Man, this is probably the best video showing what life at Futures is really like hahah was awesome to have you experience life on tour. Do you guys want more MTHQ x Winners Only collabs??
I feel like the down time is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you have a routine and can keep yourself mentally focused on whatever it is that you need to focus on. I'd much rather do that than a typical 9-5 gig, although there are always pros and cons.
This was totally unexpected and totally amazing. Thanks for all the hard (boring) work on the road and bringing us the true behind-the-scenes look into the tennis grind.
I think it would be nice if we describe the ITF Future tournaments as the second division of Pro Tennis (after ATP) and not "the lowest level of pro tennis". I played many itf tournaments and won a few ATP points and I can tell that is very competitve, some players of the ITF tournaments could easily compete in ATP tournaments as well. Lets go amazing video keep it up.
Love the video Trey, keep killing it 🎉 Although I would like to note even though you’re 100% correct this is the lowest level of professional tennis, these dudes are still some of the best in the world at Tennis 💪🏽
Solid work brother! Love to see the progress you’ve made as well as the progress the channel has made. Glad to be along for the ride. If you’re ever in Atlanta or I’m in Texas I’d love to play a Sunday set
Really enjoyed seeing Karue on this certain journey. As a former player for Ohio State University, I’m amazed at how tennis has progressed there! It was sh&t in 1983 - thanks for the video.
Really awesome content. It's perfect that you had the time to do this, as Karue needs someone to handle the camera side of him playing tournaments. Hopefully maybe you can collab for more tournaments? Maybe sneak in some him coaching you as well? Would be cool!
Wow I didn't expect this collab. It would be amazing if you could get some coaching from Karue. I love watching his vids to learn the right techniques and yours as you are on a similar level then me and therefore that would be absolutely perfect
Great video! 9:32 If you "refuse to lose" a game, does that mean your mindset gives you the edge? Or are you actually better than the other person, and you just need to make sure the score reflects that as well?
Awesome content! It would be great to see more of these ‘inside view’ into the life of pro players, but with a greater emphasis on the daily schedule- like how many hours in the gym and how many hours on the court, what drills every day, etc..
First non clay red tennis courts I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t beat the sky/baby blue court perimeters that looked like the bottom of a swimming pool in the Top 3.5 vid.
The worst thing about tournaments is the amount of waiting around before matches. You could be scheduled for say 11am but then not get on until 2pm, 3pm, 4pm or even later!
Very interesting video! How does Karue find hitting partners when he is on tour? Does he just show up at the courts and find someone that is in the same situation?
Amazing Video. One thing which I was looking forward to was post match recovery routine. Can you please tell us about how they recover after such a long match? Also what was being eaten/drunk pre match and during match?
Not a lot of recovery options at this level. Karue did some stretching in the pool after the 3 hour match for about an hour, but other than there isn't a lot of options. The Hotel Gyms are terrible for recovery. As far as food goes, we were doing chicken or steak bowls with lots of veggies pre match, and drinking water pre match, and then he drinks water and LMNT electrolytes drink during the matches!
Bro what was it like hitting against karue..? When I play against our A team I can hit with them but the whole time I feel a ton of pressure on my head - its exhausting.
Great content! You got a new follower! Oh and I saw Katie's breakdown of the match and what went wrong, but honestly Karue if you look at what you ate on that off day, the day before the match 😮😅. Compare that to that goat cheese salad. Way to many carbs and saturated fats bro slowed you down! 😂
@MyTennisHQ With all that down time, do you know if anybody at Futures level tries to hold down a somewhat "normal" remote job while competing? Or is there just not enough downtime to do that while training enough to be successful?
Not guys who are actually in main draws. In tournament there is down time but it is difficult to have a job during training weeks. However, I have seen guys who mostly play qualies who work remote jobs hahah
iam a semi pro hopefully pro this year or next year in Europe but football players ranked 500,000 th is the same as a tennis 400 player its not fair footballer ranked the same 400th are balling in cash u don't even know them but tennis needs more cash to distribute more in the sport so sad number 400th needs to eat cheap 400th in the world of nearly 8 billion humans is so elite they should earn at least similar to footballers
Tennis I love soon pro in Bratislava Slovakia iam currently in Africa but soon eroupe for tennis but I would like this new generation to earn much more then old generation its supposed to be similar to footballers since its in the billions of views globally and I would like tennis to get richer in money as a sport and see footballers basketball players even other sports earn much more then tennis so sad since tennis is so hard and I don't think ATP and WTA need to distribute equally much but like wimboldon is a 70 million dollar event I would like it to be at least a 800 million dollars event like premier league in football etc we need more financing lets make even 2500th ranked tennis player earn similar to a 2500th footballer earn cause its so sad and unfair.
Man, this is probably the best video showing what life at Futures is really like hahah was awesome to have you experience life on tour. Do you guys want more MTHQ x Winners Only collabs??
Definitely need more collabs
Yes sir!! Need you coaching Trey
Absolutely

