Wow, you two make an awesome aquascaping team! It looks amazing! Once the fishies calm down and start exploring, I bet they will love their new amazing home.
Nice tank setup. The clown loaches looked so annoyed that they got moved and that geophagus looked beat up he was so unhappy he got moved lol. He looks like he would be a stunner. Hopefully we will see an update video once you guys add the other fish and the tank gets settled
Oase filters are underrated 🙌…yup the price sucks but they are true beasts .lots of features that sound gimmicky at first but they are so useful in the long run
I noted that another creator on a another channel had to add a large air stone in addition to this filter. Love these filters and want to get one but wondered if you have run into the same issue. Thanks for a great video. Tank is spectacular.
Mascara barbs will make quick work of plants. i grow guppy grass and hair algae, especially for them. clown loaches will put holes all through your anibus and val
Oh loachies! You know my two loachies seem doing good, an year old (since I bought them). Survived ich as well. Do clown eat plants line valisnaria? Because, I notice every day that some leaves are floating. Other culprits are one silver shark, one SAE and two three line corrys. Any thought?
I have a question so I just got a 2.5 gallon tank for a betta and want a heater but do not know which one to go with because Aqueon reviews look terrible if you have a suggestion please let me know, thank you very much.
@@PrimeTimeAquatics i’ve never kept them but I keep hearing that eartheaters will sift sand and uproot plants. Glad to know that they don’t as I’m planning to have some sveni in a heavily planted tank.
Hey prime time! Question: my ph is similar to yours about 7.8-8.0… I just rescaped my 40 breeder and I added about 10lbs of seiryu stone, but I read it can rapidly increase your ph. Is this something I should worry about since I already have a high ph? Thanks!
The setup looks aesthetically appealing, but it seems better suited for a community of small fish than for an adult Geophagus. While there is sand around for eartheaters to sift, too large a portion of bottom area is taken up by the hardscape. The wood looks nice, but for an adult Geophagus, the intertwined branches or those poking out could be annoying and potentially a source of injury. The fish may limit its activity to the more open area on the left. I am curious to see how it turns out, if it does not work then it is just an excuse to get another 6ft tank.
@@PrimeTimeAquatics i don't find this to be true... i have some 7-8 years old G altifrons too, they are just as active in terms of behavior and temperament. when they reach 12-13 years old, maybe the aging would show. a six or twelve month update of your setup would be nice to see
That looks incredible, and those chonky loaches are so cute lol.

tank is looking beautiful! Nice work!

This tank came out great. That Crinum over the top is the icing on the cake. Good work!
What a gorgeous tank. Thanks J&J!
Looks great... what about giant danios in here with the loaches... more loaches!! ...and maybe some palkadot pictus catfish!!!!
That turned out fantastic!!!
Thank you!
Red Flint sand. Is that something you picked up ay a petstore, or is it landscaping sand from a home improvement store?
Got that from Zooxae. Price was very fair.
Nice Scape guys! I love the red flint sand.
Beautiful scape!!! Love clown loaches! Wish I could have clown loaches in my tank but the largest tank I can have, per my rental lease, is 20 gallons.
Tank looks great 😀😀 Merry Christmas 🌟🌟
That is stunning! Great job guys! Happy Holidays!
Thank you!
That crinum is bonkers! Nice.
The only thing I would adjust is the front and center rock to be rounded, smooth, and dark grey.
Beautiful tank! Good team effort setting it up too. Love that sand you used
Oase filters are underrated 🙌…yup the price sucks but they are true beasts .lots of features that sound gimmicky at first but they are so useful in the long run
I agree!
@@PrimeTimeAquatics I would definitely upgrade the pre filter sponge to something more corse .besides that it’s perfect out of the box .
Really beautiful yall!😊❤
Wow, that is beautiful. Awesome job.
A nice peninsula design, even though it is against the wall. That Crinum is insane. Love the scape and I'm sure it will look better over time.
Thanks for showing this to us, it’s absolutely stunning!

