I just got into coin collecting, I found a pill bottle full of error coins from the 60s and 70s in excellent condition. I found them in a house I was working at where this old lady died and left all this stuff behind for us to find when my buddy bought the old house. I almost spent them in a soda machine but I got to looking and they are ALL error coins.. Im going to get them graded.. since then I have found a few other valuable coins in my pocket change. I already collect a bunch of other stuff, but I'm excited about this new coin collection I'm building.
Hello I'm a coin collector interested to take a look at the pill bottle of coins? If you wouldn't mind sending me some pics with some coins maybe i might buy something off you!!!
I just got a collection of coins that my dad gave me that he inherited from his grandmother. I came across a 1858 half dime and I am very curious as to what it could be worth.
According to the Official Blue Book of U.S. Coins-79th edition 2021, an 1858 half dime(depending on condition) can be worth $10 to $500 dollars. If it has an 'Over Inverted Date', depending on condition, it can be worth $18 to $1,100. At least, that's what the book says. But in all honesty, it comes down to how valuable the collector/buyer feels that its worth. Just because you have a coin that's been declared worth a certain amount of money, that doesn't mean a collector is going to be willing to pay that amount for it. Just sayin. 🙃
Thank you for your videos. I've only just begun paying attention to the change in my pocket. But I have a quick question I have a very unique 1969, 1963 and 1989 penny that don't have a mint mark. How would I know if it is worthy of collection status? And they're absolutely gorgeous.
@kueenshebbad I love that book! It has taught me a lot of things about coins that I didn't know, and I'm still learning more every day. Love these videos, too! 🙃
My sister found a double obverse 1972 penny in her change. The second obverse is rotated to one side of the other obverse when you flip it left or right. I sealed it in one of those paper coin holders. Should it be sent out for grading? If so, how should it be sent out? Should it also have the post office return receipt, certified mail stuff on the package?
Yes, yes, and yes. Certainly protect your coin in every aspect. Heritage auctions will grade and auction it. You can contact them via their website. Numismatic coin grading will grade but then you have to auction separate from them. I recommend Heritage it's the longest standing company. I wish you luck and short of delivering it personally take all precautions. They'll be able to instruct you further.
I have proof sets 1973 through 1989. Is I better to sell them as sets or have them graded individually and sell them that way? Is grading worth the value?
Generally speaking, in my professional experience with coins, I see a number of mint sets get broke apart and individually sold. So it is completely up to you whether you want to send in the mint set individually or as a whole to get graded. It will cost you more to get a set of five coins graded versus sending in one. I hope this helped you.
I always think about that too! Everytime I find one anywhere tho I always pick it up. My 18yro son now does the same thing lol. After he finds them he brings them to me. 😁

I inherited a collection from my father. I went to a coin shop, and the guy was pretty arrogant towards me. I told him I was getting back into the hobby. He said I wasn't going to find anything going through pocket change. It kinda discouraged me. Is there a way to get an honest opinion on what I see that is of value without spending a ton of money sending it to the graders? Thanks Matt
Hey Matt. Unfortunately a lot of Coin shops get people who think all of their coins are worth a ton of money. The reality is most coins are not rare and valuable. However, its a great hobby and every now and then you might find a rare coin. If you want to send us photos and join our active community, you can learn more here: www.skool.com/ccm/about
It always kills me when someone in the comments will say, "I have that exact same coin!" A rare coin is just that, RARE! That means that there is very little chance of someone having the same coin. Each rare coin has very special qualities about it that make it rare and valuable. It's those fine little details that people need to pay special attention to. You may have a coin with the same date, maybe even mint mark, but I doubt if you possess a coin with these same valuable details that these RARE coins possess. Just sayin. 🙃
Most likely, your coin is a Philadelphia mint coin. Philadelphia and West Point cents bear no mintmark, according to the "Strike it Rich with Pocket Change" 5th edition book that I have. Just sayin. 🙃

Hello do you know if a gold plated quarter worth anything
I have one also a 1992
Are you still there doubting and watching while others are making cool money from crypto investment, I will encourage you,,,,,,,, to start investing to secure a better financial freedom
Keep it simple in the beginning. Buy something, like an index fund, and hold. Educate yourself in the meantime and elevate your risk tolerance over time.
@@bridgetrussell5903 In order to make profits from trading you need loads of experience and a well defined strategy, which most traders don't have. If you trade without the proper preparation, you're most likely to lose your money. Identify the buy/sell ratios and identify the market leaders and most importantly.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
@@lomagoorgina5606 You are right! I diversified my 450K portfolio across various market with the aid of an investment coach, I have been able to generate a little bit above 1.3m in net profit across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds during this red season

Ohhh 😮 my husband’s auntie was a member of the Franklin Mint Collectors Society, she passed away 40 years ago and left all her coin collections to my husband, the only child and only nephew, now I got so interested because I have the 1975 S in the collection, it’s in immaculate condition thanks for your video, we
Also have the 1941 Penny. 1956, and a whole
Lot of 1982 Pennies
I have a 1924 penny but I can’t find it. 😕
Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down!! Despite the economic downturn, I'm so happy 😊I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $7,000 investment every 12days.
@Jeffery Starr When I glance through your comments, I know you must be talking about Mrs Brittney. It's been 3 months of steady crypto growth using her trading strategy.
She is also my personal trader, crypto analyst and account manager. With an initial invested capital of $8000, it yielded returns of over $22000 within two weeks of trading. I was really impressed by the profit Actualized
I got Brittney's recommendations in December 2021 and started following her lead and made $23,450 in a week. Lost my job in January 2022 and right now I'm back on top again and ready to go with her guidance.
Hey, I invested largely on stock market last year, tried some index but my experience doesn't pay me. I have lost so much trading by myself Please is there any handle or link can get to her?
Brittney's concept is key in beating all odds to excel in this form of online commodity. Her management team is quite impressive so far! With $4k I made a profit of over 28,863 dollar
The dime at 14:46 has these streaks on the front. I'm curious what causes them.
Awesome video! So happy to announce that I have gained financial freedom by investing in digital currency. Now I know that multi creation of various streams of income is the ideal Principle for financial sustainability.
Do you trade on your own?
@@lvie6992 Am trading with expert Mrs Lisa Gideon, a regulated broker. Met her sometime last year at a startup funding event. She had some interesting things to say about the state of algorithmic trading today, very obviously I'm seeing the results.
@@limzah4121 That's impressive. Are you giving her your money or the money stays in your trading account? What's really the idea behind copying trades.
@@lvie6992 My money stays right in my trading account, my account just mirrors her trades in real-time.that's the idea behind copy trading.
My first investment with Mrs Lisa Gideon gave me the assurance that has made me invest without the fear of losing, I got four of my friends involved with her already

Very informative. Great video. I'm learning a great deal from you. Thank you.
Please take us through in detail, "once we find a coin" how we contact a grading company, do we need to be a member, how much money to send for grading, how to box n send it, what we do when we get it back graded, where to try to sell at auction, how to get hold of those ppl to send it. How to mail it. No body answers these. We need a video. What's best company to receive money through. Many use PayPal, are there others, or better ones? Ty!

Good morning
Nice one
My brother found a nickel. The other day that has the head on both sides &a date on both sides, but the dates are different on each side.would you know anything about that.
He probably has what is commonly called a magician's coin. It is made by hollowness out a genuine coin and inserting another genuine coin that has been shaved down to fit inside the other piece. If you look closely, you can see the seam just inside the rim. They are regarded as a novelty piece, and as such, aren't collected by collectors and carry a nominal value.
