Between working, family, and everybody's health issues, when Covid started I hadn't made any art for years. Now I draw every day, sometimes ALL day because it takes my mind off my chronic pain and it really helps to soothe the chaos rampaging around in my head. I started watching zentangle tutorials and drawing every day about 3 months ago. I have hundreds of drawings now. I can't stop. I have new callouses on my arthritic and deformed fingers. And drawing brings me joy. Thanks for your Draw With Me videos, even when I'm drawing something totally different than what you are drawing, your words and your voice are a welcome addition to my therapeutic scribblings. I appreciate you! ❣
I'm truly glad that you are finding so much joy in your drawings. I know that the circumstances of life aren't always the best, but it is up to each of us to find the little things that can bring us joy. I'm glad I could be here to provide a little inspiration.
This was brilliant. Been having a mental block for about 4 months….. After finding your channel and binge watching your videos, well, what can I say. You have given me so much inspiration and this is just what I needed today. Seeing your fluidity and how you mentality process things is so freeing. Thank you so much for this and sharing your incredible talent. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more. ❤
I was thrilled to see you lay the groundwork for neurographic art! It's my absolute favorite style to work in, and I so enjoyed watching you create this beautiful piece!
This is my absolute favourite zentangle and your 'fill in' pattern is just perfect. The use of the thick marker in the beginning works for me. Thankyou, I just love your video's 😊
This is such a great idea for Inktober! I've not been super consistent this month but i've done more so far than I've managed any other year, and some days it's just drawing a page of squares or patterns. This gives me some ideas for what I can draw for the rest of the month, and I'll definitely be trying this out too!
I do the same thing, or they move out of the camera and I think if I can move the screen up I will be able to see. 😁. I really enjoy watching you draw and I find your voice soothing.
What a coincidence - I did almost the exact same thing today for Inktober! Except I used fine point gel pens to make my designs and gray sharpies to make my neurographic lines. Haha! ❤
You have been inspiring me to doodle more, I am learning a lot from your videos! Thank you 😊I have done the neuropathic design but I haven’t done the patterns inside of it.
I love it it is sooo beautiful at first I thought it was something messy as you over lapped the lines. I through she can't possibly make that look good but you proved me wrong
I have used the little filled pens and the I don't know it fades a lot and is so I do the bottle I do the bottle or I would just take a watercolor set with me
That's so funny that you asked 😊. I just posted in the community tab that I will be going Live this Wednesday (first-ever). I've done a few Instant Premiers but never a Live. I'm thinking I'll do it at 5:00PM Pacific time. I will put up the thumbnail for it in just a bit.
May I ask you, what do you do whit your drawings, so good at this you do, and so so relaxing to whatch you and hear you realy relaxing voice, would like to be you student in drawings 🤭🥰🫶🏻
Oh thank you! I don’t do anything particularly special with my drawings. I just enjoy making them, gifting them, and sometimes I put them up on my wall. I made a coloring book, and I might offer prints sometime soon, but mostly its all for me. As I grow in confidence I might make paintings. Only time can tell.

Really isn’t fair. You’re beautiful, an artist, math teacher. The whole package. Could have saved something for the rest of us. Geeeeze.
You’re so sweet ☺️
@@betsi_jae Only saying it as I see it my friend.

This is one of my favorite patterns to draw - all the line work settles my mind. Love what you’ve done with it today!
This was a very therapeutic for sure🙂
Beautiful to watch you drawing! I also lean to see past errant fingers 😅

Yay, thank you! I want to try more neurographic art involving color. It looks so therapeutic, I just have to give it a try.
@@betsi_jae I pretty much exclusively do neurographic art with acrylic paint on canvas boards. It's fun!!!
❤❤❤❤ waaaaaaw I like❤
I swear, everything you do looks amazing. You just turned random scribbles into art. Told you, you’d kick the shit out of neurographic art.
This is my absolute favourite zentangle and your 'fill in' pattern is just perfect. The use of the thick marker in the beginning works for me. Thankyou, I just love your video's 😊
Wonderful!
Super relaxing!
Glad you think so!
So beautiful. It reminds me of lily petals. ❤❤

Wonderful! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It’s looks so cool when it’s messy! What a great doodle! Try do isopropyl alcohol to remove marker from surfaces. It usually works. 💖💞💖
Love too see what you’d do with a glass dip pen. They give a different kind of line.
My kind of doodle ❤ Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you! Cheers!

I’m going to have to buy more sharpies, lol.
Do you have a schedule when you go live
