Hey there - thank you so buch for this video!!!! It worked so great for me and made many stickers!
BUT it suddenly stopped working and i have no idea WHY... i guess i kinda chenged a setting or.. idk what is happening :( do u maybe hav an idea whats wrong?
It's about the sticker frame/background that starts at 9:30.
you copy the layer, put brightness on max, blurr it, auto selct, invert and fill it with color.
And THIS doesnt work - esp the auto select.
When i auto select, parts of my art gets selected too (which shouldnt) or some dont (that they should. ...
then i put it up on 100% so the area of the art is all "unselected" and outer part blue als "selected"..
BUT if i put it on 100% and the area WOULD be correct... its not possible to invert... i either hav my white blurry art or the selected area.. and .. so the darkblue frame around the art doesnt appear.
IT DID WORK.... and suddenly it doesnt and i cannot figure out why.. bc it was literally one second to the next... and its driving me nuts :(
It was such an awesome trick and everything went so great.. and SUDDENLY.. nothing works and idk why...
I re-tried art i already made into sticker - and it doesnt work... so its not my art either...
THANKS FOR THIS VID AND YOUR HELP, greetings kaia!

It kind of sounds like you might have accidentally changed your selection threshold. When you do auto select and keep your stylus tip on the screen you can move it back and forth across the screen. (I’m not sure from your comment if that’s something you’re familiar with). Anyways, if you accidentally change the threshold you’ll select too much. And then you need to undo and go back and adjust the threshold again to about 7%. THEN- you need to back it out again and use auto select again. It’s like it needs to reset. I hope this solves your problem! If not, just let me know and we’ll try to drill down a little more. 👍🏻

I don't have pro create. How do I make the backing without this? 😊

You can do it in Cricut Design Space. Just add the text and a shape behind it and then flatten.

What size canvas do I use?

    • @WellCraftedStudio
      @WellCraftedStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

Sorry! Somehow I missed this. I often do the stickers each on their own canvas that’s 10” Square and 300 DPI. Then I’ll copy and paste each one on to a 6.75” x 9.25” canvas. That’s the largest Cricut’s print then cut goes. The reason I do the images on separate canvases now is that I’ve been using them for sublimation as well as stickers, and so I make them as big as I can print with with my sublimation printer.

Here’s the step-by-step post and I also have another video that gets really good comments on it. It’s a little older so I don’t have the color fill part but it’s mostly the same process. wellcraftedstudio.com/make-borders-for-stickers-super-fast-procreate/

Hi! I actually did it in Affinity designer for iPad because it took 2 min. And I do have that as a free download on my blog. But you can definitely do it in Procreate too. Do you want to see how to do it in Procreate? Or did you just want the free download?
