Welshpool and Llanfair Railway Half Term Feb 2019

Filmed on 17th February 2019, this is the first timetabled steam up of the year on the 2'6" gauge Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway.
The trains ran halfway up the usual 9 mile run between Llanfair Caereinion and Castle Caereinion.
The line opened in 1903 to link Welshpool with Llanfair Caereinion and runs through some beautiful Mid Wales scenery. Some of the rolling stock has been aquired from European lines in both Austria and Hungary, giving a unique flavour to this delightful little line.

A small hint, when photographing or filming shiny locomotives, can I ask that you do NOT wear hi-vis, as apart from being inappropriate, if reflects in the loco and ruins other people's photos. My photos were unusable because you did this.

@@richardthomas9385 No, I think my wife of 25 years might not be so keen. Not at all sure how that's relevant to me asking a fellow photographer to show a little consideration for others. Wearing hi viz on heritage railway platforms is just "not done", even by staff in most cases.
