For anyone needing clarification: - The end was a joke. - Tim Pool is as obnoxious and dumb as his hat is smelly. The only reason I included him talking about Joker 1 & 2 was because he illustrates how shallow the perspectives of these incel Joker fanboys are.
Although I do agree with a few of these movies, especially "Madame Web", there are several that should be on this list like "The Crow", "Borderlands", "Fabulous Four" (with Bette Midler & Susan Sarandon) and "Summer Camp" (with Kathy Bates, Diane Keaton & Eugene Levy). Those movies were so awful in every way that they were Razzie Award worthy.
I am SO pissed about Uglies! I lived these books as a teen. This should have an animated TV series. Not whatever this travesty was. And it's auch a shame because the topic is more relevant than ever, now that plastic surgery is so normalised.
Dakota showed to be quite intelligent in the interview. Kinda inspiring, to not react the usual (learned, pre-programed) way, to see and recocknize what is really in front of you, what the given information really contains, and, instead of falling for their game; act accordingly despite making others unconfortable or making them realize their talking is absurd, hence pretty dumm. Her sincere and reflective response made his whole concept of the meme fall apart. That´s a smart woman right there.
Argylle didn't lose me until the whole thing where "there's a special place in the heart where you can shoot someone without actually hurting them at all" became a very important plot point. Also, ice skating on CG oil. Some additional movies for your list: I Saw the TV Glow; Love Lies Bleeding; Werewolves.
I've watched them all. None of fhem were really bad. Just not really entertaining enough as full length movie. I blame the bad writing. Condensed into 30 second trailers, each would have been awesome.
Lady Gaga has like 90mil Twitter followers. I'm pretty sure something just expected most of them to pay to see a movie with her in it. Add the Batman ip and it should've made well over a billion.... right? Hopefully they know now that it doesn't work that way.
I think that there are more bad films that could replace Argyle. Yes, it's a bit 'insert character A into plot B' but it's meant to be entertaining rather than thought provoking. Also it's one of the few films this year not to be a sequel or remake.
I would love to but I’m trying to finish a top 10 best films of 2024 video right now and my full time job doesn’t leave me with much free time. Borderlands would be definitely be #6 though.
I was totaly supriesed to see UGLIES in this list. One of the best dystopies I saw in a while. A movie that realy supriesed me and I realy liked. Now I know why it is on this list. Good job man. 😀
As you were talking about the movie Uglies... I was like, this looks like a movie I would like even if it's on this list....Im going to watch it. Then you said later we should go watch 😂😂😂😂😂
Art films seldom cost 200 million dollars. You know that of course Mr Phillips. You will probably fair upwards and get more work. That's Hollywood baby !!!
Has Dakota Johnson ever been in a movie she was happy with being in? The poor thing looked miserable in the 50 Shade interviews too. Someone give her a good role. Not because I think she's some kind of once in a generation talent who just needs to right role to flourish. Just because I kinda want her to be happy.
I’ll feel bad if you waste your time so I just want to clarify that the last few minutes of this video were not 100% sincere. From what I understand, even most fans of the book hated it too.
@@Noname304y2u2 can confirm here as a book fan. Some of the aesthetics of the city were a lot like the book, but they fumbled the important parts of the story...esp. how creepy the aesthetics of pretties and specials are. They just used a gold filter wtf
Wow. Tim Pool hate here. Hating people who don’t think exactly like you, and are willing to think outside the box because toeing any side’s ideological is a sign of cult worship. How tolerant, not-ignorant, and kind of you both. I’m sure you’ll get more people to your side by showing you are all three.
@Nirual Why are you talking about “sides” on a video about the worst films of the year? I’m not American and I’m not interested in online political debate. Tim Pool has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to film and his points on any given subject outside of politics always devolve into culture war BS. Could you please highlight one part of that clip where he demonstrates “thinking outside the box”?

Thanks for the clarification. I can't stand listening to that dork Pool

Movies in 2024 were so bad I don’t think I could pick just 5.

You either die a Joker, or live long enough to see yourself become a Joker: Folie a Deux.
I am SO pissed about Uglies! I lived these books as a teen. This should have an animated TV series. Not whatever this travesty was. And it's auch a shame because the topic is more relevant than ever, now that plastic surgery is so normalised.
Jesus, these are books?
Could've fooled me with that shitty premise.
love the Tim poole reference. lol
I know a hip hop head when I hear one. Dope video love all the instrumentals
I really enjoyed Argyle Lol
Joey King is this generation’s Sarah Jessica Parker. They say she’s pretty so everyone repeats it.
Is there room to add Kraven the Hunter as a 6th addition?
Every year at least one comic book movie enters the worst movies list now. Its really sad how they fell.
Idk I kinda agree with Dakota. Why did that one line become viral? Was it just the way the line was read?
Dakota showed to be quite intelligent in the interview.

Thanx a lot for the "ugly" thing! This got you a new subscriber. 😀👍
Movies are extinct they just don't know it yet. It's like vaudeville today.
Bro please tell me that was a joke @ the end or I am going to start tweaking.
😉
I've watched them all. None of fhem were really bad. Just not really entertaining enough as full length movie.

My pick for the worst movie of 2024: Borderlands
Let me just say 2024 had more bad movies then good I thought smile 2 wasn't good either
A swimming pool horror film where the bad guy goes around saying "Marco....."? Sign me up........assuming there is a copious amount of T&A.
No T&A that I remember. Some bikinis though.
Joker the Musical...uhhh no .
Damn, they actually did a killer pool movie ?
Lady Gaga has like 90mil Twitter followers. I'm pretty sure something just expected most of them to pay to see a movie with her in it. Add the Batman ip and it should've made well over a billion.... right? Hopefully they know now that it doesn't work that way.
Jon Cena , A-list actor? Uhh no.
Exactly. He's triple AAA
I've always thought Cavill was overrated
@@byronkennedy7203 Me too. His muscles are so not hard.

So part two coming? Add Borderlands to the list.

Uglies 10/10 yeah you lost your credibility on that one !!
You’re right, it should have been an 11/10.
No mention of progressive politics ruining them for a change 😂 but I do like a bad horror as the comedy usually saves it 😂
Wait why does the joker wear makeup in the court room?
Because he is deranged
Art films seldom cost 200 million dollars. You know that of course Mr Phillips. You will probably fair upwards and get more work. That's Hollywood baby !!!
Put the thumb up at Argylle. It was the first on your list I saw and definitely one of the worst movies I have ever watched.
Folie a Deux means madness for two in French .
Nobody cares.
The future didn't hold a sequel...lmbo
American movies are becoming worse European movies are mich better
What????
Wyatt Russell must have lost a bet.
Uglies what a terrible title of a films. That’s as bad as cuties. Ick why was that film ever released at all.
McG's talented? Huh?
Has Dakota Johnson ever been in a movie she was happy with being in? The poor thing looked miserable in the 50 Shade interviews too.

She was great in Suspiria
Suspiria and The Social Network.
But yeah... she's in a lot of bad or so so movies.
Uglies is such garbage I turned it off after 7 minutes of watching
Joker 2 was a brilliant masterpiece and if you didn't like it you have horrible taste
I'll check uglies out I read the book and what you showed looks a lot like the book.

You lost the potential respect you might've gotten from me when you used Tim Pool to make a point.
I hate Tim Pool. I was [trying] to show how dumb his “movie opinions” are and I call him an incel only a moment later.
