Lolo Mjoks I’ve had a few painful periods to the point were I couldn’t walk it effected my back and I could not move my legs I got checked to see if I mayb had endometriosis and the dr said it was just a bad period she also said it runs more in African American woman but I 100% find that excersiseing relieves pain
Lol, If someone doesn’t wanna go on a date for any reason they shouldn’t. On their period or not! Why is this even a question ? Obviously it’s subjective.
Amen 🙌 and that's personal too if you do cancel you dont owe a specific answer just say your not well cause dont wanna put that on woman like it's a disability or excuse to not do something
You are speaking THE TRUTH !! I tend to flow heavy almost every month ... It is the worst . I literally don't want to do anything , go nowhere , and I'm moody and irritable so I just want everyone to leave me alone until the 4th to last day of my period ...
Yes! I have to skip out of class because my flow is too heavy and I end up staining myself really bad. Not to mention the severe cramps, cold sweats, diarrhea, nausea and lack of appetite.
Yeah I use to get sick like that. Vomiting and major cramps and nausea. Nothing worked. It was the first day only. Taking strong pain killers like naproxen my doc prescribed takes the edge off if taken at least 6 hours before. After I had a baby my menstural pain significantly got better. It’s noting To joke about.
Oh yeah, at 31 n still feeling these terrible cramps n I be like, I'm too grown for this terrible pain... Always miss work n other stuff. Don't care either because this pain is all I think about...
Sometimes ovulation and your period may overlap depending on the length of your cycle. Everyone is different. Adrienne was not confusing the two. She was simply saying that some people are horniest during their menses. Tamera said she is most horny during ovulation.
REALLY ADRIENNE!? “I don’t mean to sound insensitive” then proceeds to say I wonder how some of my girls friends don’t know how to manage their periods when they’ve had it for 20 something years every month. So if I get stabbed every month I’m supposed to be used to the pain right? Like you really think it ain’t gonna hurt anymore ?
Kay Kay her body function isn’t normal so she is insensitive on how most woman have a period and what comes with it. Her opinion doesn’t matter here lol
So ignorant. For a lot of women there is nothing that can be done. There is no absolute cure. They just have to have the painkillers and anti-inflammatories ready till menopause.
And it changes I've had one since 11 I'm 36 now you never get use to it imo. With each child and each yr you age it changes so yeah maybe she got it all figured out but mine has a mind of it's own every month
This was very insensitive ladies. Some of us have intense period pains and have not been diagnosed with endometriosis or anything medical. Before I was on the pill I would throw up and PASS OUT every month. Painkillers never helped. So yes your period does sometimes “rule your life”.
A lot of women think they don't have medical problems when they do though. Health care is a joke when it comes to women's reproductive problems. You either get dismissed with a 'it's normal' or the pill. If it's really that bad you should see a specialist with good reviews
I don’t think she was talking about that level of pain when she said that. I really dislike that people are practicing intellectual dishonesty in these comments.. the title of the video clearly says “having your period” it’s not saying how heavy etc. Obviously if you’re in extreme pain there’s no issue in cancelling it.. I mean yeahh 😐. She probably meant just a random period. You can go on it and not have any sex. As a girl I wholeheartedly mean this when I say that girls are weird🥴. Y’all in the comments are not logical thinking. Like if you’re in immense pain obviously you won’t go on the date duh
Some insensitive things said here. Everyone's period is different. I used to throw up every time I got my period. That's not something you get used to no matter how many dozens of times it happens. Luckily, I don't throw up anymore but the severe pains are still there. Over the years, doctors have given me different medications that don't address the root problem. So if a woman chooses to not do things because she has her period, don't be so insensitive and suggest that "she should be used to it after many years" or that "she shouldn't let it get in the way". You don't know what she's dealing with. Also, what have millenials got to do with this Loni? 🙄🙄
Same, when I'm having my period I will faint, throw up, have diarrhea, and be moaning and doubled over with pain that feels like I'm giving birth. Its so bad it makes me feel suicidal. Just because some women don't know what it feels like to have severe endometriosis/dysmenhorrea doesn't mean you should judge how other women may feel when getting their period.
