It is amazing how individual our skin is...I have been using the Ordinary caffeine eye serum for years, and it did a lot for my undereye area. But I tried using as a face moisturizer and it dried out my skin like crazy.
Agreed. My concealer sits much better and my eyes look less dark.
The same works amazing on my undereye area and on my face early in the morning 😁 the wonderful part that we all have different skin
I’ve noticed that my concealer sits better when I use it as well that it helps some with my darkness under my eyes but I like using it all over my face with sunscreen and I’ve noticed my dark spots aren’t as pigmented so gonna stick with it . Love it a lot and it’s affordable

The day I realised that eye creams could basically be used everywhere else because they were deeply moisturising and had as much good stuff sometimes as your serums and moisturisers was when I had a new scar on my hand. It was just a small one but I would just randomly rub the remaining eye cream from my fingers on it because it was dry and in a month's time the scar disappeared while others on my arm that weren't getting moisturised frequently were just taking their tender time to disappear. The eye cream was really the only difference. I was like damn. What magic is this? Should I be putting this eye cream everywhere?

I don't have many eye creams but, the one I have was a recommendation that you made, which was The Inkey List caffeine eye cream. I occasionally pair that with a niacinamide or ascorbic acid serum all over my face and neck.

Pacifica's skincare products are AMAZING. I've loved everything from them so far. Been using their Vegan Ceremide face wash, Rose Kombucha face wash, vitamin C + SPF serum, and some of their face masks. All leave my skin so soft and supple. The only one who (might be) giving me small pimples is the ceremide face wash, but still trying it out.

I love Oil of Olay moisturizer for sensitive skin! I also like Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer, it comes in a square bottle. It is light yellow in color. I have used these since my early 20s with great results!

I have to throw my favorite into the ring. Eva Naturals Eye Gel is great on my eyes, but I also love it as a nighttime full face moisturizer and you get a LOT of product (it’s the same size as their full face products. They are available on Amazon.
I love all of their products that I’ve tried, and never see anyone talking about them.

Happy to know I'm not the only one using skincare for other parts of your face than the bottle says. I coat my face in a serum,then a moisturizer then top off with an eyecream. Yes all products go all over my entire face n neck. If they came in larger containers/tubes I'd coat my whole body

I’m so happy to see this! I just try! It reminds me of the little tub from ClarityRx (gosh I can’t remember the name it has the word barrier in it and it’s 2 words haha) it has tocopherol- our wonderful vitamin E, retinal, and petroleum that can be used anywhere! I use it on my lips, And I believe that’s where they intend it to be placed but they make it a point that it can go anywhere on the face!

Woah I’m excited and adding this to my plate of eye creams . My literally plate on my vanity with eye creams. I’ve tried a lot of under eye retinol eye creams and I either end up getting too dry and sunken in looking. or more redness and irritation I’m fair and I have structural dark circles. (They look pink) not dark anymore but just shadow from my bone structure high check bones. I’ve been using derma E stem cell eye lifting treatment and it’s extremely moisturizing I love it but I would like a Retinol for some texture I still have some keratin buildup and I need to firm this area and keep it moisturized such a difficult thing to do.
Every day I use good molecules wake up eye gel and then their patches on top or the derma E vitamin C patches in the morning per dray recommended. I tried rocs retinol eye cream and saw no results for the texture and firming I’m looking for. I dont have wrinkle issues. I’m 38. So a good eye cream for me needs to firm and moisturize .
Especially in the winter I used to layer a balm on top of my eyes just Vaseline but I did not like how it felt and it got in my eyes. ( I’m sensitive and I need products to be nice feeling or I freak out because of the sensory feeling.

I laughed so hard at the FedEx story! I love the Pacifica products (I have both!), but I'm almost out of the moisturizer so I'm going to try the Ole Hendricksen next to see which I like better. Truth treatments makes a retinol gel that is thicker like a balm. It’s really nice, but VERY EXPENSIVE, and a potent retinol.

