Love the variety of easy to care plants used! This is a wonderful example of a simple yet beautiful tank that's easy to care for especially for beginners at home! Well done! 😄👏🏻

Any idea why my spider wood turns almost a black color after placing in my tank?
The color and texture of the spider wood you are using is perfect for my tank.
Any suggestions on where to find it?

The spider wood I’ve used in this tank is commonly found in all fish stores in the U.K. I’d try a big commercial pet shop they should have it 👍

Great video. Love the simplicity of it that makes it achievable for beginners but still with impressive results. Going to look great as it matures 👍

Did you use a base like JBL aquabasis before the JBL manado went on top

No idea the shop I set it up in already had the substrate in the tank but I’d assume so

Do u have only sand? Or planting soil too?

In this scape it’s actually JBL Manado. It’s not a nutrient based substrate but is good for the roots and for beneficial bacteria. But personally I tend to use sand and just add root tabs.
