You are a sweet heart Ms. Watkins! Your voice is so soothing and you explain everything with ease! im a private publishing administrator and i still come to your channel just to refresh! please don't stop making these videos!
@@TheMusicBusinessMadeEasy I need to ask you a question about someone who is not getting all of their SoundCloud royalties. Do you have an email address I could use?
Curious Ms. Watkins, how far back can I claim. I have some songs I wrote and performed for a producer/artist in Sweden inthe 90s and have lost contact. He was pretty big so I feellike there is money owed me. Thank you for any assitance you can give.
Each platform (ASCAP, BMI, SoundExchange etc) has a different time determined for paying back royalties. If your music was properly registered you would need to check to see how far back you can claim with each one.
Thanks for pointing that out! I added them in the description, but here you go! Royalty Claim - www.royaltyclaim.com SAG-AFTRA - www.sagaftra.org/unclaimed-residuals
I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. If you release a song and it's getting streamed, downloaded, purchased, or used, those songs will begin to generate royalties.

@@TheMusicBusinessMadeEasy I'm getting royalties for my father's music but it doesn't say what songs they are.
@@mariathomas1420 where is the statement coming from?
Thx u
You're welcome!
How do you claim royalty’s that don’t belong to you tho??
Why would you want to try to claim royalties that are not yours? I'm not following you here.