The other day I tried this water cream from dermatologic. But it broke me out especially near the under eyes. What would you recommend me ?
I use Benton Fermented eye cream and Benton Snail&Bee eye cream - and I use them all over my face. I also use a collagen face mask from Proto-Col as an eye cream as well. And I know that it’s not recommended but I also use my retinoic acid under my eyes too, especially together with my Benton eye creams!! And yes! I love snow mushroom too! 🍄
And I’ve seen really satisfying results from this part of my nighttime routine!

I tried a loreal eye cream in college, then realized it had mica in it and knew that only made my under eyes glowy and did nothing else. I never bought an eye cream since lol

i got that ordinary caffeine serum and started using it on my entire face and i actually pop it in the fridge and use cold. not a fan of the tackiness. it does rly help with my darkness but unsure if its the product or the temperature. knowing that if can double as an antioxidant makes up for it alittle lol. also, tried the pacifica ceramide cream and i... i hate it so much. it oddly mattifies my face and tightens. now since ive been using in conjunction with that ordinary serum, its not a great texture combo (tacky and matte) so im just trying to use them both up 😭

Cerave renewing night cream is pretty darn close. Granted it’s not an actual balm but it’s so thick for a cream. But I don’t think you like cerave but it’s out there

A friend of mine that was on my team, also had her earbuds disconnect, when she was away from her desk and her saucy romance audiobook was playing for the whole department to hear.
I've been eyeballing the Versed eye balm for a minute now because I have a friend who wants to try retinoids, but she had a bad experience with a Proactiv product that contained adapalene. Might be time to just break down and buy it so I can try it for her. Also, I think I would die laughing if my music started playing at a store like that. I tend to listen to either metal or something I can dance to. 😂

I am not sure where else to ask; I am 42 and suffered from cystic acne in my 20's and 30's. It has been 5 years since one has appeared and low and behold, I have a cyster! I attacked with ice and warm compresses and taking spironolactone. It is shrinking so quickly that the skin is SO tight and has lines and is just peeling off to raw skin. How do I treat this? Can it be avoided? I need help!! Thank you...

I was using the ordinary caffeine solution before you ever posted about it. I've been using it as a face/neck/décolletage serum before bed. It's hydrating, but I also didn't see any depuffing or brightening undereye effects. I will say that my eyelashes and eyebrows get a bit more growth than usual which is a nice perk. It's a staple for me.

I only apply on damp skin and I put on an occlusive moisturizer on top. That may be why.

Could this be used on the upper eye area, like on the orbital bone, as well or would it cause irritation? I have this weird little crease developing there and I’m trying to treat it but I’m afraid this would migrate into my eyes and burn.
I have a question that I'm sure someone can help with! I have red dot (looks like a broken blood vessel but it's a dot and has been there for like 15 years now after I had a pimple there). I had one when I was younger by my eye and I used vitamin k cream and it went away but I can't get rid of the one in between my eyes to go away or lighten up, any tips?
I have malassezia and i can't use oils on my face, but I don't have it around my eyes. So the retinol balm would be perfect for me as an eye cream but not all over my face.

Just a correction, Punjabi music is different from Bollywood. Bollywood takes music from all cultures and doesn't have a particular characteristic algorithm to music. Bollywood can literally be inspired anything from Punjabi to folk to Indian classical or even Western classical or acoustic contemporary to country to EDM's. Literally anything but it mostly follows the trend. For eg., EDM was big in the past five years in America and so did a lot of Bollywood songs create similar music.

I purchased the Versed smooth landing eye balm and wow it is small. It’s half the size of a Carmex lip balm. I’m confused as Casandra always says she hates tiny tubes for eye creams and then says she would use this all over her face, but it would be gone after a week and would be expensive for a routine. Stay consistent, but it is a decent product; however there’s no way I would ever purchasing it again.
