The Royal Palace of Brussels is a work palace, nobody lives there. The royal family lives in the Castle of Laeken, I'm sure that one has a pool :) It's the first time ever I have heard that there is a pool in Brussels? The "diplomatic dinner" was a state banquet in honor of The Netherlands, represented by their King and queen(-consort) Maxima.

Notre reine est une dame de cœur ! Nous sommes nombreux à l’aimer. Personnellement elle me rend fier d’être belge, tout comme le roi d’ailleurs.