@@ruby4751 Hey ruby hats why they said if its not medical. Tia has endometriosis as Tamera said and so do I. GIrl I dont faint luckily but I used to ge so much pain tht i couldnt stand to get out the bed upon getting up i would collapse. And if i am having a particularly bad period I aint going on a date. but with endo i rarely feel like dating anyway sadly
Yes! I absolutely dread the day I get my period because of how bad the menstrual cramps are. I also throw up and get diarrhea, I feel so weak. I always have to call off work on the first day I get it😔
@@TonyellevilleTemple They said that period aren't a big deal & just take some model because missing a date or work is silly. That ignores women who have intense pain (but don't have a medical condition), heavy periods or lots of vomiting. Saying get over your period so dismissively is the ignorant and offensive part
20YearSoul to them, they can only speak on there situation. They also said some women have really terrible periods and should seek medical attention. But y’all have selective hearing and that’s your problem 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Adrienne is the type to say ‘my friend/ i know someone’ but be talking about herself.. remember the story about ‘her friend’ who climbed a vent or something to bust her man cheating but it turns out she was talking about herself and Tamar called her out?😂 crazy girl
chris s she said she doesnt really have a period on her yt channel. It lasts like 3 days and she barely bleeds and doesnt really feel like she gets a period. Could be a reason why she cant get pregnant
You guys, you really need to be aware that you are BLESSED if you have a manageable period! If your period is light or normal, just be quiet. I have a heavy period and my sister gets terrible cramps. I got on birth control just so I didnt have to change my tampon AND PAD that I wear underneath every HOUR. like, c'mon, this is a case by case basis. Everyones period is completely different.
Yup everyone is different! I went on birth control because I had terrible terrible cramps that were sometimes unbearable!! Some girls said that cramps will go away once you’re on the pill.... Not for me though....the cramps went down to a 3 instead of a 10
my period is so bad I physically can not move, I’ll stay in the same curling position for hours unless I NEED to do something. Adrienne stating “after years of having it why you can’t manage it.” If you break your arm or have an terminal illness, your body still reacts the same way or you feel the same pain every time. Pain is pain, it doesn’t magically get better the more you have/do it
Why is this even a topic up for debate? 🙃 Your body, your choice. You are never obligated to go on a date, especially when you are feeling unwell. Period. 😂
What Im saying , How is that even a question. This was truly insensitive too you dont have to have a disorder. Doesn't matter the amount of years you can never really get use to it. Maybe some can but not all of us.
🤣😂 As soon as I read the title I thought, It's okay to leave a date whenever you feel like it, with no explanation at all! "I'm sorry, but I gotta go"✌
Adrienne: I don’t want to sound insensitive Then proceeds to sound insensitive. These medical issues they are talking about is pretty common. 1/2 of women who get periods have symptoms and within that number many have serve symptoms. Periods are physically and mental disabilities sometimes for some women. It’s something that needs to be spoken on more and accepted. I hate when my girlfriends who don’t have bad periods tell me how to handle mine. Lucky you if you’re not curled in the corner with a hot water bottle, but that’s my experience. I legitimately make sure I’m off work during my first 2 days, and when I was younger I called off school. So if I have a date that day I’m 100% cancelling.
Have yall ever noticed Adrienne says shes a girls girl.. but she so is NOT, she never defends women and she always throws her girlfriends under the bus.. she just pretends 😑
Dee S I don’t think she is pretending. I think Adrienne is the type to assume her situations are universal, and sometimes speaks before she thinks. Maybe in her circle she’s the most relatable friend or something. Idk I love all the girls because I think they genuinely want to hear others sides of things, but occasionally struggles with communicating that🤷🏽♀️
@@candicecutchin6367 i personally think she pretends to be a girls girl to seem so secure with herself, but your words and actions are saying otherwise. Jeannie also does it. Tamera and Loni are pretty real
It’s so easy for them to say that when they don’t experience INTENSE pain... I literally throw up throughout the day, can’t walk, have to keep changing every 30mins and etc smh.... they’re truly lucky to not have experienced the potential of period pains smh. Lucky
Also, not all of us get cramps every month, so it's not like we can tell the date ahead of time to cancel because sometimes I have months where I don't have terrible cramps to where I feel sick.
