Good job as a hobby, nice spot welding, but actually, it doesn’t make sense because an 8Ah battery from Parkside costs the same as the 15 cells you need to build this.
hi, Yes, it is possible and safe. He just added 2 cells in parallel to each of the original cells. Originally it had 5 cells connected in series (5s, 1p). Therefore, we had to add 10 more, leaving 15 cells in the end (5s, 3p) hope to be helpful cheers
Hi, great job :-) Could you give a link to the file stl. for 3D printing that blue or black solder tin holder you have in the video? Thank you very much. I subscribed to your videos 🙂
Fantastic job. Got all the pieces, weld all the batteries and everything seems to work OK. Used the new pack on the driller and on the new grinder. But It seems impossible to load the battery pack. The charger red light turn to green after a few seconds. I tried 2.4A, 3.5A and 4.5A parkside chargers. Any ideas what could have gone wrong?
One of the accumulators (actually one of the groups of 3 cells in parallel) is not charged correctly. BMS is not balanced (cell charge equalization) and therefore all batteries are not charged evenly. You should charge each group of 3 cells separately and check afterwards if the charging for entire battery pack works.
That crappie cheap plastic will only hold until first time you drop your tool. I have quite a few cracked and taped batteries and they all have a thicker plastic.
Also aus 4 Ah könnte man 6 Ah machen.
For me it's not charging to full potential...the bms still thinks it's 2ah, and it charges like thet is 2ah....you need bms for higher ah ...for me not working...
Hello from the creator of the STL file
Great video!!
Thanks for STL file. It's realy useful thing. good job
@@ARMTechHomemade please can you make one for me,i dont mind paying
@@MrGodsking where are you from ?
@@ARMTechHomemade can you send me the 3d printer files?
Hi! Can you please make one for 20 cells? 5s 4p
Wow What a good idea.
For me is 4 amp batteries more than enough. This is good for heavy machines such as a 20V circular saw.
The performance 8ah battery was 25 euro in the Belgium lidl recently. I got two of those, but this looks nice too
Ah nog een belg😅
25 euro... And on Poland its note less than 80:(
Nu weer 70 🥲
also in germany in december last year

Makes sense if all you have are broken batteries 😅
expensive cells
with this BMS its a bad balance .
Use a specifical BMS
Thanks .
good project but how is possible to use the BMS board of 2A battery to control new battery of 9A?

Exelente trabajó!
perfect video.
Can i use the 20v 2A charger for this setup?
Awesome job, thanks for sharing.
Bombaaaa
Nice video. Thank you brother 🙏
Hi, peso batteria 9ah... About the weight of 9ah battery? Regards saluti
Awesome work! 👌

Hello.
Thank you.

Does this board have bms, auto balancing cells?
No, only new model (and smart) batteries from Parkside have
did you try it under load. for grinder or something like that wich uses 4Ah? can it run havey load tools?
Yes of course, i use it with my every parkside tools, never have a problem.
Good work
Thanks for sharing
What are these welding probes?

Stl for the old parkside battery if you will update for new one will be amazing
you need to choose right type cells not any.. high current one.. not for laptop or similar.. they are not same..
i know. the parkside battery is 20A 2000mAh i shoose 30A 3300mAh battery. it's better
the initial battery pack is not the version with battery balancing, correct?
Yes, you're right, it's old no balancing version. For the moment there are no any problem.

Same problem here, do you fixed it? Thank you! Charger stop to charge at 19.5V
How much it is to make it that way ?

I'd never use such cells. Taking them out of the box and some are totally out of voltage is an indication that those are non high quality cells.
Pretty cool home made bomb.
Using the same BMS for a way larger battery, it's going to work for longer periods, believe in your self
I use it 1 years ago and i never got a problem.
Lavner!
Super projekt!
Very nice
harika
👏👏👏👍
Wow 🎉
Battery for parkside lifetime. Without charging it second time :D
👌👍

you drop your tools???
If I've dropped power tools 3 times in 20 years of work, that's a lot.
Nice ❤

i need a 20ah battery pack ❤😮
Warum macht man sowas?

Nice just add usb and a power meter just for good measure
Wheres these Bluetooth battery's at they still sell the crap ones 😂
Its 9,9Ah. He use pack 5S3P with 3300mah per cell that mean its 3x3300mah=9900mah, about ~20V and 0,2kWh
For me it's not charging to full potential...the bms still thinks it's 2ah, and it charges like thet is 2ah....you need bms for higher ah ...for me not working...
Bms doesnt calculate capacitt, it chatges batteries until they're at certain voltage
That is not how a bms works😂
@@emilehoffmann who do you answer?
Use the same BMS? Hahahha....
What's the problem ?
Absolutely no pb using same BMS because it take care of voltage, not intensity.
Voltage ? Same 20v what’s problem ? Bms amperage for the machine not for the battery
hahahahaahahh i have no knowledge so i just say things ahahhahhahhahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
It´s pretty cheaper to buy parkside 8ah pack
too bad you're forgetting not everyone has a 3d printer
