The guy may feel deceived if he sees the real you and you dont look like you. If it were the other way round I would. My boyfriend met me with no makeup so this isn't applicable to me. The days I do wear makeup it isn't heavy. I think we as women need to be comfortable in our skin. This doesn't mean that we can't wear heavy makeup but on the days we don't we should be just as confident.

Well when I met the man who eventually became my husband, I was in my natural hair season. It was caught in one with a little afro bun, minimal makeup and yes my dressing was lit and I caught his eyes. Whenever I was to see him I'd make sure I had on makeup, braids/ weave/extensions etc and though he thinks I'm beautiful, he always compliments my natural look. It is sad that many women don't see themselves as beautiful as they are without the added stuff.

I no longer wear any makeup and I love the freedom it gives me. I used to have acne and I struggled trying to get rid of it. I tried everything from custom acne fighting foundation, to cleaning my makeup brushes every day, airbrush makeup, prescription acne creams, expensive skin care products for acne but nothing worked. Then one day I realized it must be caused by wearing makeup, so I quit wearing it and now my skin looks amazing. At first I was worried how I would feel... but the truth is I don't miss it at all. The trick is drink lots of water and get 7 to 8 hours of sleep. You can still wear makeup for special occasions or just do your eye makeup and lips, but skipping foundation has saved my skin and made me more confident.
I have a different take on this topic: You don’t have to be sad or insecure to wear makeup. Just like you don’t have to be sad or insecure to wear nail polish, shave your legs, shave your armpits or wear a nice dress. Women throughout history have always done things to their appearance to make themselves stand out. Makeup, perfume, expensive clothes, jewelry, (even puppies) are all accessories we women wear to indicate status, express our culture, indicate our sexual orientation, and/or attract a high quality mate.

Well when I met the man who eventually became my husband, I was in my natural hair season. It was caught in one with a little afro bun, minimal makeup and yes my dressing was lit and I caught his eyes. Whenever I was to see him I'd make sure I had on makeup, braids/ weave/extensions etc and though he thinks I'm beautiful, he always compliments my natural look. It is sad that many women don't see themselves as beautiful as they are without the added stuff.
I want a man to see me without makeup from the get go. He should know ME before we even date. THEN when I do put make up and hair on... he'll appreciate the enhancement more.

lol I had a wig when I met my husband and he didnt know it wasn’t my real hair for about 3/4 months or so.. smh he’s white so I was like scared of his reaction. I was the first black girl he’d ever dated let’s just say he knows a lot more about black culture and many ways we can do our hair ! and loves my natural hair ❤️ I also always did my eyebrows and would wake up before he did to do them bc I used to be super insecure about them bc they are basic non-existent! we’re expecting baby #1 and I rock that natural look ALL the time!

this is so different from my country we usually walk and do everything without make up unless we go to parties and it depends on which party and some don’t care about parties and maybe status mostly celebrities and even them sometimes don’t wear make up

It's funny how they highlighted Loni's wig when every single one of the ladies on the panel is wearing Magic Hair... If I like a man, I make sure that he sees me without a drop of make-up by the third date. If you wait too long, he will get used to seeing you all made up, and no matter how beautiful you are naturally, you will look strange to him. When I go on my all-natural date, I make sure that my real hair is fabulous, my eyebrows are brushed and smoothed, and thank goodness my eyelashes are as long as most falsies. If a man does not like what he see when he sees me au natural, then he wasn't meant for me anyway...

Hi ladies, I'm tamara from Jamaica and I love watching the real, I have a mole too.
I no longer wear any makeup and I love the freedom it gives me. I used to have acne and I struggled trying to get rid of it. I tried everything from custom acne fighting foundation, to cleaning my makeup brushes every day, airbrush makeup, prescription acne creams, expensive skin care products for acne but nothing worked. Then one day I realized it must be caused by wearing makeup, so I quit wearing it and now my skin looks amazing. At first I was worried how I would feel... but the truth is I don't miss it at all. The trick is drink lots of water and get 7 to 8 hours of sleep. You can still wear makeup for special occasions or just do your eye makeup and lips, but skipping foundation has saved my skin and made me more confident.

I have a different take on this topic: You don’t have to be sad or insecure to wear makeup. Just like you don’t have to be sad or insecure to wear nail polish, shave your legs, shave your armpits or wear a nice dress. Women throughout history have always done things to their appearance to make themselves stand out. Makeup, perfume, expensive clothes, jewelry, (even puppies) are all accessories we women wear to indicate status, express our culture, indicate our sexual orientation, and/or attract a high quality mate.