@@gaila.9852 Oh I know, I was just responding to something one of them said, about maybe letting them know in advance because we have our periods the same time every month. Clearly they don't have occasional deadly cramps that come out of no where 😂
THIS. There was one year my period just got crazy. It was frustrating because for 10 years, I always had a regular and fairly consistent period with manageable cramps. This was my experience up until a few months before my 21st bday and my period just got crazy. I went from having mild cramps to the most intense severe cramps that were so bad I would puke or couldnt get off the floor. I went to a doctor and everything but no medical issue came up so I don't agree with what Loni said.
@@bossytweed6664 Exactly. That's why I posted this. Cuz sometimes it's just random. I was blessed not to have nightmare cramps, just normal ones once in awhile. But I remember a longgg time ago in middle school i had one that was so bad during pe, & the fact that I remember that says something lol. Then it didn't happen for years until later on in hs where I had a horrible one during thanksgiving. Now once in awhile I get them, sometimes more than others. This past month luckily wasn't bad! Only the usual stuff but nothing crippling lol. The women who speak this way need to understand that we are not all the same, & that it is a real thing. I get where they are coming from because I used to almost wonder if people were over dramatizing because mine weren't like that. Good to get the word out there lol. (sorry this is long, have a lot of extra time self isolating lol)
14Karat I agree 100%. Its very frustrating that in 2020 women are still so ignorant to women's health. Abour 10 or so years ago I came across an interactive app called PinkPad and I learned so much from so many different women around the world. I learned there that no 2 women are the same when it comes to our feminine health so I hate when other women act as such. Now with social media being such a big platform to be interactive with each other, you'd think women especially at these women's age would learn this by now. It's very disappointing.
Tamara while looking at Adrienne over her tea cup: “you nasty! “ 😂 I can’t. But in another note don’t compare your period with someone else’s. Everyone is different. Some lucky women have it easy and many others don’t so be compassionate and understanding.
I’m bailing! My cramps are sooooooooooooooooo bad, and I always throw up on my period! I hate to walk, talk, move or breathe! I stay home from school whenever I’m on my period so I’m most definitely not about to get up to go my ass on a date!
These girls HOW old don’t realize everyones periods can be different from them. There doesn’t even have to be a “medical” condition. Some just have REALLY bad PAINFUL periods and you can empathize with that. Theres a difference on missing work & or meetings though if you are just uncomfortable from period maybe not a great excuse but being in PAIN most definitely is. However a date is subjective and doesnt even need a “excuse” if your not in the mood. In short, I felt loni was the best spoken one here..
Easier said that done for you Lonie... My period is so bad it sends pain to my foot that affects me from even moving... Y'all don't really understand the type of pain some of us feel... Nothing funny about some of us cramp...
Everyone is different, I had to go to the doctor for the amount of pain I feel every month. I went through high school thinking things were normal and it wasn't. Some comments that were said were very insensitive and ignorant. Get the facts before you guys speak on certain things
I know how my period is, so I would reschedule. I've never been the happy girl in the period commercial. I've been a heavy flower from day one. Until I got overnight pads (which I wear for my whole cycle), tampons & later the menstrual cup, I couldn't function. I was running to the bathroom constantly to change. My period used to be so bad, I had to sit on the toilet. Once I started birth control at 19, it regulated my cycles, but it's still heavy. I can go through a box & a half of pads on one cycle if I don't use tampons. Periods are no joke. I know Adrienne didn't mean to sound dismissive, but until you have period related problems & pain, you don't understand. I've had benign cysts & spots of endometriosis that had to be surgically removed so I could function. The pain I went through before I was diagnosed was indescribable. I thought my appendix burst & my mom took me to the ER because I was screaming in pain. I constantly monitor myself to make sure I don't have a reoccurring problem.
