- Hello design champs! Today I went through five of your logo designs. Some of them were personal logos and some of them were logos for other projects. I'm not sure if all of my redesigns were a good direction but hopefully each designer can take at least one thing as an idea for their logo. Thanks for being here guys!

I don't think he will simply because the reason the big official brand logos got so popular is because they were well designed in the first place.
I think a video explaining the design concepts behind famous logos would be way more interesting but there are already a lot of those out there.
7:01 The papers really didn’t contrast enough. I think a darker shade from each paper past the first one would have been better. Thoughts?

probably shouldve kept the border around the papers, except in red this time since its in this red area
agreed, they just merge into a single blob from a distance and the turned up corner almost doesn't read at all. Either more contrast or bringing back the outlines and it'll be gold.

I'm guessing the wheels were too dark and too small to begin with. But when he enlarged them it made the logo look like a penis.

Totally! From my experience design communities tend to be either unprofessional/weak (but positive) or snobby/hostile (but professional), but this guy is actually both sweet and constructive, what's not to love?

I saw it and thought of Sydney Tower (Centre Point Tower) cause I live in the same city it's in but yeah yours makes a lot more sense (being in the Netherlands).

On that, I’m from holland too. Would say that the logo is not too clear about Rotterdam now anymore. But I also agree the original one was to cluttered. And I don’t have any better ideas. Great help I am, huh!?

It's called "Euromast" and even tho I think you improved the logo, the shape of the tower is the most important part about the tower, and after you changed it it doesn't really fit with Rotterdam anymore..

that tower is the "Euromast" from Rotterdam (the Netherlands), that bridge is "de Erasmusbrug" also from Rotterdam, and that tall building in the back is (probably) "het Witte Huis" also from Rotterdam

Alright, this is the first time I actually don't agree with your butchering skills!
1st: Wonderful, as usual, the idea was already great but all that motion you added made it extremely pleasant and strong. Only missing the wheels!
2nd: All the ideas you gave (tail of the 4, space between KO and BOXING, ...) were great, but the final product didn't make me want to fight if I may say so. Was more looking like a "car race" logo, more a fast and furious than a never back down vibe. That's the gut feeling I had about it at least.
3rd: Zimri, I'm sorry, but nah. Krzysztof made a wonderful logo, except adding a little bit of width to the font and resize it, to me it was already working great! Your version had a good idea with the "zoom" part, "looking at things", but at the end it looked like a shipping company to me. The paper plane was more subtle than your red shape, it made the actual tax's paper disappear from the distance.
4th: A few people said it looks like a middle finger but I don't think so. That was GENIUS. It's just missing a color somewhere to me. Or the sparks should be white also, right now it just feels weird to me. I don't like the font, for the record.
5th: SPEAKING OF RECORDS, the idea was wonderful, your execution of it made it perfect. Jaw claps!

For the longest time now I’ve been contemplating whether that plant in the back is real or fake........... 15 minutes in and I still have NO idea...... 🤷🏼♀️
I like how these look esthetically but all these designs are so... Uncaptivating. Like there is some niche culture in the logo design community obsessed with things looking so simple that you just overlook it.

I know this is an older video, but with Moon Bugchild's art, although I think you made it look cleaner, you have shifted the focus from the city to that specific building. I don't have a better idea for what you should do with it, but with the focus being that building you get a sense of that building being a larger part of what his company stands for.

You're just redesigning them to what you like from what I see so far. You don't even point out the fundamentals of what makes a good graphic
That's not the point of these videos. He has other videos on his channel explaining what he thinks make good graphics and how you would go over and design or create a logo. The point of these videos is literally to take a design, improve on it and move on.

I found it annoying at first, but now it's so addicting. It's his humour obviously.
I get the feeling the behavior and the design skills come from the same source, which may be a form of light autism. I'd rather learn from someone I find slightly annoying but really talented than someone who is cool but not that skilled.

The tower @ 8:00 is called the Euromast, the bridge is called the Erasmusbrug, and the building is de Maastoren (tallest building in the whole country). They're all typical to the Rotterdam skyline and truly amazing to see during the evenings.

I miss the paper plane thingy on the second tax accounting logo. & that tower thingy of rotterdam has an iconic shape, can’t really change it but of course the one who send it knows that, so you still improved it!
But you improved the others a lot! I’m definitely going to watch more of your work!
