Did not know you guys had a TH-cam Channel. I subscribed and I love The Blob remake and The Crazies one. The Crazies 2010 is more structured then the original, with all respect to Romero. He really does have a legacy. I loved the body horror of The Blob from 88.
Whats sad is The Thing 2011 remake originally used practical effects but chose to do it with cgi. First two comments btw. So love ur channel man. Subscribe and liked
That’s the worst reason that I have ever heard that a movie is a remake, “they share the same name”, what about Scream(2022), Candyman(2021), Halloween(2018), or even Texas Chainsaw Massacre(2022). All of those movies are direct sequels to the original or reboots of their franchise yet they share the same name as the original. None of them remade their old films, so you can’t say that Friday the 13th(2009), or The Thing(2011) are remakes, they are actually sequels or prequels of the original and you’re wrong. Good ranking though.
Oh yeah TH-cam channels they don't always agree with horror fans call agree with a lot of the critique of the movies I like a lot of the other ones are better than some of the remakes on here
I love the remake of 13 ghosts! The cast was absolutely perfect the writing was perfect the atmosphere was perfect just an overall great movie and I love the fact that it's actually a remake, because normally I Don't like remakes. As far as the ring was concerned I think that that was an okay remake, but I also think the Friday the 13th remake was horrible.
I'm just going to swoop in here to say that 95% of the remakes that I've seen have been absolutely dismal. But that 5% that I love...I love.❤❤❤❤❤ And I just have to say this, though. As much as I love Jackie Earl Haley, since I was a kid, I absolutely hated his version of Freddy Krueger. 🤦🏼♀️
I love the remake of the 2003 Texas chainsaw massacre it's much more gorier and they is a much better storyline to me the original was just alot of screming
Bram Stoker's Dracula is good but it's also awful. The design of his hair and the terrible casting of Ryder and Reeves, even Hopkins to an extent, completely pull me out of the movie's good points. The Ring is also not "better" than Ring. There are different takes. It doesn't make one superior to the other. AND Ring is also a Japanese film, not a Southeast Asian horror as flippantly put in this video. Similar would be the comparison of Let the Right One In vs Let Me In. Both are very well made and while i personally prefer Let Me In, i would never definitively say that makes it superior to the original.

Little shop of horrors was one of my favorite movies as a little kid.

It isn’t a remake, it’s a prequel
I liked invisible man with Elizabeth Shue and kevin bacon
I did, too, but her hairstyle was absolutely atrocious.😂
That's the one I thought would be listed

Roger Corman, David Cronenberg, Sam Raimi, and John Carpenter are legends of practical effects
Winona Ryder is not letting aaanyone forget she’s married to Keanu. 😂
I have some of these remakes. The Fly gave me nightmares ! xx
Japan is not southeast Asia.
I was going to say the same thing. Whoever wrote this is uneducated.
sorry but I’m not standing for the Eli Roth slander Cabin Fever, Hostel, Green Inferno all great horror movies come on

NIGHTMARE ALLEY wasn't/isn't a horror movie, despite the title.
Quite an overlap with Dracula, but you might include the 1970s NOSFERATU

The crazies is on e of my favorites remakes
The blob was ICONIC and The thing remake 2011 was SO enjoyable !
The Thing 2011 is not a remake. It’s the prequel to The Thing with Kurt Russell. The ending is the beginning for the Kurt Russell version.
I didn't even know the thing got remade again, but after watching this video I will most likely not watch it
Suspiria! One of the best remakes ever!
The Hills Have Eyes 2006 was even better than the original.
Remake of Evil dead from 2013 is sacrilege....
It was one of the worst ever!
Jared in 2 remakes
I love the remake of the 2003 Texas chainsaw massacre it's much more gorier and they is a much better storyline to me the original was just alot of screming
I like both the original and the remake. I feel like the remake is more rewatchable but they are both really enjoyable films.

The thumbnail looks like hawk tuah at the end of the night.
Also, it’s pronounced sa-vaney. Not savini
