I ordered the Sassy Saints kit today after seeing it on Instagram and Tiktok. They were doing an offer so I got 6 colours so it made it more "affordable" to me. I've been doing gel nails at home for years on and off but decided to give this a try. My go to is always to look for reviews from normal people not these young glamorous influencers whose opinion might have been influenced (!) shall I say. So thank you for the reviews. Love the ideas you've got bubbling for new videos. I will look forward to them. Thank you for being relatable and honest to a 50 something lady.
My sassy saints order has arrived today , can’t wait to try !! I wonder if the other dip didnt crack because it had 2 extra coats then suggested .. could be a new trick to add 6 layers to sassy saints to not have any cracks !! I know 6 is a lot but could try that !! Xx
There is definitely some trial and error when you first start! Everyone’s nails are different and you need to find what works best for you 🥰 My first best bit of advice is to try and apply your base coat as thinly as possible.
Definitely ❤ I’m really struggling to find a video of anyone doing the nail tips from sassy saints for my daughter , would that be something you would try ? Love your videos ❤xxx
I am currently playing with nail tips, full length and half length. It’s all new to me 😂 anything nail related I always go to Nail Career Education, Suzie knows everything about nails!!
Tbh im just not qualified to talk about that sort of stuff. I understand the basics but I don’t think it would be right for me to talk about things I don’t understand. Maybe I’ll learn 🤩
I tend to dip at a 45 degree angle unless the dip contains large pieces of foil. I shake the jar slightly from side to side whilst flat on the table to bring the foils to the top, then lay my nail into the dip. After I gently press the foils down to get them to stick in the base!
If you're looking for other brands to try I highly recommend Revel Nail. They have a EU website to order from and always have offers on including the massive 10 year anniversary sale which starts tomorrow! I've not tried their liquids as I've heard mixed reviews but I love their dip powders!
I've been working through your playlist because i have a sassy saints kit i need to pluck up the courage to try. I laughed out loud when you got your swatches out and thought "oh this has escalated" because the first video i watched (only about an hour ago) you commented that it was your first time and haven't tried anything like it before and now a few videos later you're officially an addict 😂 is this going to be my future too? 😂
You don’t know the half of it….. 🤣 have you joined our community discord? I can show you the embarrassing truth of my addiction 😂 I had to buy a storage thing on wheels to keep all my powders in. Ide never even done my nails before that first vid!!!! Welcome to the addition……
Thank you for this Hayley - I’m getting right into dip nails and I’ve tried SS so far. Oh my god the top coat brush keeps ceasing up no matter what I do 🙈 Gelish do a dip system I’d love to try, but I think this is for professionals only - hard to acquire otherwise. Anyway thank you!
I filmed a video today about how to avoid your brushes getting hard/sticky! It’s coming out Wednesday! I *think* I’ve solved it!? Mine arnt going hard anymore, so far….. Excuse me while I go google gelish…. 🤣
Basically yeah 👍 tbh you can probably mix and match everything, it might just affect the drying time of the liquids. The ‘activate’ liquid seems to be pretty much the same out of all the brands I have used so far.
Don’t give up 🙏🏻 you know what really helped me? Doing swatch sticks. Just practicing which liquids to use in what order, doing the filing, and making them look nice.

What about the chemicals that each product includes ? It would be nice to add this part as well

Excuse me while I go google gelish…. 🤣
Am allergic to lavender violets gels so am not sure about there powders.... 😢
Gel polish and dip powders are not the same. If you have a gel allergy you should be ok with dip powder liquids 🥰
Try modelines kits I love there liquid
Thanks for the tip! Never heard of them tbh. Although the more I look into dips the more companies I am finding!! 🤩
Modelones are very good x
So as long as you use the same set of liquids it doesn't matter which brand of powder you use? X

Do they deliver to USA like to try them
I believe both brands are worldwide delivery 🚚
Have you got the brow video yet?
No, I didn’t get round to it. It will be the first thing I do when I get back off holiday 🥰
I’ve tried dipping 3 times, with only one success…. I got in a right mess. 🙄🤷🏼♀️
