Hoppy has mentioned on several occasions that NB is a superb offensive play caller. I totally disagree. In fact, I think his play calling is a major factor for dismissing him. In addition, he was horrible developing talent. Good character & his players didn’t get in trouble. I give him high marks for that. I agree with Hoppy to abolish the term student athlete.

Brad is spot on! You don't need a fit. The game has changed. Winning is what matters. Neal's overall record at WVU is 37-35 but takeaway the victories from the FCS schools they played over the years and he is below .500 against FBS

Why I think Rich Rod is a very bad idea. One key point is Rich Rod's resume is a tale of two coaches. No question he succeeded at WVU in the old Big East. He is also doing well at Jacksonville State. However, Michigan was a complete flop with a record of 15-22 in 37 games played. He was only marginally successful in Arizona, going 43-35. Conclusion, he does not do well on the big stage at Power 5 schools.

Is it just me or do all three of these dudes seem depressed? Neal is a great man with great character, blah blah blah. Does fit matter anymore blah blah blah. It’s about wins and losses and that’s it. That’s the way of the world. These 3 guys seem to live in a bubble and content with what they have all of the time. WVU Football has been a DOOR MAT for the last six years and we have heard every excuse in the book as to why that is including from these 3 guys. It’s wins and losses baby. That’s it! You talk about being proud and having character and what West Virginia truly is. The last 6yrs is not what West Virginia truly is. We have lacked discipline, development, planning, paying attention, being accountable! We have lacked WINNING! We wish Neal Brown the best but he was here for about 3yrs too long! Go Mountaineers!

One more key point, it has been said that you can go back, but you cannot return. The power 5 five conferences have only gotten far more powerful with these conferences attracting all of the five-star recruits. They can even pay these players today. It goes back to one fundamental point. If you control the line of scrimmage, you very often control the game. These players are bigger, faster, and even smarter.

WVU needs a Buddy Ryan Defense identity and a Punch you in the mouth Offense....we have proven an ability to grow Offensive Lineman....we have recruited pretty good offensive skill players...what we failed to do was develop a defensive philosophy that manifested as aggressive. The next time WVU should rush three is NEVER. We should rush 5 more than we rush 4....we should NEVER rush 3...8 in the box is fantastic...have the QB always worried about pressure.