I've had some cramps where I can't even work they are so bad. So of course if it's actually that bad, it's totally understandable. Plus no one feels sexy when they are on their period with cramps on a first date.
14Karat Facts & Bloated & Having To Poo Every Few Hours , The Headaches , Being Hunched Over To Walk ..I’m Convinced They Don’t Actually Have Bad Cramps
@@brinaechanel4236 yes girl 👏 They clearely don't know about crippling cramps. Good for them though. Hopefully they never experience them. Us women are strong just to go through semi pain ones, but they don't know the ones with actual crippling, pain.
14Karat Yoo & You Know What ? I Watched Some Videos Of Women Who Shared Their Experience After They Gave Birth & I’m Definitely Going To Have To Mentally Prepare For A Few Years First Lmboo
@@brinaechanel4236 I have given birth and it was way worse than I thought it was going to be lol. But your experience might not be that bad. Everyone has a different experience so you might have a good one. It's good to be prepared though just in case lol.
It's a date. I reschedule and take my time. It's either let me have my time off or I'll go and have a bad attitude and be annoyed with everything you do. It's a couple days. You'll be fine.
Women who haven’t experienced severe symptoms really can’t speak for how other women should handle it. I say this as someone who has had regular periods. My bestie gets debilitating ones.
I started my period on a first date. Light colored jeans, no tampons in the bathroom and my purse was in the car...blocks away. I started to panic a little because it was after an event and the place had cleared out -- not a lot of girls that might come to my rescue. There was nothing in the bathroom...not even toilet paper. After a few minutes a girl came in the bathroom and saved the day, well, night. lol.
What is wrong even if a girl says “hey I’m on my period I don’t feel well so I won’t be able to make it for our date” why did all four of them make that sound villainous? If you weren’t feeling well because of a fever, you’d not hesitate to say it, so why this? Menstrual pain isn’t something that should only be discussed hush hush with women, men should be aware of it too so that they can be ducking sensitive about it. Loni, your being quiet about your period is probably the reason that men have used it against women, cuz they don’t simply understand cuz people like you will never discuss it with them. This was so sad to watch. My guy friends know just as much about my period pain as my girlfriends and honestly they understand it quite well. And Adrienne is literacy always so confused, like she first says that she asks her 36 year old friends to get it together about their period pain and then goes on to say women shame other women about their periods? 🤦🏽♀️
Also, I am a doctor, some menstrual pain, despite having no other medical conditions like endometriosis or fibroids etc is horrible to endure. It varies from person to person, just because your pain is bearable for you doesn’t make it psychological for everyone else suffering through period pain. Pms is a medical condition, and so is dysmenorrhea, painful period. It doesn’t always have to do with having endometriosis or other conditions. Some people can ply sports while on their periods others can’t step out of their beds, yall women need to stop shaming other women for taking care of themselves, it kinda sounded like the “be a man” we’ve been hearing for decades
Adrienne : *iM nOt tRyInG tO SoUnD iNsEnSItiVe* **sounds VERY insensitive the ENTIRE time.** Your body, your rules. Simple. If he can't understand you're in serious pain then goodbye to him. A real man is going to be okay with it and maybe even come at your house with some stuff to help and just comfort you. 🤷🏽♀️
This was insensitive. I get that everyone's different and the ladies talked about their mood swings during their periods on the Real. I don't have that but I won't judge them for it. What I do have is that I get in such pain that I throw up and painkillers won't work when you're in such pain. Adrienne I'm 31 and the reason why I haven't figured it out yet is because when I go to the doctor I always got dismissed since I was a teen. Telling me pain and other problems I have during my period are normal. Now finally after years I have an appointment to look further into it but it's probably gonna be cancelled because of the corona outbreak. Please understand that a lot of women get dismissed with their problems. I would love to have everything together at 31 and not be in pain anymore but sadly it's not possible. I don't know if there's anything medical behind it. Please understand we don't always have a medical diagnoses but that doesn't mean it isn't real.
