Look at the bigger picture. I mean what's going on all over the world. On how long these two would be convicted if it was SA and Tori survived ? How many years convicted pedophiles get to serve ? How they are treated after release? What is the new, "progressive" program they started teaching kids in elementary schools? Terri-Lynn’s side of the story is just mind boggling. She says she didn’t want to actually kidnap anyone, but then did it anyway. She says she couldn’t bear to watch the SA happen, but then helped beat Tori to death. And then she was so willing to lead them to the body. I just don’t understand.

Drewby and Yergy, thank you for covering this story. As a Canadian who doesn’t live far from Woodstock, this story was devastating. I couldn’t have asked for a better channel to cover this. When Terri-Lynn got transferred to an indigenous healing lodge, our communities were horrified. I’m not sure how much you know about our justice system but it’s beyond pathetic. Might I suggest looking into the “murder” of the Neville-Lake children and their grandfather in Vaughan Ontario… I put “murder” in quotation because of the circumstances behind these deaths. Our justice system makes me sick.
It's known that Canada, U.K. & Australia are the worst as far as handing down 'justice'. The U.S. is also becoming the same with Soros funded D.A.'s. It's a shame it comes down to politics & NOT true JUSTICE - by the rules!

I am often shocked by the Canadian justice system and the results it comes up with. The same can be said of the UK Scotland Ireland Australia and New Zealand. A lot of people in other parts of the world think our justice system in the States is tougher on violent crime
but in reality there is very wildly inconsistent sentencing, a lot of prosecutorial incompetence/wimpiness/laziness, and just apalling lack of justice for other reasons in a lot of horrible cases. It is just that occasionally there are harsh meaningful sentences that kind of fit the crime. There should be more of this, and other countries - even if they have less of this kind of crime to deal with - should have at least the option of a meaningful harsh sentence for their worst of the worst.

When a child goes missing it needs to be taken seriously straight away far too often law enforcement is too lax and assumes that they ran away but they are just children so they would immediately be at risk so that needs to be acknowledge more often than it is

I live a few hours from where Woodstock was and only a few years older than Tori when she went missing . I remember putting up posters and the balloons everywhere. It broke my heart when I heard the news that authorities finally found her remains. At the time I was going to school across the street from the court house where the trials took place . Later on in my law class in highschool we took a trip to the same court house and were able to view the actual room where the trial was. The energy in the room felt so heavy even after all that time .
Thank you for covering this one. I forged a friendship with Tori’s Dad and Stepmom a few years ago when I made a memorial video (which you can find on my channel) they are still fighting for continued justice to this day! I keep Tori’s memorial bracelets in my car so that she can come with me on my adventures. 💜 she is sorely missed, but always remembered!

This case is a great example of how you can't judge people based only on how they act in a crisis.
This is a problem with the True Crime community in particular. There is no roadmap for grief, but people have convicted someone in their minds because of their own prejudices.
Reminds me of a book I read, The Stranger by Albert Camus. In it a man is convicted of a murder primarily because he didn't cry at his mother's funeral. To be fair, in the book he *is* actually guilty, but I have seen many examples of people jumping to conclusions in this way about people that were later proven to be innocent, like Tara in this case.
How any woman can do this to please a horrible man is beyond my comprehension. RIP Victoria 💕 😢

I watched the interrogations a while back. I’m heartbroken every time I hear her devastating story. For God’s sake, these are little children. RIP, sweet girl. You two always cover these cases with respect and class for the victims and their families.
I had to see a psychologist upon first learning of this case on the news. To this day, I've never been more disturbed by a case. What really bothered me - aside from EVERYTHING - is how this woman not only played a silent witness to it all, but physically assisted in every aspect of the nightmare from abducting Tori to smashing her head in with a hammer to pitching her body like an old watermelon rind. And how can anyone just pick up a child from a school for the purpose of assaulting and killing? How? That's not something you do. Do people truly have no respect for human life? I mean, it baffles my mind. This case was the most incredibly disturbing case I have ever known.
And her poor mother. Omg.
They treated her like shit! Just because she had a drug addiction. Drug addiction doesn't necessarily make someone a bad mother! I realize that drugs certainly do pose a threat, but people blow it way out of proportion. People need a "subhuman" disposable population of people to abuse and dehumanize and use as a scapegoat. Drug addicts are the perfect fit. Makes me sick. And drugs don't cause people to rape little girls and bash their brains in. Evil people with serious mental and psychological impediments rape little girls and bash their brains in. Drugs don't increase the chances of someone engaging in such evil nor do they foster the environment or mindset that increases the likelihood of such behavior. A normal person with a conscience doesn't commit such evil regardless of how many drugs they have in their system. Only an evil person behaves in this manner - with or without drugs. It's important folks remember this.

