Texas is one of the most gun-friendly states in the country, but there are still some laws that you should be aware of if you are thinking of making the move here. From open-carry to the castle doctrine, some of these laws may be unfamiliar to an outsider so we will do our best to fill you in.

So weird question, do you know a decent place in the Dallas area for some gunsmithing?

Do you have any advice on getting guns to Texas? I am moving in May from California and my movers will not touch them. I can’t find a way to ship them so it looks like I’ll just be thrown them in the back of my car and driving with them. Makes me nervous as I have roughly 50 or so. Any advice on what others have done?
I don’t have advice for 50 guns! That’s a lot. Maybe call the sheriffs department and ask them!

I just moved from ca to ft worth and now that I live here I don't get what the fuss is all about. People would have you believe texas is this republican honky state. yes there's ranches but we also have those in Ca, and I promise you north ca is full of small towns with nothing to do. I also have not seen 1 person with a gun. I'm sure they're concealed with most people that do carry them but people act like your getting guns pulled out everywhere you go in Texas which is not true.

its not even close to being gun friendly 🤣🤣 go to anywhere in the south or even New Hampshire and they have way less laws
