    Older sharks are way better than the newer ones which is weird because you’d think it be the opposite🤷🏾‍♀️

    I have zero issues with my Shark, but mine is about 5 or 6 years old now. It has multiple filters which I like because it definitely does well for my allergies and asthma and it works great on my carpet as well as my hard flooring and hardwood. I suppose if I was to have any complaints with my Shark it would be, if you are using the hose/tools sometimes the dirt won't go down into the bin, but instead up top and it will clog after that. Otherwise, it's a fantastic vacuum.

    LOL, I think even a shop vac might get clogged up for this test! I'm guessing your wife must have been out of town for all of this.
    I am very impressed that the Shark Stratos was able to work so well, considering the conditions. Thanks for this over-the-top demo, I quite enjoyed it, lol.

      Haha no wife unfortunately.
      I was impressed too with how clean it left the floor, picking up literally everything before it clogged! Many thanks for your comment showing your appreciation, it’s muchly appreciated✌🏽

    Great mess test! 🤩 It kind of seems like the shark rollers push the dirt into the carpet and leave alot of dark areas on the carpet. How was this compared to the antihair wrap shark? Did it struggle with fine dirt too?
    The Dyson performed really well! How did you clean the carpet after this?

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s an interesting point! I wasn’t really sure that the front fluffy roller actually rubbed dirt into the carpet until I noticed it made darker dusty patches along the edges, normally that would easily be vacuumed away with the crevice tool after I vacuum throughly from these tests, but the dusty patch on the edge after this vacuum was harder to remove!
      I used the Dyson DC17 after this test to clean up thoroughly :)
      Thank you for your comment!! Glad you enjoyed the video

    Fair statements all. Question though - how many homes have littered about the flooring half of a pickup truck’s bed full of soil? I don’t think any vacuum is manufactured to handle this extreme of example.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      You are correct, although it’s very intriguing for the following reasons;
      - Shows an accelerated scale of how much a vacuum cleaner can handle before losing suction
      - Shows how well a vacuum cleaner can surface clean on a variation of different floor types
      - Demonstrates the power of a vacuum cleaner
      - Demonstrates how efficient the filtration is on different vacuum cleaners
      - How easy they are to use
      - How easy they are to empty
      Whilst these tests aren’t an accurate representation of the real world, it’s interesting and entertaining to see how different makes and models work 😄

    I have seen a lot of these Sharks with the duo technology clog up and they dont agitate as much. I prefer Shark over Dyson but I will not have the duo brushroll. I do also agree that the cyclone does get clogged easily if not careful with them.

    • @JetTDi
      @JetTDi 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t guess it was really designed to suck up such a large amount of dirt and huge clumps of hair with fast quick passes like this. If the passes were a bit slower, the big clumps would have a chance to break apart some and spin up and out of the cyclone part and into the dustcup. It wouldn’t clump up into a huge ball that can’t pass up and over the top through the opening that way. Ive had my corded Vertex upright with the duoclean head for 4 years. I haven’t had any issue with the powerhead or the cyclone part clogging up. Once in a while a piece of plastic or something gets wrapped around the metal part but that’s about it.

    I had a Shark I attempted to use daily like a year ago and it was just terrible. It wouldn't do anything but surface clean, and the filters would clog up after one room, the worst part is... that vacuum was $200. Shortly after I traded it to someone for a Fantom Fury and the Fantom has still not clogged and cleans really well. For the price these Sharks cost they should AT LEAST have a proper dual cyclonic set up and be able to clean carpets properly.

      Wow that’s shocking!! I thought Sharks would have been okay for normal vacuuming due to their dense filters
      I like Sharks for their ease of use and user friendly design, but they just really struggle to deep clean unfortunately too. As much as I appreciate a Shark vacuum, I much prefer a good Dyson
      Nice to hear about the Fantom vacuum!! I would absolutely love one of those someday, they look really cool!! Dual cyclonic technology should be the bare minimum in vacuum cleaners in 2024 now as that technology is at least 30 years old, but a lot of bagless vacuums still don’t even have that

    I think vacuum cleaners are meant for inside the house? Not to vacuum, your yard or the dirtiest thing you find In this case looks like an area that hasn’t been cleared in 50 years. I think it’s still doing marvelous job. It’s not the canisters fault that there is 20 pounds of dirt pass. Not a good review scenario. That’s like trying to vacuum the beach and getting frustrated.

      This is what he does to all the vacuums, though. Really extreme fine dust tests, he doesn't claim it to be a simulation of day to day vacuuming.

    Yeah this particular Shark isn't very good in more ways than one. First off it is way too loud and for some with sensitive hearing he or she would have to wear ear protection. The Power Detect one is a million times better and so are the older Sharks. I just got a new Shark myself because the old one that i had the power cord was slowly dying. We end up getting the ZU102 Which is the Rotator with PowerFins. Hair pro and Odor Neutralizer technology and it works great so far. Shark has no excuse not to make a dual cyclonic upright because the James Dyson patient expired back in 2013.

      I have cats and the little part at the top of the bin fills up and the cat hair wraps around it and greatly reduces or stops the suction until you clean it off. It’s okay if you vacuum really frequently but I would think with dogs even vacuuming once a day you might have to keep cleaning it off. I don’t have very much to vacuum and we only have 2 cats and it’s a pain

      I agree, Sharks are very nice vacuums and they have so much potential, but they are let down by 2 major things; the cyclone design and the brush roll hardly has any decent bristles on it to get in between the carpet fibres, instead it relies on these rubber blades to sweep the carpet and it kind of agitates too which I like, but can’t beat a good old proper brushbar

      This isn't even realistic pickups. Vacuums aren't meant to pick up a half a ton of dirt and rocks thrown all over a carpet...they r gonna clog and fail trying to do so it's common sense. 😂
