You're welcome steelguru. You might find you have to move the pois to your LocalPrefabs directory manually at the moment as infinity hasn't been updated to be 20.6 (and higher) compatible. Check our the other videos for more recent cp48 installations.

I'm 67, seen my share of nasties I.E. Vietnam, and I truly enjoy the wonderful world of video games. 7d2d and Half-life and HL2 is my favorite.

That's new to me I'm afraid. Sorry AJ. A reboot and temporarily remove any other mods would be where I'd start from. Really sorry I'm not sure what else to suggest here but I hope you get it sorted and if you have the time to let others know the solution here that'd be really good.
To make a shortcut to the appdata folder or to paste something in the appdata folder? Normally a ctrl+v should paste too. It could be a privilege issue? Power cycle and try ctrl+v. Not seen an issue with pasting in appdata before. Ahhh. Are you pasting from a zipped file? If so you might have to decompress it first. Is it the 7z file?
@@TallmanBradGameplay talking about option to make actual desktop shortcut to the appdata folder as you showed in your vid. Only had grayed out option so cant use. In end I right clicked on 7d2d folder in appdata and created shortcut to desktop. That worked
I like the compo pack. But i also like the walking dead pois. I cant figure out how to add them to anygame that is not straight Vanilla Thou. I would like them to run together with compo. I remember doing it A Long time ago, and it worked. But cant remember how. OR Maybee the Files have changed to much to use that method. I dont know. Confused .
Just dump the walking dead POIs in with the CP files and regenerate a rwg map. It should mix them both together. Unless there are some named the same and the game will pick one or the other.
I'm afraid not but that would be a great idea! I suspect it might be difficult to do as the pimps pois are stored in a different location and removing any might cause issues. However I'll mention it to the dev next time I talk to him. Credit to you for the idea.
I don't use mod launchers myself but if it has installed a copy of 7dtd elsewhere on your pc the you'd need to copy the appropriate files to those locations. Please watch the video with the thumbnail "Microsoft broke 7dtd?" for a more up to date installation method.
@@TallmanBradGameplay I got it to work, its basically the same, the launcher makes a fresh copy of the game and installs the mod. I then followed your video on how to install UL combo pack and did the same for the server and it works fine.
Windows Defender is not liking Infinity 1.4. Windows deletes the .exe as soon as I try to run it. I passed it through Virus Total, and it says it has a Trojan (Trojan.Comerop.Win32.1591). Did I get a bad download link or something?

such a great tutorial. ive only been on pc for 2 years so these things confuse me sometimes. especially after the appdata changes

Using this tutorial, can you add the compo pak to overhaul mods also or just to vanilla 7D2D?

Dumb question. If I use this on a server will they work for the other players if they do not have the compopack installed in their game?
They'll need a copy of the pois on their machines. Check out the tutorial video on my page about it.

Forgot to mention, infinity is going to be updated to work with cp48.4 and a20.6 very soon. Currently only works with cp48.1 and a20.5

No. All clients need the pois in their prefabs folder.

No it's just Windows being over protective. You can right click on the exe and select to allow.