Yes Please..
Wow. Incredible Video. A Side Of Karue We Have Never Seen.
Was waiting for this all day. Yes !!! Just went through your first video cheap vs expensive rackets.. haha skills have come a long way trey.
This was totally unexpected and totally amazing. Thanks for all the hard (boring) work on the road and bringing us the true behind-the-scenes look into the tennis grind.
This video is incredible. That is all

It's third division

the level was insane! best tennis i’ve seen in person so far.
Solid work brother! Love to see the progress you’ve made as well as the progress the channel has made. Glad to be along for the ride. If you’re ever in Atlanta or I’m in Texas I’d love to play a Sunday set
Great video man, probably the most enjoyable tennis TH-cam I've watched in a long long time.
Glad you enjoy it! Hoping to do more interesting stuff!
Amazing to see what goes on behind the scenes !

May be a little snippet of coaching coming soon!
Gratz, Trey!
That is amazing content. Great job, mate!
Keep it up.
Wow this was more entertaining than I expected. Good job with the commenting and editing, top notch.
Loved getting to see a little behind the scenes of the pro tour, wouldn’t mind seeing more as Karue progresses!
Oh shit, I gotta get back to Columbus. This looks much better than the varsity tennis center the team used to play in. Nice to have actual seats now
Great video! 9:32 If you "refuse to lose" a game, does that mean your mindset gives you the edge? Or are you actually better than the other person, and you just need to make sure the score reflects that as well?
Mindset. Never giving up. Trying to find a way.
Awesome content!

8:33 we need to see 4.7 UTR in futures now
Love this video-great tennis, great production, and drama to boot. Bonus: brief cameo at 6:56 by the Master Stringer Jeff Deibel (he’s the MAN)
First non clay red tennis courts I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t beat the sky/baby blue court perimeters that looked like the bottom of a swimming pool in the Top 3.5 vid.
Very nice facility, we didn't have stuff like that in the 80s. Lol. Indoors was mostly playing under those bubbles
Great video. Keep them coming
I used to be a super highly ranked junior and I think this video is pretty accurate. Good stuff
The collab we didn’t know we’re going to get!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Very cool to see your collaboration.
The worst thing about tournaments is the amount of waiting around before matches. You could be scheduled for say 11am but then not get on until 2pm, 3pm, 4pm or even later!
Road triip / travel / tournament videos are always interesting.
If you ever come out to Columbus again, please let us know!

Man, this is a big collab!
This is amazing man! I can’t lie - you sound like yachty low key 😂
pretty crazy how level of tennis isnt half bad but if you win you wont able to afford some food i smell future improvements in top tier tennis too
Karue without a hat: like a hollywood set.
Great content! You got a new follower!

Great video!
Great video
When you show highlights of your matches - you should show great points won by the other players too.
This is great
This was really interesting
Why not go for a long walk or go to a gym for a light workout/stretching etc? Surely there are things you can do to prepare your body.
Should have came up to the university of toledo, I want tovplay you so bad
some of these complexes in America are crazy
