About the tree chopping, aside from the usual 4 block ops and noir, Mlynar is also really good at chopping, you can let him chop down an entire forest and focus on other things on the map
Five months later, it actually helped me. I was playing this game on challenge mode the whole time, wondering "WHY IS THIS SO HARD?" while watching guides breeze through the thing.
WOOD GOOD FOOD GOOD I UNGA *therefore* I BUNGA I gotta say, this was really well put together, and a good balance of being quick but putting things into context! Glad to see more folks putting out info for the people. For an operator recommendation, I'm gonna put in my bid for Honeyberry! She's easily available via the shop, does her subclass job well with an auto-triggered multi-target Skill 1 (one less thing to micromanage), and her wide range is useful for both healing coverage and map vision! Can't go wrong with building her up, especially when that acid rain starts coming around in Monsoon season...
Bonus tip: You can make your playthrough WAY easier if you find and destroy the Fortress nodes every season. Those nodes are what spawn the harder Elite level raids. Not to mention that you'll also get fat stacks of gold and meat as a reward, eliminating 3 birds with 1 act (raid spawns/conflict gold/hunting food)
For the energy drink it's cost 2 energie drunk if you fill up your squad until 6 operators, if you are going to go 7 and above it will cost 3 but you might mostly go full squad for a hard battle or raid.
Recommend farming reward points a bit first from Blemichi video for a better startup with tech tree buff since its carry over reset. It worked well for me.
The fact that you are required to either memorize each level, including mob placement and spawns, or download every map from Chinese reddit makes this is worst game mode ever to come to arknights, by a vast margin.
Reading is not hard, the hard thing is understanding the ui design of this game (you have to tap the circle of the main menu to check difficulties, and only then you notice enemy raids have x2 hp and damage, no wonder my ops were melted during raids) There is also the ingame faq that barely explains anything, you cant even see detailed info about what each weather does, but it is explained in the skip day button ui... And last complaint, the enemy diagonal pathing is so ass that they kept bumping walls, and early game when you need walls the most you will probably lose walls due to diagonal wonky pathing, it takes time and resources to figure a decent layout that doesn't make enemies go in diagonals.
7:06 Okay, but how do you actually unlock it? My longest run had me at base level 3 about 30 days in, all of the first area completely cleared out, and never once got access to the supply store despite having 800+ crude gold.
Quick question. How to have myself start playing RA? Got a pretty decent account with several page of E2 full of meta but Im either too lazy or afraid to start playing it.
I like how they upgraded the in game tutorial from totally useless obnoxious click here! standard gacha tutorial to actually helpful obnoxious click here! standard gacha tutorial. :D I miss the old version of the game where it's not endless and base is saved though. I know the change is to make it easier, but I'd have liked the option to play it in both styles, as both are unique takes on it in the same vein as IS2, 3, 4, etc are a variation of the same. :D
yo... can you tell me if the wood stuff in the node will regen? there's a node that have like 120 woods. I did clear the whole map so the amount of wood is 0. any chance it could grow back? I'm on day 40-ish.
@ohayohinaa THANK YOU FOR THE ANSWER! I got 2 more questions if you don't mind... 1. What exactly do urban style barrier do? Description says it make the enemy go find another route, but when I do deploy it, the enemy just destroy it instead! Yes, I don't block every road to blue box, I just intend to create choke point. 2. How to make the map visible from the get go? I try to put 2 lvl II sentry Tower, but the whole map still isn't visible.
Not at all. Challenge mode and Easy mode both give the same amount of rewards. It's just that Easy is well "easier". It's good for people that are still new and don't have that much operators
Hina learned to read for us. Keep that in mind.
Broke it down Barney style.
Very good beginner's guide. I applied the tips and now I'm suddenly at day 300 and fighting Zaaro for outpost ownership rights
This mode really does _drive you insane._

That hoshiguma skin burns my motivation for playing this gamemode
Its force my motivation to look for guides 🤣

Deforestation expert Fiametta has been my best partner for Mlynar. Also helps that she's just an easy permanent skill operator

8:22 Mr. Nothing's skill 1 also gives him a passive +1 block, allowing him to collect wood very well.

that wood good food good part got me feeling like a caveman fr 💀💀😭
I shared this guide even before I was done watching it. Didn't over-explain things, which made it easy to digest. Thank you, this was perfect.
Given there is a 1+ hour video out there about this mode, bite-sized versions would be nice.
Reaper Guards like Humus or La Pluma are really good for chopping wood. They attack several tiles at once, including monsters if they are attacked.
The Nian bean will take over Rhodes Island
is this some kind of end-game content? because as im using my E1 operators to slash wood it took ages

I'm gonna become a pro RA player with this guide

Thank you. wood good food good, unga bunga
it's better to fight raid outside the HQ , especially if there are ranged-attack enemies.

looking forward to pt2 👀
thank you for the guide
about fast redeploys: imo yato and phantom are better for hunting

If I remember correctly, you need to find the Lialson NPC in the map 'Drink water as bait' to unlock the shop.
Shop unlocks at HQ level 2. Finding Liaison is NOT required.
@DoctorSockrates I did upgrade my HQ to level 2 and I did NOT have the shop available. So something weird must have happened.
What if, just if, vegetarian-niche for this game mode?
awesome guide
Quick question. How to have myself start playing RA? Got a pretty decent account with several page of E2 full of meta but Im either too lazy or afraid to start playing it.
You forgot to mention that the game is set to “challenge mode” on default. Without a veteran roster, challenge mode can be very difficult.

missing the subway surfer video
Does changing the mode to be easier lessen the event currency i get for the shop?

I got 4 enemy waves in 28 days🥲
So you're telling me reclamation algorithm is just Clash of Clans?
Thanks for the video!
Tho, I'll never touch this mode again, beyond getting that operative and her dupes. I hate it. Just no. No.
Hina why are you making a guide?
Idk but no one can use low tier in this

Thanks for the simple and useful guide, I am finally gonna attempt this dreaded content...
Or just do the day 3 wipe routine.
