      Nigeria all natural lands oceans rivers animals dont go extinct out here. Look at other Western oceans in europe they dump chemicals in their waters, cant fish in the parks,. Fish been eating what they naturally eat, Cows are fed natural foods off the land. The Stores are open market of FRESH meats, Veggies, and Fruits. The problem is As Middle class starts to grow, and more Technology flows in? We could lose half of our Natural Habitats in 100 years. Thats the problem. Western countries still buy Natural resources from Africa and the African leaders are becoming super rich. Many leaders are Giving back to the people slowly though LOL. Hope we dont lose our natural lands because of wanting to be Westernized. Look at CHINA. Smog all day. Ive been there. lol.

      @@wisdoma4860 It's a hell of a dilemma though. The Africans are desperate to industrialize, and their leaders don't like hearing this stuff about the climate and preserving animals etc. The first thing they say is ''You didn't remember the environment when you were building up your own countries. Now we in Africa are advancing, you remember the climate?''

    In Haiti, we talk about Ogun Badagri. I wonder if this has anything to do with it. Maybe it's the last place the ancestors went to before being removed to the Americas.

    • @oyedejijonathan9538
      @oyedejijonathan9538 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Badagry is the last place. It's the slave point. There is a point in the ancient port called 'point of no return'. Once you get to this point, it's into the ships

    • @rotimikayode1072
      @rotimikayode1072 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct in your assessment. Badagry is the point of no return.

    • @richardpyayok
      @richardpyayok ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure its Ogun But Okun Badagry. Ogun means war and can also mean medicine. But Okun means ocean, so the Haitians probably referring to the Atlantic ocean in Badagry where there's the point of no return and a slave port etc that the Europeans took Africans away

    • @Immigrationking7609
      @Immigrationking7609 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@richardpyayok Wow, thanks for the information. It's making a lot more sense now. I know people of the north of Haiti are of Yoruba descent and worship a loa called Ogun, the god of steel. Okun Badagry makes a lot of sense. It was such a traumatic point of their ancestors' journey into slavery that they still talk about it without knowing what it was truly about.

    • @youme1414
      @youme1414 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Immigrationking7609 There is still the goddess of the sea called Olokun. Okun means sea and Badagry has a slave seaport where slaves are shipped out in the past. So it must be 'Okun' Badagry than 'Ogun'(god of war - which is represented by iron) Badagry.
      I hope that helps you with the idea of deity in Yoruba tradition.

    We'll done. You are now a full fledge Nigerian. I'm not from lagos region. I'm from south but when I get to lagos, I try to unwind. It's a pity you didn't visit badagary where the slave coast happened. So much to do in little time but I'm glad you experienced both worlds in lagos.

    Bro... that is one beauty about Nigeria. Regardless of where you come from, the vibe of love will certainly extended to you. I really missed naija. I reside in China, and its clear that many of these Asians and Europeans will neve teach us with love the same way we as Africans do to them. what an imbalance world!!!. I really miss home.
