I was a freshman in high school when I first heard this song in FH4. I’m a freshman in college now. Time flies, take one day at a time.

I was a junior HS student when I first heard it on FH4. (Which was my introduction to the Forza franchise as well as Xbox Game Pass)
I was a junior in high school when I downloaded FH4 and heard this song for the first time. I'm now a freshman in college (took a prep year at a smaller college) and came back to this song tonight as I'm writing an essay. It makes me want to go back and play FH4 when I go home.

There was an article I read a few months back that talked about how much stress and anxiety children and young adults had in mid 2018. They said that an 18 year old on average has more stress and anxiety than a psychiatric patient in the 1950s. After hearing an intro like that and getting hit with the solo piano, it was a very emotional sounding piece for me. After listening to this song 20 plus times, I can say that at this point I listen to this very song when i have to unwind from reality. I posted a quote i had said to a friend about this same song on a different video. "When my job, school and family get to be to much for me, I sit in my room and listen to this very song, because to me, this song gives me (pun intended) a moment apart from all of it. It gives me emotional support and comfort, just to hear this song. I hope other can feel the same peace when listening to it as well.

Just 24 hours ago, I had never even heard Odesza, let alone this album. What an innocent and fortunate recommendation. When this tune started, it was as if time stood still, and all I could do was close my eyes and surrender to the experience. I haven't been moved to tears in ages, yet this song opened a door to a deeper inner knowing I forgot was there. It reminds me of a quote from Joseph Campbell, "I don't believe people are looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive." Thus far, this album is providing that experience.

In December, 2022, my two cousins and I went on a trip up the mountains with some shrooms... we havent seen each other or had a good relationship due to family drama for well over 5 years. The intent was to wash away the past several years and restart.
I added this to our "trip playlist" knowing neither of them never heard it before. It came on at the peak of our high as we were laying there in the living room just listening to music in pure bliss....

My cat recently passed away.. He's been with me since I was 12 years old. I've been lost without him ever since then I forgot the love I had for this song until my friend showed me this once again.. Years ago when I was trying my best to lose weight, I would go out on morning jogs and listen to this song. My route was near the waterfront so hearing this while seeing the sun rising above the water was almost like a spiritual experience, and it helped me push myself to my absolute limits. 5 years later and I now have the body I dreamed of!

It's hard and bittersweet for me to go back and play this game and listen to this music now. When FH4 came out I had just bought an MX-5, gotten a raise at my job and was playing Horizon 4 as it had just come out obviously. I had racked up hundreds of hours, gotten hundreds of cars and gotten really good throughout my entire early FH4 experience. Right after COVID hit and we went into lockdown in that time period I got laid off from my job and my life ever since has gotten continuously worse and worse until where I am now.
Living in a tiny motel room with barely anything to my name, biking miles back and forth to a crappy dead end job everyday because the transmission in my MX-5 grenaded itself at 95K miles and I do this just so I can barely afford to eat cheap, unhealthy slop to keep myself alive.
Today I had some rare free time away from work and decided to reinstall FH4, big mistake. This song came on the radio when driving around, I started to just silently welt streams down my cheeks so I had to close the game and take awhile to reflect on why. I came to the realization the game is indeed an emotional experience, but that's not what made me cry. It was simply the game, ambiance and music in the game that brought back those good memories and it was too much to handle 😥
Just needed to get this off my chest, sorry for the long post.

At first I thought I did something to break it or didn't know how to drive manual. When i found out people had the same car with the same transmission blow up at 40K miles or earlier i felt better about myself at least. Known materials defect, 3 different transmission revisions so far, mine is the first revision 🤣

I love how this song is used in fh4! My guess is that this song is used for the mclaren senna as the car was a tribute to an F1 legend, Ayrton Senna. He was one of the best drivers in F1 history. Sad that he had to pass away from a crash.

I don’t play forza ( bit old) but my boys ( 6 & 11) do. So I’ve heard this song and always loved it. Now my 6yo has found out the title and plays it at home😊. It’s such a poignant and evocative track that will forever remind me of my boys at a young and carefree age. Sweden on Minecraft gets me the same.

To Forza Horizon 4 - It's hard to let go. The player base was falling off by the minute. Its loyal players held on, but I knew what I had to do. Forza Horizon 5 is good and all, but let's be honest here: Horizon 4 really hits it home. I knew every road like the back of my hand. I felt so bad deleting the game, but I know, deep down, that I will return. Be it 2 years or 5 years or 10, I will be back. And it will be this song right here that brings me to tears. When I started to play fh4 in 2020, I loved this song. I didn’t look at the artist until early 2021, thats when I discovered odesza, then I listened to more of their music and they were my favorite❤️. Then February 6 2022 they uploaded a video for the first time in 2 years, I got excited. more came out and then the tour was announced. I definitely needed to go. I was at ak-chin pavilion and it was close to our house, I was going to LA for my first flight and concert in march, I went to imagine dragons. I listened to better now after we landed at Burbank airport. You were the second concert I’ve been to, at the concert a nice girl came up to me and gave me a blue rubber duck that said ducking crazy. But honestly my favorite song of the album is better now
Man, this song really drives you to continue with your life, when I first listened to it, there were hard times, but after listening it, I thought better moments and opportunities were about to come, so if there’s someone living tough situations just think that there’s a life in front, and that you have to enjoy it no matter what, you will never know when is going to be your last day, so think of moments apart from the bad ones

Whenever I listen to this I imagine, what I'm going to accomplish in my life. It is giving me energy, i feel so refreshed and at peace when listening to this. I really thank Odesza for making such beautiful experimental music. nothing but the best feelings.

I opened the Forza Horzion 4 demo to find this track playing as the game's theme song. I have no words but tears running through my eyes after seeing how the game illustrated U.K' beauty with that McLaren and this song running in the background. Truly breathtaking experience. Odesza is life!
