      It says 20mm up down, does that means 10mm up and 10mm down?
      You adjusted it to 40mm in total, 20mm up 20mm down.

    VERY well done. Best video I've seen on this procedure. Actually the best video I've seen on ANY procedure. This video should be used as instruction video on how to make "how to" videos!

    Super helpful video. My bike was filthy but I managed to do it in about 15 minutes despite my cheap Halfords spanner snapping as soon as I tried to undo the wheel axle nut!
    The trick to measure the distance between the end of the bolt and the nut is way better than the markers, in my opinion.

  • @Daedalus_UK
    @Daedalus_UK 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I thought you might use a torque wrench at the end but you did not. I found that most long time mechanics just use feel like you did. You even used a caliper. I guess you checked the bolts before hand to ensure the length. Perfect video and the best I have seen on dealing with the chain.

    With measuring the lengths of the adjuster rods is that always going to be exactly the same if the wheel is square?
    I assume it's just a more accurate way than using the adjuster marks on the side of the swing arm?

    Very informative! Just a quick question. I own a CBF 150 with the chain dirt guard and it rattles quite a lot.
    When i tried to tighten the chain I noticed the last mechanic who service it didnt quite adjust the chain index marker equally. So there are 4 marks to fully extended on the left and 3 on the right. Shouldn't it be even on both sides? the mechanic says otherwise?
