The oil drain plug is 'right hand thread' so it's clockwise to tighten and anticlockwise to slacken. The terminology matters and the misunderstanding is because you were on top of the said bolt. Thank you for your video, its helped me.
Nice instructions for newbies (thumbs up). Tip of advise: Remove the oil cap; then the bolt. This way you remove all the oil in the engine and also quite faster. I have a question though; does it have oil filter?
I know nothing, but what is the oil drain plug for? Why not put the old one back in? Do I need an oil drain plug? That's the only part I'm confused about
Good morning Sir, unfortunately, you have just overfilled your bike with oil, You do not screw the dipstick in when checking the oil. Experience 17years in Honda bike engineering.
@@Zed-kc7cr you put 1.100 ML after rebuilding .. on service you should put 900 ML . I believe it can take about 50-80ML more without any issue but I would not risk it because overfilled engine oil will put additional pressure on engine and can cause damage .The first sign that you have overfilled is white smoke coming out of the exhaust ( don't ask how I know it 🤣)
Doesnt really matter wont break your bike if you're padantic though then use 10w-30w oil for winter and 10w-40w for summer !:) sincerely a honda ownert
Just bought one of these lovely machines for £1100 so was expecting it to be in great condition. All work he did on it was perfect, all was more or less like new except....he forgot to refill the oil sump! It was bone dry, had I not checked it and just went on to use the bike, I hate to think what would have happened
CBF 125 does not have an oil filter. It has an oil strainer and you have to remove the right engine cover to check it and clean it. You do that every 12000 kms.
If you are going to do a educational video atleast do it right the cbf takes the full litre and you pull the funnel out of the end of the bottle then all the oil would come out

you do not screw in the dip stick other then that great video
Clear and concise, but don't screw the dipstick in to check the level, now you have a false reading indicating that it's fuller than it is
Thats bullshit mate you need to screw it all the way in
@@armandtr-n9yit differs from bike to bike, in the case of the cbf125 you simply rest it on in the hole, you don’t screw it in

Can you show me a link for the magnetic plug,or at least the size?
Is it 900 ml or 1 liter whitch should i fill for 20w40 ?
10w40 for summer 10w30 for winter .900 ML
Thanks, very usefull!
Does this motorbike require a oil filter?
bf
no, there is an internal one, clean as per manual
This caused me pain to watch. Move the oil out of the way when you're trying to do the bolt up... it just makes sense.
Absolutely do NOT screw it in.
Honda manual says 10w30 btw...
My manual (cbf250) says it goes according to outside temperature. For hotter climates it's 10w40. It has a table with related temperatures too.
Left to loose, right to tight
Can I use 10w 30 4t?
Antony Bishop yes, 10w30 or 10w40, ether one of them two you can use.
u dont screw it in an it takes 1 ltr everyone else says 1ltr
Zed 5786 read your bike manual. Yamaha ybf is 1l Honda cbf is 900ml
Don't screw it in lol
How to CBF my mechanic put 1l in

You don't screw it in to check level, check manual ( your words )
Never screw in the dipstic to check level on Hondas.
Thanks a lot
thank you
Why didn’t you replace the oil filter. Normally on any bike or car you replace the oil and filter together
