I love the lemon. I’ve Kept them for a long time. I have 5 of them in a 46 bow with a discus pair and a few loaches. These fish are amazing. Great vid.
would love to see a profile on the rathbuns tetra, such a great hardy active little fish with some great colour, ive heard them described as barbs of the tetra world and i am so happy i got mine, went into my LFS for black neons but they were sold out so got these instead and love them way more then the black neons
I saw them in person for the 1st time the other day, and they were a bit washed at the store. They were still gorgeous. I would love to see what they look like in full color.
@@laattardo I have a few the get a beautiful translucent yellow with bright red eyes. I can't recommend them enough. It takes them like a month or 2 to get there though because in the store they are juvenile
Great summary!!! Quick question ... what is the school of fish at the top of the tank around 1:45 to 1:51 time duration? The ones travelling from right to left of the tank in a line. Are they Chili Rasbora? Thanks
Hi, thank you for all this great info on your channel! I’m looking for some advice please! We are very new to the hobby, like 3 months in. It was a surprise, our black skirt tetras laid eggs! We now have about 25-30 fry in a 10 gallon with a sponge filter from Aquarium Co-op. The food we give them just sits in the tank. How do I do a water change? They are just so tiny and delicate. Also, can I add methylene blue to the tank, to stop any diseases from the food that’s been sitting there? What else do I need to know about black skirt tetra fry? ANY info you can give would be very helpful, thank you! 😊
Please someone help me! This channel has a video from 9 months ago “this must be the best fish store Fish gallerry” .at min 12:18 there are some blue fish in the tank with a loach , can please anyone tell me what is the name of the fish ? I love them
Hi. I need your help please!! Don't know what to do. My cichlids are swimming on the top gasping for oxygen. I have a air stone and a wave maker. Water test, amm-0, Nitrate-40, Nitrite-0,Hardness-25(very soft),Chlorine-0,Alkalinity-180,PH-7.8,Temp-82. Thx in advance. Did 25% water change...
My lemons love eating all the live plants including pulling up the grass which nobody ever mentions so if anyone more into scapping is thinking lemons be warned. Love that tank😮
Looking for some advice from anyone… My cardinal tetras are super anti-social. They’re in a group of 30, in a 55 gallon tank, it’s a densely planted tank with an open area the middle. The only other fish in there are the cleanup crew. There’s good top cover in the form of bamboo leaves, honeysuckle vines, and peace lily. The only thing I can think of is that super clear water makes them feel vulnerable. Thoughts???
I agree with the other advice here, other more confident fish may bring them out. I have a group of only 12 cardinals and they are super confident in my 75.
Perhaps add a bigger “dither fish” sounds strange but they’ll see it as a pred and start to act in their usual manner. Hope this makes sense I’m not very good at explaining things. Perhaps add bigger showpiece fish such as an angel, dwarf cichlid etc

Lemon tetras are the most underrated honestly.

Great video. Question do you think they would go good with my super chilled green sevrum? TIA.
That should work!
Finally. Thank you. Can we keep them with neon blue acara??
Yes!
Great summary!!!

I think they had some harlequin rasboras in the tank as well.
vastly underrated tetra.
I'm actually mesmerized of the 800-gallon tank setup. (Someday sigh)
Thats an incredible tank 800 gallons is huge , in my dreams
Ya how cool would that be!

I would try to use a small gravel vac or turkey baster to remove the uneaten food. Congrats!
Are they red phantom tetras also in the tank? They make a nice looking combination with those Lemons!
Please drop the music. Unnecessary, irritating and distracting. Otherwise, you’re the best aquatics TH-camr by a mile! Love ya both!
Keep the music. I think it’s fine.
@@k0olmini11it's horrible
What plant is that at the bottom the one that looks like it has flowers? 1:49
They were all fake in that tank.
@@PrimeTimeAquatics ahh gotcha I was like “wow I ain’t ever seen that before”
Would a 29 gallon tank with bolivian rams , black phantom tetras and lemon tetras be good? This will be my first tank
Sure!

😂😂😂
I would love to put some lemon tetra in with my angel but worried about fin nipping…

I have same issue.
Had the same issue. Added some White cloud Mountain minnows, they made the Cardinals much more confident.
Maybe adding fish that stay out more - dwarf rainbows or guppies?

Ummm where's the lemon fish lol
I don’t know where you came up with a they have a lifespan of 3 years comes from…
Generally accepted life span. Some will live longer, others not as long. Has a lot to do with the water parameters they are in.
Love lemon tetra
