He-man in general is one of those characters who I always found would be problematic to do in live action.which is why I feel he is better set for animated films because of his trademark physique.i mean where can they find a bodybuilder who can act?
I hope they don't make He-Man gay...it could happen. I feel like He-man should stay as manly as possible. If they have to, then make Percaedo gay...or bi..or tri!.
he crashes on earth on a small town in the middle of usa, and gets picked up by an old farmer and his wife. He discovers he is really strong....wait, you said HE-MAN right?
Maybe the idea behind the script itself is to get the audience more familiar with the franchise first; by demistifying the essence of the franchise, conceptually speaking (sword, sorcery, sci-fi... Too much to digest for the average viewer??). Hence the story that introduces Adam to our world, which, by the way, is also his mother's.
I don't like the Earth elements being added to be honest. Luke Skywalker was from Tattooine and nobody had an issue. With that, the CGI cartoon altered the origin a bit and allowed Adam to be an audience surrogate and learn about the mythic He-Man/Grayskull stuff along with the audience. I'm hoping they opt for something closer to that.
Open-minded? 😅 We have never gotten a movie close to the original cartoon and this looks like it will go the way of the first movie creating yet another stylish version of MOTU, with figures snd merchandise that won't sell well as the fanboys, the hardcore collectors of all things MOTU prefer to keep it canon, keep it classic and 80s. The first movie was a huge flop and so was the toy line. This has all the markings of a huge letdown for fans as well.
Terrible synopsis. They're basically going for a Superman movie story. Plus, this would also imply ditching the Adam/He-Man secret identity aspect of the character. They are going to butcher it..but hey, if it, by some miracle, becomes a box office success, at least it would be good for the franchise. We'll see..but I'm not very optimistic..
Cgi / AI treatment to the he-man muscles??

I would love to see a live adaptation worth a damb.❤
John Cena is the best option for He-man 2025 Dolph Lundgren King Grayskull.😀

I dont think Mattel would allow it.

This guy's a twig. Too small. Should have gotten John Cena. Not buff enough. Great update!

Alan Ritchson would've been perfect. Or hell, Mike O' Hearn. This guy could've just played Prince Adam.
Just hoping it aint the story line we keep hearing... Skelly is Adam's Brother, and Adam somehow gets stranded on earth 🙄
yep, amazon's gonna fuck it up
