Noticed that too and I 100% agree with you.. However, I don't think the light gun emulation has been really implemented well into pcsx2 yet, last time I checked.. I could be wrong though...

@@IamLegend32 The PS2 light gun games work fine for me. You might not have yours set properly.
@@MrSilksoul thanks for your reply. Do you have a link to a tutorial? The last time I checked, which has been a while, the light guns on pcsx requires you to use your mouse pointer as the crosshair. Are there better ways to set it up?
@@IamLegend32 hi, zou can hide the mouse pointer, there is an option for that on the emulator
Hooooollllyyyy shhhht it has all of the Wii games!! I just needed somewhere to play those hard to find arcade games like Silent Hill, Aliens, Transformers and Jurassic Park, but that's an awesome bonus. Funny enough I do have my Wii and physical boxed copies of many of those games, even Cabela's Dangerous Hunts with the shotgun.

Drew does half the games either not load or have choppy audio? Duckhunt for example will not play correct on either of my 2 game rigs. Can you check duck hunt?
Hey guy I got the gun in the mail last week and I downloaded with pack. But I can rent my gun to work. It works at setup but not with the games.
Hey Drew when you set Sinden up with coinops can you set borders for individual games or does every game regardless of genre have to have the border to keep the light guns ready to play at any given moment. Say my wife plays pacman but then i go to terminator, do i have to cut them on every time and do some config for that emulator? (Sorry for the repeat)
star wars for the atari would of been a great addition and the new house of the dead game from the arcades!
Hi Drew, did you find that the AM2 cabinets like Virtua Cop wouldn't quit out to the menu when you hit the required button combinations? I had to set my mouse to perform an exit to desktop so I could close it via the taskbar. Kinda annoying. Also, is that arcade Time Crisis at the end of the video?
Curious as to why these arcade packs always leave it out Time Crisis 2 and 3?!

I would sure like to know how this guy got this build working. I have the Sinden software running with boarders up and the gun does not work inside this build. Anyone have any luck on what else is required to get the sinden gun working inside this build? I can't find any settings to even access. Hey Drew, if you could offer any insight I'd really appreciate it!
Same problem here. This build does NOT work with Sinden light guns and he doesn't adequately explain how to set his up.

@@steveschemel6369 same, its been a month that i have been configuring all emulators, adding new games ,virtuacop 3 all ps3 and ps2 rail shoters, but im having such an hard time to get everything working. sometimes i finish the configuration of one emulator, 2 dazs after something is not working properly....

Many thanks for the video Drew, what would be the minimum PC requirements to run all of these games smoothly (especially the Tecknoparot stuff)? Any suggestions for a budget off the shelf, all in 1 mini pc that could do it?
best option is to build one based on somethink like : A small 7 Litre Silverstone Milo case, i5 10400f CPU, GTX 1650 GPU (Low profile version), Kolink 450w SFZ PSU, 16GB cheap DDR4 ram, and SSD .....

GUN4IR light gun not detected. CoinOPS does not response to both the aiming and button/trigger from my GUN4IR light gun at all. Shutting down CoinOPS will see pointer movement by the light gun. Any advice how to resolve this? Thanks a lot!

No matter what I do I can’t access games from the wheel, honestly if it wasn’t for finding the exe. Files for the teknoparrot stuff I wouldn’t have played anything, none the less I’m still thankful for that but for some reason the build is called sindon coin ops build and sindon doesn’t work through the front end
Have you figured out how to use it with sinden gun? As im furious, the gun is just GunMouse for me, an expensive one!!

What keyboard buttons back you out of the games running from retroarch? I dont know what the backout hot keys are.

hello. I enjoyed your video. I'm envious of playing a really cool gun shooting game. Impressed by your video, I bought a sinden light gun and installed it on my computer.
I downloaded the gun shooting game "CoinOPS Next 2 - The Arch's Light Gun Build" and installed it on my computer. After running CoinOPS Next 2, Mame game confirmed that the sinden light gun works well after setting the key value by pressing the TAB key. By the way, here wii , ps1. ps2, demul, teknoparrot games do not know how to connect to the sinden light gun, so the game cannot be progressed.
Do I have to set each game individually to set the sinden light gun?
I am so confused as to what to do.

if you have an ALU v1.0, and not 1.1, there are sauces for the cabinet that will allow some of these games (not teknoparrot, but most other consoles). Best bet would be to a dedicated PC to the cabinet.

Hey Drew, thanks for the video. I've gotten most working but cant get any of the games running off retroarch linked with the gun. I enabled light gun in general settings and set to guncon. I'm able to assign the buttons, in lightgun, but says N/A still for some reeason. Any help would be appreciated.

I can add to this......I am using dell 3464 ,24in monitor .Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.71 GHz win 10.having no issues running this ....
it is a great pack.... but still need to configuer almost every emulator better take your time once you download the pack :) technoparrot model 2 and 3 are the easy ones to configure

Strange question but can you get this build and then extract the games out you want/ remove ones you don’t want?
Yes, it's a little complicated to add and remove games but it is doable.
This definitely isn’t plug and play. Cannot figure out how to get aimtrak to work with retroarch at all. Cannot map button either
Help please got my aimtrak yesterday downloaded this huge file the gun works on desktop and the left red button shoots but can't figure out the aiming or trigger been trying all day

sure at the end is just runing the regular emmulators, maybe you need to change few parameters directly to the emulator but sure it will work.
basically the same as sinden lightgun, I downloaded the pack and need to make few changes for controls paths etcetc

@@totophi I gather that Drew meant an original Wii Remote (or Wii Remote Plus) controller used on the PC with a USB sensor bar, or an Ultimarc Aimtrak light gun. The Sinden light gun is another option.

Technically yes but some visual things and pathing may need adjustment
@@drewtalks Thank you for showcasing this build, one issue i noticed that this build has alot of unused files in, specially roms and video clips which takes even more space.. i ended up using the gun roms and pre configured emulators to imbedded them into my build... so far, working great.. just needed alot of txt file editing to make it work

Can't get any of the games to work they all say it's missing dll's and missing other crap or they minimize the program and start over
using this with a wii mote and dolphin bar the wii mote doesnt feel acurate how do i calibrate it ?
How did you make it work with the Wii mote?
this includes the racing games in the racing game pack, which is why it is so big. pretty sloppy

I can't get my pro to detect my aimtrak at all and in mame the buttons only work half the time and the trigger won't work at all haha
Very awesome build...sadly good light guns for modern screen are very expansive.
Wiimote and a $30 Mayflash sensor bar and you are good to go

You want to open the emulator settings you might be able to do it by hitting windows key when the game is open because the emulator is open at the same time and go in that way or go to the main directory and go to the emulator folder and open it there to configure....if your using an Xbox controller it should be all set up already .
