You were the first guitar tutor I learnt from on here back in 2012 and 2013 on Mahalo, this is amazing to see your mum's perspective and support; good luck on your journey Jensen ♥️

Thanks so much for so beautifully documenting your journey. The relationship to past self and the grief is such a complex thing to describe. And yes, there's so much inner manifestation that comes with the outer changes. So we "grow into our feet" both physically and emotionally/spiritually. Best wishes.

the love and grief for the old jennifer is beautiful. it is very familiar from the point of view of women who can’t achieve the perfection impressed on us by society. i’ve been on testosterone for short term treatment and i couldn’t believe the change, high energy, agitated, the temper... it makes me wonder, i’m a sloth.... with my “natural” hormones.... and my natural female cycle rules me emotionally.... to the point i medicate to control
pMDD to survive in this world.... gender is much more fluid for all of us than we realise... we get older, our bodies change... we are a bag of chemicals.

Like, allot of others, I loved your persona on mahalo guitar lessons etc. I first saw you and thought there's some one you love to listen to, in the teaching environment and furthermore continued to learn from you on both mahalo on your own chanel.
I have watched your journey and I'm so glad you have such a supportive mum!
Your gorgeous and talented either way but what your doing here giving realistic insight of this journey for you should be applauded.
You may not realise it but people watching this story of transition with you; & with such heartfelt honesty, is not only endearing, it is so helpful to others in this position.
I'm a sexologist too (lets not open that box haha) but I do think you should be so proud of yourself for giving such an open look at how it affects you in every way. This TH-cam platform reaches more than you know, some who may now find the courage for themselves; after your continuous open, sharing of your journey online. XXXX

Just sitting and rewatching this, I really dropped my jaw back when you first told it in one of your guitar sessions clips. But seriously, don't stop being you. You're awesome, Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. And most of all, don't let people's nasty talks get to you. brush it off. They don't know shit about life and what others goes through.
BTW, do you still have the olive coloured Strat? Maan I loved that colour.

Funny how much you look like our dad. Good to hear about your life over TH-cam. I appreciate your congratulations on your nieces birth 5 years ago. I hope your journey is going well. Now that you found yourself I hope you can express more kindness to the rest of your family. I wonder if you ever wonder how proud your dad is of you. He’s the one who helped you find your passion, by buying you your first guitar, after all....

You know her mum makes me feel that I wish my family was ok and close and normal and my own mum was alive to see me through my own journey of trying to go with through my own transition. I can identify with so much of what she is talking about.

Very happy that you have such an understanding mom. I can completely relate to the shaming part of "Jennifer". I can't transition, so I will always be in that state I think. I do wonder what you think is a good age to be able to transition? I have always wondered if I could have changed at a younger age would I? I think yes, but then again it's hard to know for sure because of my past.

I have such a crush on you Jen, i don't care in which body. You are just such a light, I start crying just thinking about your smile and spirit. Sorry to hear about you PTSD and the struggle of dealing with it, and all the hardships of transitioning. But man, I wish you the best. (Also, when I noticed your voice dropping, I was like uuuhhh sexy!!!)

Your Mom is so articulate in offering her insights. You both are. Serious question for Jensen: given how you identified as a boy since a young age, how did you develop such a cute girl identity (nicely manicured nails, hair, makeup, flirty personality, decolletage) in your Mahalo teaching video days, pre-transition? I mean, honestly, you were quite hot as a girl.

lose yourself and you get the chance to determine who you want to be and how your personality grows. (This is, what i learned when it comes to deep changes in live after the loss of a loved one, and with that, also a big part of me)
But most importantly, dear sir, i like your voice :)

It is a difficult journey your have gone through and more to come, but I am so happy for you that you have found the confidence to keep pushing towards your true self. Your mom is clearly a great support and I know there are other resources out there for you. Your growing confidence in yourself looks great on you. I wish all the best to you in your journey!