If you are 70 at the time of your arrest then yes 25 years is likely the rest of your life but for these two who were in their 20s, 25 years is not a life sentence. They will walk the street again one day and not at as elderly people with no ability to move about, but as 40 yr olds who still have years of life left to be free and happy. No one who steals the life of a child should EVER get to live a happy life outside of prison.
I am not a better person to have listened to this stomach-churning kidnapping, r*pe, and murder. Tori's brother made the loss of his sister all too real.
I have some fine friends and family members in Canada (and lived there briefly) but the Courts have also let out the likes of Karla Homolka. A release of the murderess of Tori would sadly not be surprising.

Dennis Boo Vaughans case has not gotten much attention so I just wanted to mention his name here in hopes that someone will see my comment and think of him. He was murdered on Christmas 2019 by his grandmother who has still not been arrested. I have covered his case on Tiktok several times and im working on a video for TH-cam too. His mom has done news interviews, tiktoks etc. She desperately needs help getting justice for her baby. I have been working with her to get his case out here so maybe an arrest will be made. I know you guys stay busy and there are so many cases to cover... Anyways thank you so much for reading and for covering Toris case again ❤

My cousin was part of the prosecution’s team. It was so mentally difficult a case he had to take a mental stress leave after putting these monsters away. My step daughter goes to this school now. It leaves me uneasy. Thank you for covering Tori.

I don't know why this one affected me more than usual, I nearly didn't make it to the end. RIP beautiful Tori, No child deserves such evil things done to them. Her brother also broke my heart, saying he was alone and had no one to talk to, that was so sad. She should never get out of prison, she is just as guilty as he is, I actually feel she played more of a part in that horrific crime than she makes out.
I am pretty sure she did. I think Terri Lynn McClintock eventually confessed to being the one that did the murder. She said her boyfriend did the SA and she did the murder. She should never get out.

I remember when she went missing and was killed, I'm 2 years older and lived in a town near Woodstock and it was all over the news. My mom and babysitter started getting super strict with picking us up from school or us walking home/being out alone. Rest in peace Tori, you didn't deserve any of what was done to you and they deserve to rot in prison for the rest of their lives.
You have to literally be dead inside to hold a baby's hand while they are being hurt in that way! That poor baby was looking to her for help and😢

I don’t understand how someone who was sa’d can do this to other little girl. I was sa by my grandfather and my adopted father’s brother. I was an angry little girl because I had a mother who ca me the only person I had who loved me unconditionally and showed me what love really was and protected me was my loving Grandma. When my mother couldn’t afford me she would send me back to my grandparents house. To protect me my Grandma would get an apartment to live in while I was there, plus my cousin when he found out I was there he would move in too. My cousin and I were very close back then.
Anyways this really just blows my mind because I know that no matter what I would’ve never let any child be sa or beaten because I know how that feels. I’ve reported several situations to Child Protective Services several times throughout my life. Even reported my own sister. Her girls were taken from her. Anyways y’all do a great job telling about these horrendous cases and doing what you can to highlight the victims.

The police officer should have immediately got on the horn to have other on duty offices start looking. He should have began looking IMMEDIATELY. Amber alert should have also been immediate. This is horrific. Demons abound. She should have never been left behind alone.

I remember this case I lived in Toronto at the time and honestly thank you for covering it. It was just horrible. But she needs to be remembered especially with the murderer possibly applying for parol this year. This case was horrible.
