- Best feeling setup in a long time! My first Baker board ever. So nice and flat! Very maneuverable and fun. Perfect shape! Snappy pop and perfect with Thunders.

Same board and trucks with bones wheels 52mm for 29mm width, a little slimmer, they fit well
Really good setup! Right now I ride baker 8.25 with forged Indy 144.
My favourite set up Baker 8.25 and Thunder light 148. I use spitfire classic for faster flip tricks and I'm not skating transitions much right now, used to skate the conicals.

@@SverkerLoding I’ve been skating Thunder 149s on an 8.25. I wanted to give Ace AF1s a try but don’t know if I should go with 44 or 55?
Hmm hard question… since I skate 148 I would go with 44.
But then again they might feel very unstable if your used to 149. I have tried the 55s on a friends board and they turn very nice

Haha jag veet inte! Thunder ena dagen och indy andra. Skulle nog ändå säga Thunder för det mesta. Du då? Hur gick det med film?
@@SverkerLoding Som regel brukar jag köra varannan Indy och Thunder. Sen har jag haft perioder när jag testat en massa. Mina Film var sådär. Kingpinen blev en aning lös och innan jag orkat möta upp Tom för att få nya hade jag tröttnat. Som sega Indys à la stage 10. Kanske för jag bytte till 8.75 som blev riktigt gött med mina nästan döda 159:or. Hade tänkt köpa ett par Thunder när de ger upp men är sugen på Lurpiv. Ace kan jag inte skata. De vill man ha lösa men då viker de sig och gör U-sväng när jag böjer mig för att poppa flippar. Funderat på Krux men de är så fruktansvärt fula. Testa ett par K4 seg sväng och kingpinen blev lös. Nya K5 ska svänga bättre dock

Should I get 148’s or 149s ?
They are pretty similar. Both really good but 148 a little more flipable and 149 a little more stable. And if you like seeing your wheels a little I’d go with 149. But… if you sometimes ride smaller than 8.25 definitely go with 148.

Hmm i think 53s work fine even though I ride pretty loose trucks. I get wheelbite sometimes but it doesn’t bother that much. I also like smaller wheels but the terrain outside here is pretty rough

Why? In theory that’s is a really good match? I usually end up with 149 and I’m not even sure why

How does it feel skating an 8.5 axle on an 8.25 board? Do the axles stick out on the side?
I like it sometimes. With thunders the board still feels light but a little more stable. Good for transition and smooth skateparks. When I’m into more flippy skateboarding or rough streets a little narrower truck feels more lively. 149 sticks out just a little bit on 8.25.
