. Thanks for the tabs!
Nice lesson. Good explanations and info. Thanks!
You play them well! THe key to Chuck Berry is to get the beat pounding through your body. Always play with a record and learn from that....NEVER play them isoltaed from the ryhthm. I have seen too many ordinary players butchering Chuck Berry.
just as this fella has done
Complete rubbish playing with records idiot
Much as all lick knowledge is great fully received a little more context would be handy for the talent challenged. But thanx all the same.
Thanks man!
Good lesson and I learned a few things. But one thing I’ve noticed is that most instructors are showing licks out of the root cord and not showing licks the go to the fourth or the fifth. That’s where I’m having trouble
Well your really being misled I understand its poor to not mention your point or even check your level totally wrong
es guud yu videos gracias
Intro licks from "Johnny B. Goode" by Chuck Berry is a T-Bones inspired licks!!!!!
Nah, I would say it's from an old Loui Jordan tune
Where is Part 2 Link ?
Can I just check something... the note your bending in that second lick is Bb i.e. 11th fret on B string. So why does that work in G because chord notes are G B D and the flattened 7th would be F. Is it because you bend up to C which is the IV chord? Any help advice much appreciated. Thanks
Your going about it wrong way thus fellers not got it right I play these type of riffs daily so easy but really its just go for it not endless discussion of notes and the sound here is lacking treble chuck used heavy plectrum mostly influenced by rosette Thorp mate
@@dontgoout1434 so I take it you don't know either?
what guitar are you playing?
It's an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II - got it used on Ebay for around $600 - it's my main guitar for recording and playing live - when I do. Thanks!
Thanks
The Elmore James Lick #5 is in Db --- not Eb. My bad.
closeupman Its an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II.
It was A LOT cheaper than a Gibson - $350 + it plays wonderfully
thanks gleaned something
The next teacher who doesn`t teach notes, horrible.Oh 3rd fret of the 7th string, with the 6th finger, beatifull.
If you know the names of all the notes of the finger board, you should be past needing a lesson on chuck berry licks.
@@misterknightowlandco Cheap excuse.
Very poor sound quality mate.......only when u speak...guitar sounds o.k.....cheers from Canada....keep it up....
90% boring talking
wow...you're not good at percentages...are you ?
It's poor to say easy riffs
Cal reason blues king better listen to him
Why do you guys talk so MUCH
Trying to help people UNDERSTAND what they are playing - so instead of just memorizing it, they can apply it to other songs, keys, grooves, etc., You don't have to watch you know. If you need immediate gratification or something there's plenty of other lessons out there for those with short/no attention spans.