Ivy I would go to a different doctor. I’m 36 & this is the 3rd time I’ve had large fibroids. This time I’m going to get a partial hysterectomy instead of having the fibroids remove. They cause me extreme pain the day before, 1st & 2nd day of my period. So heavy that I have to change every 30 mins to & hour. Cramps are so painful that I have to pop 3-4 pills every 3 hours max. I’m worried that I’m doing serious damage to my kidneys. I’m so glad my doctor listens to me. She’s put me on a stronger medication that’s not addicting. That will hold me over until they give me a date for my surgery.
HEEELLL YEEESSS! I especially do that for my classes at university. I'm sorry but if I have really bad cramps I'm just going to stay in my room eating Oreos with a heatpad.
I heard that eating sugary, sweet food during period intensifies the pain. I've tried to avoid sugary food a bit before and during my monthly period, and I've noticed a significant change in the intensity of the pain I felt.
Some people have awful periods. Some people have periods where you dont even have cramps but your vagina is constantly hurting and you can't WALK. If you don't want to go on the date, don't go.
Haven’t been diagnosed with anything yet and doctors aren’t concerned, but I get severe cramps and have to cancel everything for it. I had my wisdom teeth out without taking pain meds after, and cramps are much more painful. Aleve and a heating pad on the highest heat are the only things that work. And Aleve messed up my stomach so I stopped taking it. Unless you want me to throw up, be unable to focus or sit still from pain, and go to the bathroom every 5 minutes bc diarrhea, I’m going to cancel.
I agree with Loni. If it's possible to manage, go out and enjoy yourself! If you're uncomfortable, try to cancel in advance. But yeah, your period shouldn't ruin your life.
Blue Gracious Skies Your Pain Tolerance May Be Different Than Others & It’s Two Different Things To “Enjoy” Yourself Rather Than Going Out Because You Have To. Health Is Wealth For Me So I Prioritize My Well Being Over Some Cash. I’m Not Going To Go Out & Get Ready For A Job I Won’t Be Productive In Just To Be Sent Home, It’s A Waste Of Time From My Experience . I’m Also Not Going To Meet Some Guy I Don’t Know Just To Be Thinking About If I’m Leaking, My Headache , Cramps , Pimples, What Food I Can’t Eat , Vomiting , Bloating Etc Which Would Defeat The Purpose Of The Date(Getting To Know The Other) , If I Can’t Give My Undivided Attention Because I’m Distracted By Pain ...I Don’t See The Point But That’s Just Me 🤷🏽♀️

Ya’ll must have some super easy blessed periods. Personally my period has only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. I am 29 now and on top of the extreme cramps and period diarrhea (sorry) I now experience a lot of anxiety in the days leading up to my period. I still try to continue my life as normal and I don’t miss work, but when you are going on a date you want to put your best foot forward, and if I don’t even feel like myself I can’t do that.
This is crazy if you ask me. As a person who has endometriosis who almost died twice and needed surgery, being told to pop a motrin or midol wouldn't have improved my situation in the least. Having grown two tumors the size of a grapefruit and the first time I became septic all because I went years undiagnosed. I hate hearing the statement that "you've had your period for years, you should know how to deal with it." Guess what, I went through 15 different gynecologists and finally found one that listened to me about the severe pain I was going through. I suggest that you educate yourselves on the topic before making fun of others. Have some empathy and try not to drag others down because not everyone has had the same experience as you.
@@rtt4792 thank you. I wish I could say I remember a lot about that first surgery, but to be honest that is a two week hospital stay, that my husband has had to tell me about. I know maybe I ranted ,but its because something some people find ridiculous really almost took my life. Twice. I am in my doctor's office with scheduled ultrasounds every 3 months because of all of the complications and how chronic my condition is. Funny thing is had my first doctor listened to me, it could have been prevented. Those insensitive comments just struck a nerve with me and its actually disappointing to me because I love the show.
