1)Motorcycles help reduce traffic so why make them sit in it and make it worse 2) if a motorist checks mirrors and blind spot, like they should every lane change, what would the difference be if they split the lane or was in the lane next to them? The issue is driver incompetence. 3) traffic builds up everyone slams on brakes, motorcyclist does also and comes to stop and the vehicle behind him crushes him in between both vehicles. Turns a fender bender between two cars into a possible death. That all considered I’ll keep lane splitting and take the ticket if it comes.
How are you going to illegally lane split and be upset because people can't predict your BSness. To the people who's going to try to say it's legal in Cali, that's only in extremely slow moving or stopped traffic which this wasn't.
