I remember, In 2018, I was so eager to get an Xbox one so I could finally play Forza Horizon 4 with my best friend (of 10 years as of when I am writing this), the first thing I did when I got my Xbox was download FH4, I saw the loading screen, heard this music, booted up the game, played it for a good 2 years almost every day, I was absolutely obsessed with this game, I still remember the first car I got, the first car I bought, the first place I drove, the first time I felt free. 2020 hits, the world is now shutdown, I am stuck in a deep depression wondering if anyone I loved would die, I start to stray further and further from this game, starting other ones like COD ww2, Fortnite, Minecraft etc. I get an Xbox series X when it is released, and my Xbox one gets put in a drawer. I get FH5 and play the game so much, forgetting about FH4. Here we are now in March 2023, I was looking through some storage and I find my dusty Xbox one, I plug it in hoping it works, it takes 5 minutes to power on, the next thing I know I am looking through old games I played on my barely working Xbox one and I see FH4, I open it, it takes another 5 minutes to start the loading screen, and then I see it and hear this song, all of the memories of when I had no worries, I didn’t have to be scared when someone was sick, I didn’t have to wear masks, When my life was good. I am on the verge of tears, I finally load in and see my first car I got in the game, Driving it, I turn on the radio to Horizon pulse, and this song is playing, I feel like I am going to cry again, I turn it off and my Xbox crashes. This song changed me and so many other people, and we didn’t even realize that in 5 years it would have felt so nostalgic to us. Many small things in games like creating your first world in Minecraft, or loading into a game for the first time, or getting your first win might seem small, but down the road when you revisit those things, it doesn’t seem so small anymore, and so many memories flood back to you. All of these things in games we do that seem small may have an impact on us in the future. To whoever read all of this, thanks for taking the time to do so, you are amazing. I totally agree man, it's got a Forza Horizon vibe towards it, I think this is the best soundtrack weve ever had. Prepare for the best music you've ever heard. I see a vision of me driving down a road in a 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z with a beautiful sunset with clouds as fluffy as can be with a endless amount of road ahead of you with this song going through my head and ears. owning the Ultimate Edition, I have to disagree with you at this point. It could be potentially a masterpiece but it feels unfinished. There are things that are wrong with it and things that need to be fixed asap. FH3 is currently a masterpiece. FH4 once it gets polished could be.

Sometimes FH4, this legendary game comes to my mind with this theme and all the memories I made playing it with my friends. It's amazing how we are only ~1 year away from Forza Horizon 6 and Forza Horizon 4 is turning 5 this year. Can't believe it.

Same story here, FH5 music (except main menu music) kinda sucks compared to FH4. I also loved the season change thingy, FH5 world seemed empty but FH4 festival's vibrant atmosphere, everybody dancing, random pedestrians on the roadside talking to each other. It just sometimes makes me park my car or go really slow and enjoy the ambience.

Got divorced around the time this game came out. Almost a year ago now. This is beautiful theme and it gave me a good feeling during that trying time in my life. It also became my theme for going through life on a very lonely road.
I already know in a couple of years when I come back to this game it’s gonna give me good and nostalgic memories of staying up late racing and having a good time with my friends

It's funny to realize that this music has become a different sensation. When I first heard it, it caused joy and goosebumps ran through my body. But now it has become associated with melancholy and sadness about how time has passed very quickly and now everything is different... It's a pity that the game has left the gaming platforms and will no longer be supported, but this game remained in my memory as something unique and unforgettable, as it was with the 3rd part.

Honestly when I got this game after a friend recommended it to me I thought I would get board from the lack of action. I'm used to playing shooters and stuff like GTA 5, he saw how much I liked driving in GTA and said I should try the demo of Forza 4. So I did and it's been my favorite game ever since. It's incredible how peaceful driving around on the open road can be.

I don't really think FH5 has much sense to exist as of right now. The game is aging very fine, not much you can improve in the terms of graphics and gameplay and imo it shouldn't feel like the Fifa series, same game new number. Maybe when the new generation of consoles will replace the PS5s and Ones, it will make more sense. I just like it how it is for now
Agreed. I booted the game up and I just sat with it playing the intro song for about 15 minutes and went through all the memories in my head! Driving the old roads that I drove with my ex during lockdown really hit me in the feels!

i brought Forza Horizon 4 couple of years back just because of this awesome intro, no thoughts or reviews, straight up brought the ultimate edition with all the content. spent first 30 mins in menu listening to this. what an amazing game, such lively community.. racing randoms, doing random convoy tours with bunch of awesome gamers on motorway, no racing, just chilling together, and also discovered my next fav artist chvrches, lauren mayberry you beauty.. amazing vocals.. so in love with her❤

When I loaded up the demo for the first time, I sat their for 5 minutes and even shed a tear of joy because of this ground breaking game

Same story here, FH5 music (except main menu music) kinda sucks compared to FH4. I also loved the season change thingy, FH5 world seemed empty but FH4 festival's vibrant atmosphere, everybody dancing, random pedestrians on the roadside talking to each other. It just sometimes makes me park my car or go really slow and enjoy the ambience.

Honestly when I got this game after a friend recommended it to me I thought I would get board from the lack of action. I'm used to playing shooters and stuff like GTA 5, he saw how much I liked driving in GTA and said I should try the demo of Forza 4. So I did and it's been my favorite game ever since. It's incredible how peaceful driving around on the open road can be.

I don't really think FH5 has much sense to exist as of right now. The game is aging very fine, not much you can improve in the terms of graphics and gameplay and imo it shouldn't feel like the Fifa series, same game new number. Maybe when the new generation of consoles will replace the PS5s and Ones, it will make more sense. I just like it how it is for now

i brought Forza Horizon 4 couple of years back just because of this awesome intro, no thoughts or reviews, straight up brought the ultimate edition with all the content. spent first 30 mins in menu listening to this. what an amazing game, such lively community.. racing randoms, doing random convoy tours with bunch of awesome gamers on motorway, no racing, just chilling together, and also discovered my next fav artist chvrches, lauren mayberry you beauty.. amazing vocals.. so in love with her❤