Not sure why an air stone would be necessary?
Love it! That crinum is a beast! ❤
Looks so good! Anubias coffeefolia elevates every tank in my opinion. Have a merry Christmas, thank you for all your amazing content.
I was never ever to get plants to work with my clown loaches, I hope you have better luck cuz the clowns look amazing in that tank !
very cool scape jason and merry christmas to you and the family
Thank you!
Wow, you two did a fabulous job on the tank. Wishing you and your family Happy Holidays.
Gorgeous tank! Love the brick!! 😃 Great job 🎉
I love the rocks and wood. If the fish destroy the plants, it still looks great. Happy holidays!
Stunning! Nuff said.
The tank looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing and happy holidays.
Thank you!

Thank you!
Very beautiful! Love it! Merry Christmas 🎅! Gina
Thank you!

Hi, i love the sand, can u kindly tell me what sand it is? Thank you
Red Flint!
Thank you. I live in vegas. Love your video and will definitely find that substrate for my geophagus scape 😊
Where do you get the red flint substrate from? It looks awesome. I'm setting up a 125 for Cyprichromis Leptosoma "bicolor" tank.
We got it from a fish store near us.
Looks fantastic!!
Just beautiful you guys are Awesome. Great video. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Beautiful scape guys another masterpiece 👍👍
I love that hardscape.
Thank you!
I have one of those wide leaf krenim plants in my 14 gal . It loops around over and over at the surface.
They get so huge!
love the tank!!!! Great scape you guys!!!❤
Very nice crew!
Looks wonderful.
The tank looks great!
Real nice looking tank
Beautiful as always!
Please consider adding a pair of Geophagus harreri (maroni), very overlooked fish!
Mascara barbs will make quick work of plants. i grow guppy grass and hair algae, especially for them. clown loaches will put holes all through your anibus and val
Ya, the mascaras may not wind up in that tank. I have a few other ideas.
Nice setup!
Love your set up 👏👏👏👌❤️
Nice aquarium and gorgeus loaches, happy to see them. Happy christmas😊.
Thank you!
It looks great!
Tank looks amazing!!! Can you spell the name of that 6 foot plant? I want one!!
It’s some type of crinum?
Oh loachies! You know my two loachies seem doing good, an year old (since I bought them). Survived ich as well. Do clown eat plants line valisnaria? Because, I notice every day that some leaves are floating. Other culprits are one silver shark, one SAE and two three line corrys. Any thought?
Sometimes they uproot them for sure.
Beautiful tank set up ❤ Once the fish have acclimatised themselves to new surroundings it will look amazing 👏
Have a nice Christmas both 🎄
I love this tank❤
Anubia coffeefolia 😍😍😍
I love your shirt jason

That all I have ever used were the nano heaters from Petsmart.
You both created a wonderful atmosphere!! Wishing you a Happy Christmas eve and Merry Christmas ❤
Thank you - you too!
Great tank, where can I get the substrate? What company sells it?
I'm not sure - we found it at a petstore by us.
Wow, you guys did an awesome job! I love how the Fish room gallery is turning out! 🔥🔥🔥 Happy Holidays!
🎄
Thank you!
how do you keep the geophagus from uprooting all those plants?
I’ve never had a problem with them doing that?
@@PrimeTimeAquatics i’ve never kept them but I keep hearing that eartheaters will sift sand and uproot plants. Glad to know that they don’t as I’m planning to have some sveni in a heavily planted tank.
Wow! I'm stealing this scape!
Nice!
Me too 😅 Starting tomorrow. Christmas days are made for decorating aquariums 😂

It hasn't ever had a meaningful impact on my pH.
@@PrimeTimeAquatics thanks!
AMAZING
Can you tell me what kind of light is that?
Aquaillumination Blade - really like it!
@@PrimeTimeAquatics Wow! That's crazy expensive. So is the canister filter.

As Geophagus age they tend to be relatively inactive fish.

Can you put different geophagus together in the same tank ?? Say a 75 gal tank
Sure!
Nice
No mosses?
Not yet
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks awesome!