I'm a guy and I would most definitely be ok if she left the date because of her period. I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable in a public place. I'm sure you would rather go through it at home. The thing I don't like about this conversation is that Loni has to bring up men stereotyping women. This is not about that. This is about women leaving a date or not showing up because of your period.
It depends on how bad your period is. I have friends with dysmenorrhea and endometriosis who have very painful periods, and have to take days off of work at that time of the month. I'm talking about vomiting and being doubled over in pain even after taking heavy doses of medication. And even if you don't have debilitating periods and you just don't want to be on a date on your period, just reschedule. Ain't no shame in it.
This was insensitive af!!! Not everybody has the same level of pain tolerance! I know of someone who’s literally ALLERGIC to pain meds so she has to fight thru the pain every month. And it’s not just about pain, there’s so much more to consider - the fatigue, the bloating, the possibility of leaking etc., can hinder a woman from being COMFORTABLE on a date. Y’all are so out of touch it’s ANNOYING at this point.
What’s not gonna happen is my date telling ME what to do! It’s my body and as far as I’m concerned I’m “sick”! I don’t want blood coming out of me while I’m flirting and eating! Ugh ugh!
Sometimes it's not about pain but flow if your flow is outrageous and the date falls on your heaviest day...you have to do what's best for you... P.s. Loni if Midol worked for your symptoms they weren't that bad...
JUST BECAUSE WE HAVE THEM EVERY MONTH FOR MANY YEARS DOESN’T MAKE IT ANY LESS OF A BURDEN. I don’t care how many times in my life I’ve had cramps, guess what? They still hurt!
I remember one time my teacher(high school) found me balled up on the floor in the bathroom, I was in so much pain and every time they gave me water and medicine I would throw up less than 5 minutes later. It’s really hard for some of us. I don’t eat for the first 24-36 hours because I’ll just end up throwing it up. My doctor only gave me 2 solutions, since I was so young, 800mg ibuprofen or birth control and I’ve learned that my body doesn’t react well to birth control. The best solution for me is sleep but it’s hard to find a comfortable position when your cramping... Always end up with my top half hanging off the side of my bed.
I get worried sometimes because Adrienne talks a lot about not knowing about ovulation and stuff lol. Like idk I’m like tamera - I KNOW and am aware when I’m ovulating and I know the difference in feelings.
Raayden I do too because she’s trying to have a baby rn. Hopefully this conversation has made he more incline to learn about differences with periods and ovulation
@@candicecutchin6367 I was going to say the exact same thing. Considering how she's been talking about how she's trying to conceive you'd think she'd be more aware of how her anatomy functions
Let’s be honest. Adrienne is a dummy. I haven’t heard her say many insightful things on this show. She’s a nice girl but she ain’t got it all up there.
@@Jasminemarie94 lol it's so true. Like when she's says she loves to read, I roll my eyes 😂 She barely remembers basic words and she doesn't have the ability to see other people's side of the argument

Of course it's okay to bail on a date 'coz you've got your period. You don't need to give a full reason of TMI to the guy, and if you can, try and reschedule the date for another time. A nice guy will totally understand and wait.
Just because your period isn’t bad doesn’t mean it’s that way for others. Sometimes it’s not even about pain, it could be how heavy your flow is that’s the issue. And if we’re being completely honest, there are some women out there who maybe can’t afford feminine products. You would think these ladies would know that. And what does being a millennial have to do with anything in this conversation???
I personally always feel like crap (cramps, tired, sometimes nauseous) when I’m on my period, so I definitely understand cancelling/rescheduling a date. Sidenote: Tamera always looks so pretty! I love that hairstyle
And let's not mention those of us who have very HEAVY periods. The embarrassment of an accident while on a date ain't cool. I don't want to be sitting there thinking if I stand up with there be a spot behind me. So no, date would be cancelled until Aunt Florene has carried her ass on.
