@@uberrandomperson - Why hold something that has such low value? Go out and rent a Lambo for a day. I plan to do so this year just for fun when I get out to Vegas. Most watches are obsolete anyway, except for smart watches. They are inaccurate and they don't do anything.

The reps are getting so good that all these differences are barely differences anymore and will be able to differentiated by a veteran watch person.
And that's assuming the watch person has a genuine example to compare it with.
Those differences really are minimal and only noticeable if both are held side by side while under magnification. That does not justify the steep market prices of genuine Rolex watches
I don't know if it's right for me to say that。 those fake watch maker can make better than many japan or Swiss famous brand。 if they born in Swiss 。 maybe they can start a famous brand too. but they born in china. even they can make as good as swiss. they cant sell the same price。 they make fake rolex. almost 99% similar。 but only 1/50 price. if they start a own chinese brand. maybe only 1/100 price for rolex. i know a motorcycle factory they make suzuki moto. and the same factory. same quality ,higher configuration。75% price for suzuki . but their own brand on the motocycle. no one want to buy it. in 2012. i bought a flashlight. its prety expensive。 and i found out its made in china after i bought it . i just think wtf ,if i know its made in china . i will not pay this price for it. but now. 10years. Just picked one up in Ben Thanh market last week and just got to petaling street to make the comparison- these Super clone are insane!! Compared to my my real 2021 126710BLRO -the tolerances on the Clone batgirl and Pepsi are amazingly close makes me feel stupid paying above retail .

May still be tough for eg the cyclops. Genuine Rolexes also have the blue tint due to the AR coating for some models haha.

Why is that every time I watch a comparison of a real Rolex and a fake one the comparisons are never shot for shot and equal? The first comparison one of them is upside down making comparison almost impossible. It's like they know the fake is a perfect replica and are trying to keep us from buying them.
None of the "tells" of forgery shown in this video would apply to current production Submariners from Clean Factory or VSF.
VSF's is 99.99% close to original.. its hard to tell them apart even if you open the back

The bezel color has changed sooo many times. Hard to use it as a definer or real vs fake.

Hands on the rep are not rounded so the edges appear flat ans don't reflect light nicely.

This new sub is not even 1 year old and the rep is 95% their, swap a gen balance bridge, auto winding assembly and crystal and it’s untellable, could almost sell it as gen that’s why their production assembly got hardly hit by local authorities.

Look at the date font 1 is not a stright 1, also when the case back is opened, the text on the inside of the lid looks worse than the other replica. The font stating 300m water resistant is also not fine enough. Lots of other things as well. not good, These watches are both bought on Petaling street in Kuala Lumpur

Sad that a pawn shop accepts fake items and eventually even sells them fully knowing it's a fake. If the fake Rolex You saw was exactly like the fake on this video, be prepared to pay some $400 - $500 for a new one. Technically asking $150 seems "legit" as they at the pawn shop didn't themselves pay even a hundred of a fake Rolex they and the original seller both knew and agreed, pricing accordingly.

@@Ruilmerijk depends on the accuracy and quality that you want to pay for €160 is a start they can go upto €800-1000 for the 904L stainless steel with 3235 movement, I'm currently looking at purchasing one so I'm still trying to educate myself more about them before I buy, What I do know so far is that the top quality clone watches are done by either VSF or Noob and others and they come in Versions- v1 v2 now updated to v12 the accuracy and improvements increase with each version so when searching for say a submariner clone your looking for a

When you can’t tell the difference without a magnifying glass, what is the point of spending thousands on the genuine one? Or are the utility and appearance irrelevant and it is all about status? I might buy a cheap quartz watch with similar style but I would not touch the real thing, they are made for company managers, lawyers and the like to show how well they are doing.

You missed the absolute easiest tell even before getting out the loupe. A fake can be spotted instantly by running your fingernail across the ridges on the case back teeth. If it feels a little rough (sharp teeth) its fake. The gen is smooth. Having said that, they are very good now and well worth their asking price of USD 550.00 or so.

Excellent tip for those buying one, but for the schmo that doesn't mind having a cheat on his wrist, it won't matter. No person the copy owner will meet is going to be able to discern he's wearing a fake unless he's actually handed the watch to examine up close. No way I can tell one from the other without a loupe and a genuine example to compare it to.

You can not tell when someone is wearing a fake and no comparison Rolex is right there. I have three Rolex and I can’t tell. Makes you wonder why Rolex doesn’t reduce the price after a year of sales. Too much BS hype around Rolex to keep prices up. A time price is a time price to a point. I’m tired of the high price hype. Just tighten the spring on the bezel. I was given a new Addiesdiver and the bezel on the $100 watch is as tight and crisp as any of my Rolexes. Sellers get so picky to justify why we pay too much for these watches. By the way, Rolex steel is softer than the usual surgical steel used. So Rolexes have to be polished more. I think that is stupid.
movement quality apart, the most noticeable is the hands, as per the edge in hands in flat and ugly in replica and in gen it gives a nice finish and depht 3d effect.
