A top 10 class last year and now the #6 class in the nation. I think Auburn needs to look into getting the TE more involved in the passing game. Bama really put a couple of big, strong TE into space. Really gave us the business on those downs. And it would be another way of getting the running game going.

I want things to work out for Auburn so bad this coming year, but maaaan he needs to change strategies as it pertains to qb and offensive play calling. I mean, against Alabama this past week, they shell themselves and began to play conservative, which is the opposite of what Gabe himself the win against tamu. It’s his last year if he doesn’t perform.
One these years we’re going to get some offensive lineman. Last year we signed 1 offensive lineman and he’s a project that might not ever play. This year we signed 3 offensive linemen and I think a few of them are projects that might not ever see the field. I don’t understand why we can’t sign some studs on the o line. We have been selling immediate playing time for over a decade and still can’t reel in any studs on the offensive line . The most important unit on a football team is the offensive line and we just can’t get that part of our roster figured out. The d line coach is recruiting circles around the o line coach. Maybe we’re not offering enough cash to the studs who play o line. We haven’t signed a single offensive lineman in the past 3 years that was a top 250 player. Why do studley offensive linemen not like auburn. They could start day 1 here and they refuse to come help us at auburn.
You make OL in the weight room and at the training table. Putting on 15 lbs per year takes work- and time. A 6-4 270 17 year old maybe be 6'6 330 lb 21 year old. There are very few 17 year olds 6'7 340 lbs that can move and have man strength. Take Bama, Saban would redshirt most of the OL, and they understood that starting just ONE year at Bama, maybe their only the 5th year gets them into the NFl.
