Gonna have to disagree with you Spurge! When I went to the Parts Unlimited Expo up in Madison, I was surprised to learn that Icon (FINALLY) got true, correct sizing down with the new Domain! My Bug Chucker Variant Pro is a 3XL. An XL Domain fits me perfect! Soooo much more comfortable than my (long oval) Arai Signet-X ! I will be adding a "Lucky Lid" to my collection!
It's a decent helmet. It is loud and I find when i put it on it's pretty comfortable. But when it comes to taking it off it feels like it's going to rip my ears off. Once the helmet is on it is comfy. As for the sena you can buy with it. It sounds really nice and have a good sound to it. It gets loud and clear.
I'm in the same boat with the ears... I don't understand the issue as I fit the same opening spec in all other helmets and brands
Spurge needs to update the false info in this vid, as their own site rates it as an intermediate oval. Most of Icon's helmets have tended to be a long oval, like their Air Flite. It's why I never got an ICON.
I like the look and shape of this helmet was considering to give the icon airflite a go. Usually get Shoei and Agv helmets.
I run the icon airflite myself and I love it, only downsides to it is it’s a tad heavier than other helmets and with the whole halo esque styling on the face shield u can’t have a chinmount on it without having it on the bottom of the face shield. Good points imo are it looks badass just because of the halo styling lol along with mips technology and it even has a drop-down visor
be nice to see you put the other face shield on since it is so easy to do so..... it's RIGHT there.
Appreciate the feedback, for videos we show the helmets as they arrive in their base forms. However, we will have other videos showing the graphics and other colorways that include the colored shields with them installed. ICON does offer photos of each helmet variation with the shields installed as well, in case you were curious what it looked like before buying.
No one cares about swoopy “Graphics” that are cool on a motor home. They wanted to see how easy it was to change the visor.
I miss the old @@RevZilla y'all just aniother corporation now, Cycle Gear as well if anyone didn't know. same exact company.

@@RyGuyTheAVGuy Sorry you feel that way, I wrote the comment (since I monitor the comments on TH-cam) and I've been here for a decade doing that and helping prep the videos. I get that you may not like the direction the company has gone but we been trying to stick to the same style of reviews we did with Anthony - honest feedback after riding in the gear and straight facts to let customers make their own informed decisions. The best way we can help educate everyone and advance everyone forward with their moto-knowledge.
We've never really done shield changes mid-video (although sometimes we show how easy a mechanism is to release), but FWIW - this shield mechanism on this one wasn't anything special or difficult, but I can try and film something on instagram or something if you wanted to see it changed out (@mchugh.211 on there). Happy to do that if you'd like to see it in action or find some photos of what other shields look like from ICON (they have some pretty in depth photos of variations etc, great marketing team over there).

I like this look a lot. i wonder if this shape would fit me better as the airflite was way too narrow for me
If the airflite was to narrow for you you might have a round oval head, as opposed to intermediate oval, which I assume is what this helmet is. Join the club. Options are basically the Biltwell Gringo and LaneSplitter and if you've got the money to spend, Arai Quantum X. there are other options but IMO those are the best.
Maybe I missed it but it isn't on your website and didn't hear it in this showcase but how much does it weigh? I'm trying to decide between this, the Sedici Strada 3, and the AGV K6 but can't find the weight info on this anywhere.

I was eyeballing the HJC i20 Furia just now on your website and it says it comes with a chin curtain. If this is true is there a way to see it? I currently have a Bell Broozer and I love it, but I always thought it could use a chin curtain. I made a makeshift one out of just a piece of t shirt and it really cut down on the wind noise so I'm guessing a legitimate one would be even better so if the i20 comes with one I'd buy it right meow!
Just bought one and it's SOOO narrow... I fit a intermediate 8n all other helmets and this rips my ears off taking it off

Only thing going for this helmet is the ECE 22.06 Cert. Overpriced full face paintball mask.
Its nice, but the shortcomings of this helment don't justify the price vs its competitors.
The Domain is a handmade, fiberglass composite shell just like Arai & Shoei. NOT made from plastics by a robot! What competitors do you speak of?
