@@hayley-DNA hi hun been having a think about all the waste I'm going to have with the sistaco colours I have n got thinking do you think I could mix the colour with clear dipping powder? 🤔 so I could still make use of them. I need to order a clear as when I ordered my glamrdip kut I didn't think to add it! Xx
@ yes and yes! You can mix anything with clear dip powder, mica powder, glitters… I still have my sistaco powders and hadn’t actually thought of trying that!! 🤩 Don’t buy clear from a big company, just get it off amazon, loads cheaper. I got a saviland one that was good, I have also bought a big tub off SHEIN which is fab, it’s a bit finer than other clears I’ve used but works the same.
@hayley-DNA love this, if you try it please let me know how you get on. I will order me some clear and not so patiently await my kit lol 😆 would love to be able to make use of my powder I have so really happy this could/should work thank you so much x
@@hayley-DNA 😂 well myself and two friends and going to have a ‘tea and nail dip’ party at the weekend with our kits, so it’s the Norfolk division of DipPAAs meeting to support each other
How did this compare to sassy saints? I've bought this kit because I was told you get more powder with Glamrdip, but have you found any difference in quality? Your videos are really useful (going on a little binge haha)! Would love a video on your favourite products youve used so far! 💜
Tbh I think the main difference between the 2 brands is the style of colours they have. SS is a bit more classy glam, GD is kinda loud and funky. A lot of the problems ppl have are just due to not understanding how the liquids work and accidentally contaminating them. I would have said GD liquids are better but then I had more practice as SS was my first set. It’s hard 😂 I will do a video at some point, there are a few more experiments I want to run 😂 If you want to join our discord it’s a cool way to chat about all this stuff; discord.gg/nnYXWhHdNa
i had it on for about 10 days and zero signs of cracking which is a good sign! i am going to do a glamrdip wear test next to see how long they last 🤩 i was impressed with how glossy the top coat was, even though it took slightly longer to dry.. im waiting for a delivery from them - i bought those funky line art pens 🥳
@@hayley-DNA That's amazing. Thank you for your quick response. Can't wait to see the nail art. I used to do my own gel nails but now I pay for them as I was never happy with the results. The pigment in the brand I used was weak, I'd end up with thick nails due to multiple coats and it would take me so long to do! My nails are weak and break/bend easily. My daughter is keen to try this with me. Thank you for detailed tutorials ❤️
@@hayley-DNAthank you, do you have an updated review with hints and tips that you've developed since starting? I'd love to see one, even with a mix of other powders not just glamrdip ones. I am just debating the glamrdip brand :)
@@allyjane6900 the video i made that came out yesterday is a total back to basics tutorial with all my little tricks in that ive learned. Its using a brand called Glowdip that arnt really present in the UK yet, theyre based in the Netherlands but i'm loving what im seeing from them. You can of course use the tutorial with any brand - all dip powder is the same and you can mix and match powders and liquids. th-cam.com/video/EePZWoQsHC8/w-d-xo.html
A good tip is use a cupcake liner under your dip powder so you can pour it back in jar or over nail
Yes this!!! especially for messy ppl like me 😂
Was just checking to see if someone had suggested this.
@@suze_deewithm.e.1832 deffo a top tip.. if you're in the big thumb brigade like me 😂
Wow your discount allows for the ultimate kit for only £68 today!! Think I might just have to get this one. I love the Pastel colours 😍
I love me some pastels 🩷 I changed out my Xmas mani twice and ended up with pastels and snowflake stickers 😂
@hayley-DNA ohh I bet they looked amazing. I can't wait for my kit to arrive and give it a try x

Too much base liquid on brush, u need to make sure that there is very little product on brush 😊
This is probably the best tip I wish I had known 6 months ago 😂
All that filing…. 😭