Oh HeLl no! I will not go on a date during my period even with Advil, I’d rather deal with it in peace than go on the date wanting the date to be over. Why does it have to be medical reasons only?! if you don’t or can’t go then don’t go, I’ve missed work because of it & like they said it’s only once a month anyways so🤷🏼♀️
My cycles were so debilitating for me, it was insane. There were days when I couldn't even get out of bed, let alone stand or sit up right for a while. My appetite was gone even though I knew I should have been hungry. Hot flashes, insane cramps, nausea, vomiting, etc. I'll never forget one time when the symptoms were so bad that I couldn't sit for an exam freshman year of college. And I took ibuprofen before I left the house, too. Didn't work. I had to leave the exam early because it was just that bad for me. I was so mad at my body for doing that to me on exam day. I've been to the doctor's multiple times for this. Birth control medication has helped me tremendously. It lowers my symptoms immensely and allows me to go about my life as usual. This period thing is really serious. Sometimes, it puts your life on hold involuntarily until it passes. Only then, can you go back to normalcy.
personally, I feel like we shouldn't say it comes once a month. It comes for 3-7 days a month. That's up to 1/4 of each month. Saying it comes once a month downplays the inconvenience that it puts a lot of women in
People go in hard when it comes to Adrienne, but she's on the table for a reason. She doesn't have to share the same opinion of her Co hosts. Trust theres a woman out there who agrees with her and she's representing that woman. Granted, I'm not that woman, but u guys are just hard on her.
Personally I think if you have not experienced extreme period pain then you shouldn’t talk on it. Clearly none of you have not fainted from pain and it’s not something we can control. It’s horrid when other women dismiss something another woman is going through just because you ain’t experienced
Sometime this show has some of the most anti feminist views. Like I feel like I’m hearing women in their 60s talk. These archaic opinions on women’s issues are annoying. Ain’t no D worth me being uncomfortable.
I have extreme nausea when I’m on my period plus I have no appetite so I would definitely bail. Loni saying “if it’s not medical” made me say the loudest STFU because there are plenty of women with non medical issues that deal with a lot when they’re on their periods. There are ppl who take Advil,Ibuprofen,Tylenol or whatever and that doesn’t even help the cramps.
Some women are hell bent on not “being like other women”. Cancelling because you’re on your period and it causes you discomfort IS a valid excuse.
yea, people can't seem to have empathy unless its directly in their world.

Lou Lou Right my period is super heavy so I get anemic, extremely fatigued, light headed, nauseous, and I don’t have any medical condition.
me!! i thought i have endometriosis too bc my bad periods but nope
A lot of women think they don't have medical problems when they do though. Health care is a joke when it comes to women's reproductive problems. You either get dismissed with a 'it's normal' or the pill. If it's really that bad you should see a specialist with good reviews
leal this is very true.
elle19ism I agree with you I personally have fainted multiple times on my period with severe pains .Its completely unique to each person

For us pad wearers, it can be miserable going to the bathroom so regularly and you're trying to be out and have a good time.
That used to happen to me until I went on the pill. CHANGED MY LIFE! Now I can actually do things when I'm on my period and it's lighter too.

Whoever is reading this may you find true joy and happiness even in the midst of these evil days and hard times. Peace be upon you
I know how my period is, so I would reschedule.

Women who haven’t experienced severe symptoms really can’t speak for how other women should handle it. I say this as someone who has had regular periods. My bestie gets debilitating ones.
I think it’s ok. Sometimes you don’t feel like being bothered. I asked my man and he said 99 percent of men understand
When my monthly gift is visiting me, leave me alone and don't bother me.
Damn y’all, we have four invincible superwomen on the table with (apparently) the exact same uterus speaking for all of ours. Crazy.

Being on your period should be classified as a medical condition period. It's horrible, I feel like my body's trying to kill me everytime I get cramps

Unless you want me to throw up, be unable to focus or sit still from pain, and go to the bathroom every 5 minutes bc diarrhea, I’m going to cancel.
same here
I agree with Loni. If it's possible to manage, go out and enjoy yourself! If you're uncomfortable, try to cancel in advance. But yeah, your period shouldn't ruin your life.

