- In this video, I put the Power Acoustik subwoofer to the ultimate test. Priced at just $89, this subwoofer claims to pack a punch, but can it handle the power? I hooked it up to a 3000 watt amp to see just how much bass it could handle. Join me as I push this budget-friendly Walmart subwoofer to its limits and find out if it's worth the hype. Bro I agree that lasted way longer than I thought it would gotta give it a little props after that lbs
true
I blew one of these playing noise by bassnectar there was so much smoke I thought my box caught on fire how much watts is that amp
Those Walmart sub are actually Tough
Lasted longer than I thought
Yes I actually love Walmart sub there cheap and actually sometimes good a last forever if you take care of them
I blew 2 of them the voice coal broke on both amp was lowered for lows
LMAO, you dont even wire it so its outside the car? Have you ever discharged a fire extinguisher? you will be cleaning baking soda out your car for years to come....
Worth it. Normallyy the sub doesn’t catch on fire but the amp could
I smell it from here!! I smoked a couple about 6 months ago. Good subs for the money but dont run over 650 to them for very long or byebye...
FOR REAL
Many times I've heard about them.
Id be curious to see one of the American bass subs in the same enclosure at max volume. It's possible to blow any sub with dirty power (clip it to death)
your right. The American bass would probably blow too. But i believe that would last longer. but if its 3000 watts clean power i think it could last 2 minutes.
Sheesh…lol.
Yes i experimented with this sub on my audiopipe 1500. Even inverting the sub at 2 ohms it didnt take long for it to start stinking badly on a heavy bass song...DJ Fury Neverending Bass. I thought it was my mids at first...Nope!
It’s the sub. This sub is realistically rated for 500-600 rms
@@ZacheckerYeah that sounds about right.
Try a red stitched gravity sub. Same price and they take a beating.
Which one? The 89 or 119$
G3 or g5
Sick sub I had 1in 2018 on razor 2500 similar sized sealed box
Yessir it withstand a beating for a while
Hey also get a ported box. it will be the biggest difference you will see
Nice one
appreciate it
Would have lasted longer on a cris cross parallel wiring.
You mean series? And that would bump the ohm load to 4ohm. The point of the video it’s to put all I got to that sub
@@Zachecker
No just move your negative wire to the other voice coil and leave everything else the same it’s still 2 Ohm.
@@JamesDees-q4t ur gonna have explain a little more .
@@Zachecker
Your inputs go to opposite voice coils + to + and - to -. Then your jumpers go from on voice coil to the other + to + and - to - ! Otherwise one voice coil will burn not both!
@@JamesDees-q4t it would of died just as quick
I have 2 on a pa 8000 and it sounds great I just can't turn up the amp
Is the Amplifier still good tho?
Yeah taramps are pretty reliable it would go into protect mode if there was too much current at one time. But yeah amps all good
