I find myself intently watching every movement you make while pitching & unpitching your tent in every episode; you really have it down to an art form. For myself, I always gather 8 large heavy rocks to put on top of the tent stakes here in Northern Nevada U.S.A., then I go about pitching my Hilleberg Enan. Once I've pounded the stake into the ground I immediately place a heavy rock on top of it Your fuel canister - do you start off with FULL fuel canisters & if not, why not? Do you put your fuel canister inside your sleeping bag at night to keep it warm? Gotta love those COIL YKK zippers on Hilleberg tents & Western Mountaineering Sleeping bags. NO TEETH on those zippers to snag. I'll never experience the weather conditions you deal with, which is WHY I so enjoy watching & vicariously placing myself in your position. My Goosefeet brand of Down filled booties are also one of my favorite pieces of gear. My feet only need to warm the Down filled bootie interiors not the entire sleeping bag foot box. As long as my tootsies are warm, I know I"m going to get a good nights sleep.
