Don't Forget about gold rathians/silver rathalos when someone gets to 70 MR they don't need to grind Guiding lands just to unlock them instead they can just go to events and fight them directly, there's also scarred yian/brute tigrex if they fancy the gear for the 2 monsters.
Little tip btw if you're having trouble with alatreon and his elemental checks you can equip the insect glaive and simply change your kinsects element to ice and just constantly attack him with it. no ice attack is needed. All that's needed is your regular set with an insect glaive that has "spirit and strength" so it increases your kinsects attack power Thus increasing your kinsects element attack and then it's as simple as whenever he's in Fire active mode spam attack him until he gets knocked down repeatedly do this and you'll be easily able to beat him without augments i personally did this and was able to beat him relatively easily with no problems this is the equipment that I used: Kinsect: vezirstag III forz Insect glaive: raging brachydios Head: velkhana Chest: kirin Arms: shara ishvalda Waist: shara ishvalda Legs: yian garuga Charm: crit eye three
Tips for R.Brachy: 1.Blast res 3 pretty much made this fight 10 times easier, nullifying strong blastblight, reduce explosion damage. It made this fight significantly easier. 2.Don't be too afraid of the Final last stand, it was the easiest phase, his explosion slimes turn into pools of DoT which is annoying but not as bad, just be careful of where you stand.
Also recommend a Water Elemental weapon. I think it keeps him from dropping blast puddles if you want to target head and arms. But personally just use insect glaive helicopter and it’s super easy of a fight
Something else that I find to be incredibly useful for raging brachy is the fireproof mantle. Not only does it make you immune to the heat in the lower region of guiding lands but it also makes you completely immune to blast blight. No blast blight resist needed (unless you want it for the entire fight). Im pretty sure the mantle also makes you take less damage from the DOT pools as well even if you stand in it and aren't moving much/get stunned. With the mantle I was honestly able to tank and sit there relatively unharmed for most of the later stages of the fight. If you upgrade it too you get 2 extra tier 2 deco slots you can use for whatever you might need. I like to slot in extra ice attack personally
Hi.I following all your videos since I started playing iceborne... I doing really well, but somehow I didn't find the perfect build for my lazy play style until I tried the teostra set... The difference is unbelievable . It is a must, or at least to try out... Muster touch is so op that you can tenderise 20 times and hit the monster constantly 100 times while you're weapon sharpness staying in purple. Saving a lot of time and you can keep up those fat yellow numbers all the time. It feels significant. I am already MR lvl 97. The plan is to go for ruiner nergi first for spirit vien stones, than raging brachy chest and leg to combine it with the teostra set. Maybe few raging brachy and kjjar weapon and I am ready to farm fatalis. Thx for all the help and i wish you the best.
So, I don't know if you've heard about this. But there's this razor sharp charm that halves your sharpness loss. It's pretty good if you want to ditch Teostra armor set for something more tankier or another armor with a better set bonuses

Definitely! I wanna cover both of those in another video
Why anything other than fatalis
You have to farm guiding lands for the silver set... At least for the chest.
@_-_.7 Because Fatalis is going to crush the average noob unless they spin the Plunderblade slot machine for several hours trying to get Evil Eyes.
I'm ready to grind.
To all those people who join Raging Brachy SoS calls, you're the real MVP. That fight is something else.
It's one of the best fights in the game, I love it so much. Everytime I see a SOS flare for the raging brachy I join
Strange, the people who answer my SoS for those quest are the ones carting...
@@Defendo99 sorry that was probably me 😅
Always a busy quest!
Cheese it with pierce shield hbg

this is the equipment that I used:
Kinsect: vezirstag III forz
Insect glaive: raging brachydios
Head: velkhana
Chest: kirin
Arms: shara ishvalda
Waist: shara ishvalda
Legs: yian garuga
Charm: crit eye three
Good to keep in mind!

@@mactivision I don't think it does, even firing puddle pods causes them to still drop!
Earplug 5, it'll make his roar at last stage not flinch you, and give you time to avoid the slimes on ground
In case anyone's wondering, the ??? material you need to upgrade the Stygian weapons to Rarity 12 are from the Tempered Stygian in the Guiding Lands
Thx
I’ll be grabbing these at some point!
3:37 was that a dragons dogma reference?

That’s awesome mate, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos and have found a great build that works for you!!

I love the quips and bonks
I live to bonk 😌
Should do these when I get there. Thanks for the suggestions
No problem, let me know how you get on!
this is pretty helpful for new players like me thank you
I'm so glad! You're very welcome! 💥
Thanks as always!
Absolutely!!
Hi, thanks for great video, which platform do you play on?
You’re welcome! PC Steam
@@LightItUpDan thanks for replying, I'm on PS5 😔
Does anyone know what the armor set is on the thumbnail? Thanks!
Alatreon 😄
Still only here for the bonk! 😄
Yeah you are! 💥🔨
Question.. If tenderized, it will always be tendrized?? Or there's a time limit..
Great question! Wounds last 3 minutes I believe (used to be 90 seconds, but they changed it!)
Out of curiosity, which system are you playing on? Everything always looks so sharp in your videos.
PC Steam!
So if you have no access to this events you cannot get these right?you have to wait for the guiding lands part?
There’ll be optionals for some of them, guiding lands for some, and some may need the event, so it really depends!
Should I do this before or after safi? I’m trying to not power creep too fast?
Yeah I'm prepping for safi and I've been trying out these event quests for the weapons and armour
Once u hit safi you'll basically use those weapons for everything
Yeah, pre Safi!
