Still finding it hard to accept that she is no longer with us. Such a beautiful leopardess, on a mission and looking so healthy and well. How priviledged we have been to have known her...... Thandi lived a leopard's life, free and wild. 16 years old for a leopard in the wild, is amazing!! It is so heartbreaking to know this was her last sighting before her tragic death. But yet, we got to see her one last time as she graced us with her beautiful presence::. Until we meet again Thandi... You will always remain in our hearts.
Its so hard when one doesnt know exactly how she got injured. Even harder when you have followed this tremendous mother and witnesed her incredible skills as a leopard. Lots of moments. Bittersweet heartbroken 💔
I still remember losing Karula like it was yesterday. Now I have to say Goodbye to another Queen. Thank you for all the wonderful memories Thandi! ❣️💔
And now we have the new queen in Tlalamba. I have a feeling that lineage will never die. Such amazing cats!

Me too can't stop crying. This seeing walking her away last Friday is giving me more pain bec it was last time seeing her. PS: your comments on WE chat on Monday to 3 or 4 chatters bec of their rude and disrespectful comments I appreciated very much. See you on drive again. Big hugs

I am heartbroken...I am at a complete loss of words.
I used to skip over the leopard videos……but Thandi stole my heart. Then came Tlalamba and Maribye. Who could resist? She will be missed.😢🐆
She has sashayed into my heart just since 2019.(Yes, I’m a virtual safari newbie, lol!) But watching all her “grumpy girl” antics with Maribes, her awesomeness with HIS craziness, caring for his venom bite, taking over his Monitor lizard catch, aloe grooming and then snarling at his tauntings & teasings, I have chuckled & shared so many sightings of her! Who wouldn’t love her?!! Feisty and tender, petite and fierce! God broke the leopardess mold with her!! Thank you Wild Earth!🥲💕

Thandi left us such an incredible lineage. Almost every leopard in this area is somehow related to the reigning queen of djuma. A small but fierce leopard and an incredible mother. She lived an incredible life. Not to mention, she really left us with some of the most incredible sightings in the last few months of her life. Sightings so rare you will never see them again...

She really was a Beautiful Queen!! Thank you for sharing this with us!! Leopards life isn't easy by any means!! She has offspring that will, I hope, do good and continue her legacy!! This is a devastating loss!! She has giving many wonderful sightings, and blessed us with her presence. She will always be in our hearts and remembered for the queen she was!! This sighting now feels like a requiem. THE Queen of Djuma bids us farewell. She’s one singular, exquisite & extraordinary leopard mum who raised many cubs to adulthood. What a present to humanity! Thandi is indeed Beloved.

I know we are all really sad to see her go, but at least we know she is gone and we can all share our pain and guess how was her last moments were. Saturday she is there, Monday she is gone. Her final Thandi Slip (crying).. now she is there.. next moment she is gone, Thank you Thandi for giving us so many memories. My favorite moment was Thandi Log. RIP Queen.

What happened to Thandi? Sorry I missed the past few days. It is sure that she is dead? Did they found her? Sorry for all this questions...but I desperately want to know what happened.
Her body was found on Monday morning by guides at/from Arathusa she had a nasty wound to her thoracic area.
Was she possibly attacked by the younger leopard the guide was talking about? 🙁

I am really upset about how this beautiful leopard was treated after her death, she was left where she was found for the Hyenas to eat her.
What have they done with her body
I wonder what happened to her :/ she was looking in good health... she must have been attacked
What is Thandi hurt by?
No one knows how Thandi became injured.
How did she die was she in a fight with other Leopards!
What happened!?
She was found wounded (by another animal) back in April, and unfortunately succumbed a couple days later to her injury.
In case you hadn't heard Hosana was also lost at the beginning of this month.
I feel that Hosanna and Maribye is so much alike even losing their mothers at a young age
