Thank you for this, but I have a question. I do not like my handwriting, so I do a text box, this does not transfer over to the calendar. I’ve tried many times, and only recognizes when it’s handwriting. Is there way around it?
So essentially you connect your apple calendar to your google calendar. Then input/drag everything into your apple calendar. Which in turn syncs and updates/appears on the Google calendar?
When I drag and drop from GoodNotes to the Apple Calendar with the Apple Pencil it immediately starts moving the Apple Calendar forward rapidly...I can't get it to just hold on the date/month I want...any suggestions?
I was thinking of creating my planners with these already set up and having them sent as ZoomNotes files. Would that be something you’d be interested in?
Am I understanding correctly that the appointments must be in a text box in order to transfer to the ios calendar, becsuse the hsndwritten appointments in good notes do not transfer?
@Wendaful - did you ultimately decide to use Goodnotes instead of ZoomNotes? I saw the video you linked re ZN but seems like maybe you think GN with this google calendar functionality is preferred? I've followed some of your other videos re ZN- I originally started with GN years ago, and switched to ZN b/c of the calendar syncing functionality for planning BUT ... I do find ZN very tedious (for various reasons) even after you get past the original "not super user friendly" learning curve. I asked in the ZN FB group why Ed doesn't just commit to commercializing it - he's been doing this for years. I wonder if he has another job and this was just a hobby. But if he commercialized it and spent the time / money to truly work out the bugs, it would be amazing and there would be a huge demand IMO. Anyway .... just wondered if you had any thoughts on sustainability of using it going forward vs GN.
I go back and forth for these reasons too. Goodnotes is just a lot more simple and aesthetically pleasing. I could never get the stickers to work right in ZN. It also lagged a lot more than in GN.
Thx for this! Sorry my notifications didn’t show you replied 🤪 I haven’t tried 6 yet - I’ll look into! These recent videos of yours give me hope for Zoomnotes 😉 Are you part of the FB help group? Thx again!
Hi sorry for the delay! I had to download the app and try it out, but it doesn’t seem like you can do this with collanote unfortunately. It’s not allowing me to drag it into another window and it isn’t copying the text neither. I am new to collanote so maybe I’m missing something but I’ve tried multiple ways with no luck.
@@Wendaful I tried it with Noteful and Collanote, and it doesn´t work. It opens the space for a new event or reminder, but it does not recognize handwriting, it just says "reminder from an image" hahaha. With collanote it doesn't allow you to drag from outside the app. The only app this method works with is Goodnotes, sadly :( But it is a game changer, thank you for this tutorial!!
When I do this, I drag a drop and then a "New Event" box pops up in the calendar like it is about to work and create a new event, and then the box just disappears. Any ideas what might be going wrong? Using GN and Apple Calendar.
Thank you. Did not quite realize that I need a digital organizer at this point. Thanks for the info and the tips!

This works perfectly! I love it! Thanks for the tip!
Glad it helped!
Thank you very much! This is so freeing! Thanks again!
This is a game changer! Thank you!❤🎉
Thank you! Awesome tutorial.
Thanks, your explanation is very clear

Have to hold on for few seconds the lasso selection area until turn in invisible box then you can moved to the calendar
Do you have a tutorial for the Android?
Thanks!
Thank you! 😊

Same !!
So I went into the day itself not the whole month view and was able to do it that way!
I cannot drag over from Goodnotes, could there be a setting I haven’t enabled that’s causing the problem?
So I tried with my Google calendar and it didn’t let me but it did with my Apple calendar
I can not open my digital calendar and use my stickers, take notes, which app should I use fore it, now it’s in pdf format, please help
Are you using android or iOS? If you’re on iOS I would recommend goodnotes, collanote or ZoomNotes and if you’re on android there’s xodo & Noteshelf
It does not drag into google calendar. Any suggestions?
Is there not an automatic format? Newbie here 😅thanks :)

if you lasso around your handwriting and hold down on it then drag it it should work! Are you dragging into the apple calendar or google calendar?
Hello when i lasso and move over it does not give me the green plus it just disappears please help
Does this work with outlook and notes?
You would probably just have to copy the text and paste don’t think you can drag it to copy

Do this work with CollaNote

It did not work for me. 😢 I though I did it the same way you did.

Hi I’m not sure if it was an update or not but I think it only works with handwriting not text boxes