It's a pointless discussion, if you don't feel well or even mentally not up to, don't go on a date, nobody will force you either.
Amen! I’m so sorry you had to go through that.
I’m a guy and never been on a date. Bur I’m still watching this 😂
This was insensitive af!!!
How about free will and you can do whatever the hell you want? You’re not obligated to anyone who would choose a date over their own comfort
Chile painkillers don’t be working for me. Especially on the first day! I’m still trying to figure it out.
What’s not gonna happen is my date telling ME what to do! It’s my body and as far as I’m concerned I’m “sick”! I don’t want blood coming out of me while I’m flirting and eating! Ugh ugh!
Loni yawning at 0:35 is a MOOD!! 😭
😂😂😂😂😂 I didn’t even see that before 😂😂😂
😂😂
None of us want our periods to control us once per month. But some people have crippling cramps and nausea and vomiting.
Cramps can hurt really bad, I wouldn't be in the mood to go on a date!
You basically get the pregnancy symptoms when you on your period. Lord it hurts and its the worst.
I had endometriosis and it was so bad that I had to have a hysterectomy and have my uterus removed. So yeah, it's a medical thing.
I agree with Adrienne. If it’s not medical, your period should absolutely not stop your life.
You know when Adrienne says ‘ my girlfriends say this’ or if she says ‘ other people may say’ you know it’s her😩 girl just own it!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
when tamera went “you nasty” to adrienne LMAOOOOO i lost it
I get worried sometimes because Adrienne talks a lot about not knowing about ovulation and stuff lol.
Like when she's says she loves to read, I roll my eyes 😂 She barely remembers basic words and she doesn't have the ability to see other people's side of the argument
xXxbaxroxXx omg. I’m really trying to not be mean but I was surprised when she said she reads too. I be like what books you reading? Are you doing it to impress ppl or are you really retaining the info?
Adrienne's earrings are so gorgeous!! (adds to shopping list)
To be honest when I’m on my period I’m more sensitive and I prefer to stay home And avoid people bc I’m in my feelings! 🥴😂😂
Omg yesss i dont have any physical pain but damn i can kill someone and feel like crying randomly lmao
Loni is so old school, with her suck it up and continue with your day approach 😂
Why does it have to be medical reasons only?! if you don’t or can’t go then don’t go, I’ve missed work because of it & like they said it’s only once a month anyways so🤷🏼♀️
Adrienne is always looking bomb af i love her outfit
Which pill did you choose?
I like that these girls dont paint men in a bad light
Imagine a new guy you’re dating having the audacity to ask if you’re on your period before the date!
I would because I’d be scared to soil myself. And I’m not even that heavy. I just don’t want to embarrass myself in front of a date.
S/o to all of the women who are dealing with adenomyosis and endometriosis 🖤
Fytb I’m ready to have conversations with Jesus when my first day cramps hit , im canceling!! Don’t nobody wanna sit there flowing in a date
Good because i dont like being around people when i am on my period😂
personally, I feel like we shouldn't say it comes once a month. It comes for 3-7 days a month. That's up to 1/4 of each month. Saying it comes once a month downplays the inconvenience that it puts a lot of women in
My period time is my time.
People go in hard when it comes to Adrienne, but she's on the table for a reason. She doesn't have to share the same opinion of her Co hosts. Trust theres a woman out there who agrees with her and she's representing that woman. Granted, I'm not that woman, but u guys are just hard on her.
Tameras skin looks so soft and lovely
It's been so refreshing just to see the four ladies and Lonis positive attitude 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Having a child healed my horrible periods thank goodness
Yes! I’m so thankful I’m better now 4 years ago I had my son. 4 years of peaceful periods!!!!
@Aaliye S my mom too
Personally I think if you have not experienced extreme period pain then you shouldn’t talk on it.
It depends first couple of days no no no, but towards the end of my cycle I’m all down for a date
