Something i really liked was your view point on the easy win with exquisite blood+ any gain life/dmg combo, i know my pod would "pfft" at it but i would tutor for it 9/10. [We're all out for the CEDH win ] but still I like the if i draw it fair enough mindset.
Enjoyed the vid! Another option that I thought of for "x" was "The Meathook Massacre." Not sure what to swap out but that's a decent board-wipe and the you also get the continuous effect! Really like the idea of torment of hailfire too.
Definitely looking for soul sisters, Soul Warden, Essence Warden then the rest doesn’t matter. But need some early game life gaining cards to get the engine going
So far it’s been sufficient with having the ability to gain so much life, if not infinite life, very easily. But I would definitely consider adding Meathook Massacre or lean into more removal depending on the play group!
whats funny is i dismantled my oloro deck to make bilbo. i really wished oloro had green in his colors and when bilbo came out i knew he was the lifegain deck for me
@@MTGAlpha if you want to take out all your opponents at once, you could run Vizkopa Guildmage. Have Vizkopa out out on the field and then activate its second ability. Use Bilbo's ult to find Trostani, Selesnya's Voice and Serra Avatar. When Serra Avatar enters the battlefield along with Trostani, you will gain 111, and then Vizkopa gets triggered, draining all your opponents for 111. if you dont already have Vizkopa out, you could then Swords to Plowshare your Serra Avatar too. or give your Serra Avatar haste and activate Vizkopa's first ability giving it lifelink.
You're right. But, their ETB effects do trigger from each other entering after they all enter the battlefield which puts those on the stacks which can be arranged to resolve how you wish...which is also confusing

Creatures do not enter one by one from bilbo's ability, they all enter at the same time.
