    "There's basically no vanguard that deals arts damage"
    Reed: *tear*
    I completely forgot that in IS2 the way you got chests was to keep enemies from walking over them.
    On the twins I always kill the archer 1st then use some kind of slow/CC with ranged DPS to kill the swordsman.

      yeah that's usually the best tactic, but since the swordsman is kinda fast it can be punishing sometimes.
      Also yeah Reed and Chiave exist but if you really need Reed or Chiave your run is probably doomed :(

      I am mostly being tongue in cheek because they tried to make Reed's gimmick arts damage but didn't fully understand how bad mixed physical and arts damage is at the time.
      I agree that if you're using Reed for your source of arts damage, while it's better than nothing, you're probably going to struggle.

      Blacknight, vigil, mueleyes and texas who also do arts damage: _in shambles_

      But yeah Texas and BK are the closest things to being "good arts damage vanguards" (particularly BK who I really like in IS for a lot of bosses because of her sleep). And wait, Mumu deals art damage? Edit : oh youy mean the flower shape when copying an arts damage dealer, true, I think I really need to play her more I usually skip 6* vanguards that aren't named Ines

    Nice vid, but wanted to point out the video seems to be stretched vertically.

      It is, that's because I've no idea how to capture footage without stretching it unfortunately

    I mean, that's a great video full of usefull tips, but since you mention it's aimed at new players this over-abondance of OP E2 90 M3 6stars kinda defeat the point IMO, the issue for newer player is typicaly that they don't have that many options, especialy at that level of investment, so this is just rubbing your money on their faces x)

    • @Dr.Pitanger
      @Dr.Pitanger  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@kevinseraphin5456 yeah that's a good point, the issue is most of my units that are built are well... Well built in fact. I'm thinking about making an alt account, entirely f2p with limited pulls and play IS with this for a "true" new player experience, but that's absolutely a valid point

    • @kevinseraphin5456

      @@Dr.Pitanger I mean, you can't realy truly replicate a true new player experience no matter what you do, since knowledge is probably the biggest part of IS anyway (or any rogue-like for that matter), plus I imagine the point is not to do a step by step but moreso to give general advices on how to improve your chances of winning and how to make better decisions, so it's fine :p
      I'm just thinking about it but there's also the skill tree that gives pretty huge buffs that new players don't have as well x)

      @kevinseraphin5456 true, though I still have an idea of making a series where I play "like a new player" (well plus the current experience I have as you said) where I would be playing in "masochist" mode like some content creators do for Yu-Gi-Oh for example, that means only being able to pull like once every 5 stages cleared or something and use the units I get in IS, I think that could be entertaining
