I think she still has at least 1 cub. That belly was swaying back and forth. Looks like she has milk. Thandi is the best at keeping little secrets hidden. She knows what Tristan is following her for. I think she loves the game. I know what you want to see, how long can I hide them from you, as her tale twitches with delight.

Thandi is a very protective and experienced mom. It’s hard to tell what’s happening with the cubs from her behaviours. Thanks 2011ACVVV and yes, only Thandi knows. :-)
Dear Diary, I did my usual scent marking after the rains. Of course the vehicle wanted to watch. The vehicle is oh so curious about my cubs. I shall keep it guessing. I am so glad that the vehicle is limited at its traversing. It can't interfere with a good hunt. Time for a meal.

My heartaches to see the little cubbies and I'm remaining hopeful she moved them to an area guides can't go to avoid all the nine lion cubs that were born around same time,She too seems to disappear for awhile just like with Thalamba . At what point did tristan say he thinks the cubs are alive? It sounds to me like he's wholly unsure. I would be keen to hear aubrey talk about her.
