If it is a rare car (Type S / Type R) in the market then make sense for the mark up ; if it is very common Integra/Civic in the market with the high mark up still, then do not visit the same stealership for the next 10 years.
I bought a top of the line Integra this year but not the S and yes I was smart enough to buy it with a manual gearbox. Fun to drive and good on fuel I highly recommend.
I've been wanting to purchase an Acura Type S or Honda Type R but after watching your videos, I'm not too sure. Over $100,000.00 in 6 years for a car is way too much. Thank you for your videos.
I make 70k and have one lol it brings me joy, so I don't mind spending more on something that I would consider to be in my "fun" category as well as transportation.
Maybe it's a sign that we shouldn't buy the car at all. I went through your same thought process, but that's a lot of money.... and I make the six figs 😂 and I am NOT gonna take out a car for more than 48 months. Did that once, learned my lesson. You can invest SOOOOO much if you keep it to a shorter length of time. Good luck!
Yup. Same with my 2014 Accord sport 6MT. I can still row my own gears and enjoy the space. Been long paid off. Sure would be nice to have a new car but I like most people have bills to pay lol
I think I pay $180 a month for car insurance for a 10 year old Acura ILX. I’m 36, no accidents/tickets. I imagine insurance on this thing would be crazy
Love this video concept! Keep up the good work! 👌
Thanks for watching!
I tried to buy one year but Acura in my area felt I wasn't worthy and wanted a huge mark up. I ended up buying a GR Corolla Circuit for sticker.

Picked up a Type S for $44k (pre-tax/title) and it had 10k miles, so just lightly used. I think prices are coming down to reality.
Yep, going for around $48-49k new. No markups, and discounts!

pay cash or put chunk down w short term? gotta pay to play in car world 🤣
Waiting for Acura to have 0% financing for 84 months .... or win the lottery. Pretty sure, I'll hit the lottery first..... 😛
You seriously are dumb if that’s what you took from this video
You should do one of these for a Bugatti Chiron. It would get lots of views, just peaking people's curiosity
I’d like to know who’s putting $0 down on the Type S
That is crazy and what financial institution is gonna give anyone a new car loan for$80k, zero down at 7%?!?!?!?
I put zero down on my 24’ CTR
@@tonioguelasWhy?
@@veedee4860I can only imagine putting $0 down on a lease.
@@xaviergray3778 wanted to keep my checkings up I guess. I make about 150k yearly. Have no kids, I don’t pay rent, & I have no gf. EZ day
Please remember that if you live in a city, your insurance rate even for somebody with experience and clean record, can be between $200-300 a month
I'm going to drop half of 58g and i want 48 months at 3.7% W/720 score on the rest

your so poor
@ I know, but it’s so much fun though 😉
Your videos are golden. Please keep making more!!
Can you do this with a lease to purchase scenario?
for that price, I'd spend a little bit more and get a BMW x-drive M240i
Maintenance charge? Crazy
New car…
The seats in this thing look like they made them a cheap as they thought they could get away with.
earning 6 figures a year to comfortably afford this car is insane. im gonna try my best to put a huge down payment instead 😂

Sadly, I suspect the people that buy this earn far less than 100k and those that earn 200k drive cars that cost half as much as this.
Keep on speaking "power" to the people!!!
Could you do a video on 2025 Honda Civic Si?
Great video. I will keep my 19 Mazda and save about $80,000 over the next 6 years.
1375 a year for insurance? 🤯 More like quarterly.
Where TF do you live? I gotta move out of New York.
Pretty much nearly the cost of a house 😢
Invest that same money instead and in 6 years buy a Lambo
0 down?! 6 years?! WTF!
I'll stick to my 95 camry 😂
Yup 😂 you know she won't give out on you
100K… I think I’ll stick with my paid off 2012 accord. Thank you for the video

Yeah 1k a month for 5-6 years doesn’t seem too appealing
Just turbo your k swap and keep it moving.
114 a month for insurance???? Must be nice!!@ lol

Geez convinced me not to get one
Anally can’t afford.
😂...
It must be me. I find a problem with every car on my short list. The design is beautiful. the interior is fine. But FWD ONLY ON A $55,000 SPORTS CAR??
It’s basically an Accord Type R
No it is not…
Wrong! It's the same chassis and engine of the FL5 current Type R but way better looking!
Comparing an overpriced civic to an more overpriced civic
I bought a Type S and love it!
