Seeding Canola near Scranton North Dakota

- In this video I am out with a farmer in the Scranton North Dakota area that is seeding his 2022 canola crop using his brand new Versatile 620 Delta Track tractor pulling a 60 foot wide Bourgault 3720 disk drill with a Bourgault 7700 air cart. Canola is seeded at a rate of roughly 5 pounds of seed per acre. In this video you will see all of the action from inside the cab, from the cart and several on the ground & drone shots.
I filmed lots of great equipment on this trip and will have several videos coming to my TH-cam channel from North Dakota and Montana

The last week or so, it's been fun watching Tony Fast pulling his new 100' Bourgault.
I'm here because I was playing Farming Simulator 22 on my PC, and bought this air cart. It was so big it dwarfed my huge Versatile tractor. I came to TH-cam just to see if it's really that big.. wow.. it is. We don't have equipment that big here in Colorado. Very nice!

Yes, living in the mid-west myself there aren't these type of planting setups. I enjoyed the different video shots Mike.
I could never figure out when I was younger how they seededAll of that. Lol and I live in a farm area worked with it all my life and around it. Watching videos advantage of being disabled. Lol

I had never heard of that brand of cart and seeder until recently. I started watching FastAg Montana's channel and they just got a new set-up like this only maybe even bigger? It is huge and like you said, dwarfs their Quad Trac 580. Also as you mentioned, they had it tuned to 680 to pull the thing. Check out their videos on their channel about that set-up Mike, that rig is ginormous ! They had even larger flotation tires installed on it IIRC and run duals front and rear on it. I believe it is 100 foot wide on the drill and the cart is huge. It's amazing to see.
Check out Mike Mitchell's channel. I think his are something like 75 feet, but he runs 3 or 4 of them.

Go and see fast Ag they have a 100” machine fantastic. Pull by a 680hp Stiger, tuned up from a 580.
Tony’s unit is pretty awesome! But you wanna see some units work come up to east central ab buddys of mine are running 2-3 620 quad tracs deleted 30% over to just under 800hp weighted to like 70-75,000 pounds pulling 70-80 ft 3320 tool bars and 91300 carts pulling the biggest anhydrous bottles you can get, in some nasty hills and just making those quad tracs work!

As I've said before I'm sure if he wanted to he would have by now. The dealer he buy's his Fendt from in also a Versatile dealer I'm told.

He said he would like to demo a Versatile, his dealer Full Line AG is a Versatile dealer too.
But it would take days to hook up a drill with air seeder on that Versatile, that's where he needs a 620 for, not for a grain buggy (cart), or a roller, so a demo on these implements would be not useful, maybe on his Degelman disc/harrow he could do a demo with that big tractor. 😉
